If you’re visiting Santorini on a cruise, this is an excellent excursion and one I highly recommend. The tour stayed perfectly on schedule, which left us with several more hours afterward to explore, shop, and enjoy the island on our own. One tip for fellow cruise passengers: be sure to get in line for tender tickets at least an hour before tickets are available. The tender process can take a while, and you’ll also need time to ride the cable car to the top, where your guide will meet you. With a little planning, this tour is absolutely the right choice. Learning how the volcano shaped Santorini made seeing the island even more incredible. She also knew the best viewpoints and photo spots, making sure we captured amazing memories throughout the day while still allowing plenty of time to explore each stop. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Nifela’s enthusiasm, warmth, and expertise truly made the experience unforgettable. I learned so much about Santorini, its fascinating history, and the volcano that created this incredible island.
