The Etna sunset tour was very interesting. Unfortunately the weather played spoilsport and we didn't catch the sunset. Our driver and guides were informative and friendly. However, we were 6 of us (4 in my group plus 2 others) crammed into a vehicle that was not in the best of shape to begin with and it was a very uncomfortable few hours for all of us, especially for my friend and I who were in the back of the vehicle. I don't think the tour operator should take more than 4 people in any one vehicle, and the jeep we were in was in desperate need of cleaning and maintenance.

Wonderful experience! Orazio (hopefully I didn't mispell his name) was very welcoming, making all of comfortable quickly and had great knowledge and passion for his region. Time flew and the beauty of Mount Etna is one to discover when visiting Catania.

Numerous issues marred our experience. Despite advertising a "jeep tour," the driver arrived in an unsuitable, aging car, unsuited for mountain terrain. Contrary to the excursion details, he declined to provide the promised pickup and drop-off, forcing us to trek 40 minutes to the designated meeting point. Adding to our dismay, he readily picked up other passengers. Throughout the tour, communication was strained; he predominantly spoke Italian, sparing only brief, sarcastic explanations in English. Neglecting his duty, he failed to delve into the volcano's geography, geology, or biology, as outlined in the excursion description. Furthermore, we missed out on a lava cave exploration, and safety essentials like lights and helmets were not provided. This entire experience felt deceptive and should be rectified to prevent others from falling victim to such a scam, leaving me both time-wasted and disheartened.

good morning, we had no doubts given their attitude during the excursion, the tour was carried out by the guide as always, in fact even the other guests who were in the jeep with them can testify to the arrogance and rudeness of this customer. As for the jeep, I attach photos of our jeeps, so you can evaluate whether the vehicle is old and can be compared to a car. The jeep circled in blue and the jeep that was used for the tour. regarding the pick up, she contacted us 2 hours before the start of the excursion, if she had done like the other customer who contacted us 2 days before, it would not have been a problem to come to her at the facility.

I have never done an experience whilst travelling before and could not have enjoyed it more! Our guide Reji was absolutely amazing - he had so much knowledge of the volcano and I really enjoyed learning about it! My personal highlight were the viewpoints which were absolutely breathtaking. All in all an unforgettable experience that is more than worth the price!

We had a fantastic time! Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and a good driver. Half way trough the tour a beautiful storm moved in! But it turned out to be more interesting to watch and photograph than a sunset. What an unexpected suprise!

The is a very pleasant trip to Mt Etna. Alex our guide was very knowledgeable, nice and spoke good English. The walk was very easy. We went up to 2000 meters on the mountain. Viewed houses destroyed by lava in the past, some beautiful scenery and the beautiful sunset on the mountain.

Pas sympa et arnaque

Bonjour, nous n avons pas pu faire l excursion car il y avait du monde sur la route. J ai téléphoné au prestataire pour prévenir que nous étions dans les bouchons et que nous aurions du retard par politesse. Je n m a dit au téléphone en essayant de comprendre en Italie pas possible. Arrivée sur place sur le lieu de rencontre personne n était là, quand j ai téléphoné on m a dit que le guide était parti. Nous avons fait plus de 300 kilomètres pour faire cette expérience et je suis très mécontente de ce prestataire car personne ne parle français, ni anglais. De plus, une fois arrivé à Catane, nous nous sommes présentés à l agence de ce prestataire et à notre grande surprise le local n existe pas. J ai demandé un remboursement car on n a pas pu faire cette expérience et on m a refusé le remboursement. C est de l arnaque et je ne recommande absolument pas ce prestataire. Il n est pas du tout sympathique avec les clients au téléphone. Je ne m enquérais pas de faire partager mon mécontentement et l arnaque sur les réseaux sociaux car ailleurs avec d autres prestataires ils se seraient arrangés pour les clients, soit de rembourser, soit de nous décaler le rendez-vous. J ai payé cher et j ai loué un véhicule pour rien. Logiquement le client est roi mais pas chez eux !!! Ça ne donne pas envie de les faire travailler. Je suis passé par d autres prestataires pour d autres excursions et ils étaient très gentils et compréhensifs à l écoute des clients.

Selon la description de la visite, le client doit être au point de rendez-vous 10 minutes avant le début de l'excursion, soit à 15h10. Le client est arrivé au point de rendez-vous à 16h21. 1 heure plus tard. (Selon l'historique des messages échangés avec le client sur notre fournisseur). Comment dites-vous que nous sommes une arnaque ? Je comprends, que puisque nous avons refusé la demande de remboursement, il faut trouver quelque chose, mais faire quelques critiques véridiques mais surtout constructives.

Gita fantastica alla scoperta del vulcano, grazie alla guida Giovanni per le sue dettagliate spiegazioni. Abbiamo visto la colata lavica del 1992 (zafferana Etnea), poi Valle del Bove, caverna lavica, su al rifugio Sapienza e scalata dei crateri al tramonto. Veramente bello ed istruttivo.

Was für ein toller Ausflug, den ich nicht mehr missen möchte. Ich würde den trip jeder Zeit nochmal buchen. Unser Guide Stefano war super klasse. Super nett und er hat alle noch so dummen Fragen von uns sehr gut beantwortet. Man hat gemerkt, dass er solche Touren mit Herz macht! Die COVID-Regeln wurden sehr gut umgesetzt und ich habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt. Danke für dieses unvergessliche Erlebnis :-)
