I had such a lovely experience at Azienda Agricola La Lastra! As a solo traveler, I felt incredibly welcome and even made some new friends during the tasting. Mia was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, passionate, and thoughtful in explaining their winemaking process and how climate change is impacting the region. The food was delicious, and the wines were even better. My favorite was the Chianti Colli Senesi. Highly recommend visiting—it’s just a short drive from Siena and absolutely worth it!

The tour was fantastic and informative. The wine was delicious. We ordered a case! The food was phenomenal. That ravioli might have been the best food we had in all of Italy! Would 100% recommend!
We had such a wonderful experience at La Lastra Winery in Siena! Lorenzo was welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate about the wines and the winery.
He made our entire experience fun, relaxed and informative. We had excellent wines and food!

It was extremely well run. Started on time and Lorenzo was a fabulous host. He taught us how wine was made, then we walked to the vineyard and he gave a great explanation of how the grapes are grown and what can impact their growth and the the finale was the tasting. We went into a beautiful room and had 4 wines that were paired with a fabulous lunch (compliments to the chef) followed by another wine then dessert (compliments to the chef) with another wine! Well worth the money and conveniently located to Siena. Lorenzo was incredible - he deserves a raise!!!

Excellent overview of vineyard management and the wine production process! John is knowledgeable and very personable. The 4 (actually SIX) wines that we tasted were quite good and the meal accompanying it was excellent (lived the flourless chocolate cake!). All aspects of the 3-4 hours were carefully planned and curated. Thank you for a wonderful Tuscany experience!
We really enjoyed this tour of the gorgeous La Lastra vineyard! Lorenzo was a great guide - knowledgeable and fun! The main house was beautiful and meeting one of their lovely little cats was an added bonus. The lunch served was delicious, and they asked about dietary requirements beforehand which was great as my partner and I are vegetarian. The tour was the perfect mix of laidback, low pressure and genuinely really interesting. You should definitely go here if you’re visiting Siena!!!
Wonderfully informative and delicious experience! Lorenzo was funny and entertaining and extremely knowledgeable, the six tastings were fabulous.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Lorenzo was an outstanding guide—enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining from start to finish. The winery tour was informative without feeling rushed, the wines were excellent, and the food was delicious. To top it off, Lorenzo even helped us arrange a taxi back to Siena at the end of the tour.
One tip: don’t try to walk to the winery. It looks possible on mapping apps, but it’s much farther and more difficult than it appears. You’ll definitely want to take a taxi. Since taxis can be hard to find in Siena, I recommend messaging the winery in advance to see if they can arrange one for you.

Cristian was a fantastic host/guide! He was very knowledgeable about the wine growing, harvesting, and distillation processes. There was a great assortment of wines, perfectly paired with food & dessert.
He and the staff also helped with getting taxis back to Siena train station, which was very kind and helpful. It was a great way to spend the day in Siena, have great food, and learn about wine.

This was a wonderful organic vineyard and wine tasting tour in the beautiful hills of Tuscany, just outside Siena. Our host (and sommelier) was top notch - extremely knowledgeable, charming and passionate about their entire process and various wines. The light lunch and wine tasting segment of the afternoon was a perfect ending to a very enjoyable visit. Would highly recommend this tour if a vineyard and wine tasting event is on your to do list while in Tuscany.
AMAZING! Our tour guide was so friendly, fun and informative! We learned so much and really enjoyed seeing the property, learning a lot about wine and olive oil production. We loved the lunch- it was delicious and so fun to try 6 different wine pairings! We would recommend to anyone looking for something fun to do! They also have the cutest cats!

This is a lovely small winery with a family feel. The Tuscan views are stunning. Gian Luigi is a spectator guide who educated our group in the subtle and complex art of winemaking. We all left fascinated by this industry and this boutique winery. The home made made was a scrumptious accompaniment to the wine pairings.
The owner is very passionate about his farms. Very interesting. Our group was small and fun. Lunch was some of the BEST we have had on our trip.
Small tour. Our guide was outstanding. He gave us so much great information about the vines, how they grow , how old they are & harvest. He also educated us about olive oil & the trees

An absolutely amazing experience at La Lastra. The winery is charming and full of character. The tour was very informative and engaging covering information on the vineyards, wine making process and wine cellar. The wine tasting was delicious and the homemade lunch was a perfect pairing with the wine selections. Shipping wine home to the US rather than carrying through Italy and the airport was trouble free. Thank you Lorenzo and the entire staff at La Lastra!
Beautiful area, people and food , even though I’m not a big wine drinker it was a fabulous lunch and I gained so much knowledge and met some lovely people .

This was a great tour that showcased wines and olive oils of the region. A lot of wineries focus on their own history and processes, but this one went into a lot of general wine principles, including proper tasting methods, pairing, etc. The light lunch was very delicious as well. Highly recommend this tour.
