Our tour guide Mohad was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about Siena’s history but also about all the food, wine and gelato places. Some of them truly hidden gems! Perfect mix of walking tour and tasting of local specialties, all within 3 hours and away from the big tourist areas. I would highly recommend this tour!

This was honestly one of the best tours I’ve been on, and I’ve done hundreds. Our guide was informative and interesting. We stopped for gelato tasting, wine tasting, and had a delicious lunch of traditional Tuscan cuisine. We saw so much of Siena and heard about its history. The tour with lunch was about an hour longer than what the info said so I was glad I didn’t have anything planned for afterwards.

Great lunch at the end of the tour

Julie was a wonderful guide, however I feel like there were some areas where she shared too much details that made me lose attention. Also, I felt like the description was a bit misleading, I thought this was a tour with multiple tastings and lunch at the end, but we only tasted three different gelatos in the beginning of the tour and two sparkling wines before lunch. So I suggest you have a light breakfast because the tour started at 10:30 and lunch was at 1pm.

I recently had an amazing walking tour of Siena, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and truly a joy to be with, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. The city is stunning, and exploring it on foot allowed us to soak in all its beauty. Just a tip: be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as there’s plenty of walking involved. This tour is a must-do when you’re in Siena!

Missteps and a low quality lunch

Not well organized. Gelato shop nice. Sparkling wine tasting at a high quality store. Greasy pizza appetizer. Lunch a disaster! Fast food pasta shop serving overly salted pasta in cardboard takeout containers with a questionable liquid called wine to wash it down. This tour needs a total makeover.

Dear traveler, Not sure which tour you did but was not with us. We don't do any pasta fast food or pizza but we go to a local Michelin guide restaurant. Please cancel the review because you got the wrong tour. If you check all our reviews you can see we don't go to any fast food pasta place.

Thorough, indepth and fun tour of Siena

Our guide Julie was outgoing, lively and very knowledgeable of the city, current and historical. Mostly a walking tour with one stop for gelato and one stop for wine with meats and cheeses. We did stop at a wine store specializing in Tuscan wine and after the tour ended several us went back and had a wine tasting. If you want historical and current perspective of Siena it's a very good tour and you'll get a little bit food and wine with it.

A great tour in a stunning city

We all loved this tour round the beautiful Siena. My husband, myself and our three teenage sons. The guide was friendly and gave a really interesting overview of life in the city historically, showing us where you can spot those details today. The food and the information about the food was all great and nicely timed as we walked through the tour.

We really loved this tour. We had two little kids with us (6&8) and 4 adults. We had a good mix of history of the city and food. We LOVED the last stop with all the meats and cheeses. The owners of the shop were so nice and hospitable. Would definitely recommend to people who have small kids but still want to get a quick shot of the city.

A couple hours well spent in Siena

Our food tour with Sylvia was delightful. She knows Siena very well and provided us with fabulous insights into the history and culture of the city. My wife and I saw many parts of the city we had never seen and met such nice people in the shops where we stopped for food (Crostini, flat bread, meats, cheeses, wine and gelato). So much food we had to bring some back to the hotel. The recently discovered centuries old wine cellar at Cantina del Brunello was a real highlight. Really a great way to spend a couple hours of our 5-day stay in Siena! Thanks again Sylvia!! Tom and Sheila

Was a very small group so very intimate. Angie was a great guide. We were late because of confusion with our bus and then needing to get taxi. The tour operator was able to support us to catch up with Angie and the other participants so we did not miss out. Very informative tour on the location as well as the food and wine. Very enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour company. .

It was a little difficult to find the meeting site. Maybe better to list front of the Hotel Siena. However, our tour guide, Morad, was AMAZING. His historical knowledge was unparalleled. The tour was wonderful and the tasting were so hospitable and congenial. Just a great experience!
