If you judged Sicily...

If you judged Sicily based upon the view from your cruise ship, you would miss all of the beauty that the island had to offer. Termina was absolutely gorgeous, and the views were unlike anything we saw. Make sure to stop and eat Cristina’s. Can’t remember name of the place but when you’re walking through the town they have a chocolate and pistachio shop that you need to stop at. The lemon cello and pesto were the best we have had. When you go to the beach make sure you bring some water shoes unless you want a DEEEEEP tissues massage on the bottom of your feet.

Angelo and Aurora helped us have a fabulous day in Sicily! Communication about arrival and pickup was clear. They were on time. The vehicle was roomy and air conditioned! Cold water provided throughout the day. We got some good information about the area, stopped at some beautiful spots and they got some group photos of us. We had time to explore Taormina on our own. We then got dropped off at Isola Bella Beach. WORD OF CAUTION- the steps going down and back up are brutal and you need some type of water shoes to walk on the shore and in the water! No sand here! There were so many people that we did not even stay! An umbrella was provided by Angelo but we could not even get it in the rocky ground to stand up! We went back to Messina and hit some highlights there, tasted some Granita and then returned to ship. I highly recommend Angelo and Aurora! Thank you for showing us your beautiful city!

Great experience. This trip gives you a beautiful view of the coast line and incredible architectural structures of Taormina. Swimming in the sea is very refreshing. Great communication with driver and details.
