This boat trip with Stefano was the highlight of our entire trip- I recommend it 100%. I actually chose this tour because of its great reviews, and it did not disappoint!! Stefano was very welcoming, kind, helpful, and was a wealth of information. We traveled with our 5-year old, who equally loved the trip. We stopped at several sites in order to be able to jump in the water and enjoy both the clear water and the beautiful views. The apéro (wine + charcuterie + local cheeses + olives+ grilled veggies) was delicious. At one point, my prescription sunglasses inadvertently fell into the water, and Stefano dove down 20+ feet in order to get them (and saved me several hundred dollars it would have taken to replace them!). He is passionate about his work, the sea, and Palermo, and he was a joy to hang out with. I will recommend this trip to everyone who I find out is visiting Palermo. Sincere thanks, Stefano! It was my favorite part of our entire vacation.

What a great experience! The boat was a good size for both shade and sun, Stefano was a gracious captain and guide. It was a perfect day to be brought to swim and snorkel on the gorgeous Mediterranean Sea. I loved that I was able to see and swim at Mondelo Beach. Add a delicious glass of wine and appetizers. Perfecto!

Worst experience ever! Took my money for no service provided!

I booked this excursion and even reached out to the operator asking for clarification on the location for meeting since I told them I was on a cruise ship. They told me that they were a 10 minute cab ride from the cruise port. I was going to Sicily and searched tours and the address on the initial page said sicily and then when you click in it was a Palermo address. I had no idea where the meeting point was and reached out but come to find out when I left for the excursion the meeting place was 3 hours from my port. They did not ask me any questions about the boat I was coming in on or the name of my port. I was told I should learn how to better read a map. Granted I am on a cruise ship trying to decide if I want to take the excursion so no cell signal and limited WiFi. I could not use the gos location until I docked the morning of the excursion. There was no way I was going to make a meeting location 3 hours away. I called Viator to get a refund and the guy told me he would submit for my return. In the process of him looking for other excursions we got disconnected. Them called back got a different person and they said they would put in a dispute for refund and then let me know. Well they declined my dispute and took my $107 for a service I did not review. Worst experience ever. I do not want to pay for an excursion I could not attend. Not only could I not go but I had no activity planned for the day. I want my money back. The communication from the rep was horrible and Stephano blamed me for not reading carefully and checking with a map.

Your review is completely inappropriate and misleading. You never took part in my tour, and the meeting point — clearly indicated as Palermo — is not only in the title of the activity but also in the product description and messages. You never mentioned you were docking in another city, and it’s not my responsibility to guess where each customer arrives. I provided a precise Google Maps link and timely responses. Blaming me for not reading carefully or preparing your trip properly is not fair. For this reason, I will open a formal report with Viator to have your review removed. Reviews should reflect actual experiences — not mistakes caused by poor planning and lack of communication from the guest.

Relaxing afternoon on the water

We had a great afternoon on Stefano’s boat. The boat is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The views from the boat of the island are so beautiful! We enjoyed all of the swimming stops. A great thing about Stefano’s tours are that he keeps them small, a maximum of 7 guests in addition to himself. It gives guest a comfortable and intimate experience on his boat! We had a great time with the other guests as well.

The trip and the captain was so amazing. We loved the food, drinks and experience so much. The captain was fun and funny and joined in on our fun with us. I would highly recommend this trip. We loved that it was small and intimate, incredible stops and one at a cave.

Great boating tour!

The day we originally booked the tour, the sea conditions weren’t optimal so Salvo reached out and was able to schedule another day that fit in our itinerary that had better sea conditions. Salvo and Stefano were very welcoming and kind. Their boat was beautifully taken care of and they were very capable helmsmen. They provided us with plenty of time to swim at each location. The aperitif provided was delicious. Overall this boating tour was an amazing way to spend the day. Highly recommend.

Relaxing boat day

This was perfect! Sal and Stephano were great captains and guides. Sal told us stories about Palermo and the spots we visited. It was so relaxing and only two other guests on board as they have a 6 person max which was perfect. Made friends with the other couple on board. We thought about booking it again during our stay. If you’re looking to enjoy mondello without the crowds come abroad with Zyz 😀

Très bonne expérience, recommande vivement pour découvrir Palerme sous un autre angle de vue Équipage très accueillant et sympathique Nous étions accompagné d’un autre couple sur le bateau, le bateau est suffisamment grand pour y être installé tranquillement. Masque de plonge prêté par l’équipage, pour pouvoir nager et observer les eaux claires. Apéritif local offert, timing bien organisé en nous laissant le temps de profiter suffisamment de se moment !
