I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Giuseppe, was very knowledgeable and shared information regarding history, culture, food, influences of Archimedes and the Greeks, with lots of tips which was valuable. I actually ran into him twice after my tour as I walked around beautiful Ortigia and tried the restaurants he had suggested! His best tip was to just wander the streets of this beautiful town- just a special place! Thank you Giuseppe!

Had a wonderful morning with Chris He was so informative, interesting, passionate and fun, as well as a font of knowledge. Everything I learnt was Amazing about Malta, the history, and other fun facts. It’s the only way to go. A small group tour ,that covers everything . These guys no their stuff and you get a much better experience than in a large group. Thanks Chris Amazing morning.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Brenda was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable and interesting, and paced the tour according to our ages and needs. Highly recommended.

If your goal is to learn something about Syracuse - this is not the right tour. While we appreciate a personal perspective, the tour guide Maria chose to aimlessly and without coherent plan drag us through the city, pointing to the places where she went to school, where she takes her morning stroll, where she had a family reunion, etc. while this info could be a nice supplement to the tour, it is not a substitute for a substantive knowledge. There was not a single historic fact articulated through the tour. The level of guidance was “Do you know why residents put potted plants outside of their houses? This is to make the streets more beautiful” Who could have guessed! While Maria seemed to be nice and friendly person, her tour tour lacked structure and substance and was not any different from unguided casual stroll around the historic center.

We had a very special day with Giuseppe touring Ortigia. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable.. Along with all the history of this city from architecture to off the tourist path sites, we also learned about the fishermen here, cheese making traditions, and local food and customs..
We are so pleased that we took this tour and not simply see the island on our own.
Guiseppe made our experience so informative and entertaining that we will never forget Siracusa. We highly recommend this experience and if you are lucky, you may tour with Guiseppe!
