Best guide on the Island

Knew we needed to get off our Cruise ship ASAP and was in line at 530am to do so. Boy, was it worth getting up early as we had the run of Oia to ourselves. We had an early breakfast at Phyllon whose pastries and coffee were to die for. At the beginning of our excursion our guide said that he wasn't a tour guide but only a driver. We did book a private driver tour but as the day went on, our driver was one of the best guides on the Island. We wanted to have lunch on Black Beach so he said that he was going to drop us at his and his friends favorite place to eat and drink ( Nepiboaoe ).... Best meal of the 14 days spent touring Greece and Italy, Oh yea, the house wines are a must have. Try the grilled Octopus, it is sublime.

Such an enjoyable day!!!

This day tour exceeded our expectations!! Yota and Demetrius were fabulous!! Yota provided us with so much information about life in Santorini, she was extremely personable and we never had the feeling that this was the typical scripted tour. She answered every question that anyone in the group had. We were able to see most of the island and get a true taste of areas outside of the tourist locations. She knew secret photo spots that were not crowded for photos. The winery was beautiful and the perfect last stop on the tour. Such an enjoyable day, I highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful day in Santorini!

The experience was amazing. Our guide Petros picked us up from the cable cars and took us on the tour of a lifetime. We stopped at every site and Petros was with us every step of the way. High lighting the history, while know the perfect picture spots. He easily took over 50 pictures of us! (My wife loves photos)! All the major stops were covered, red beach, black beach, Fira, Oia, churches, light house, you name we saw it. We never felt rushed. It was amazing. Thank you Petros for make this a memorable day! Completely Worth It!

Our tour around the Caldera was awesome! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, so we didn't need to worry about getting a taxi to the right spot. Our captain, Hector, was so knowledgeable about the islands, the history, the mythology, the volcano - all of it! He let us hang when we wanted to catch some sun, and cruise when we wanted to, even let one of us play DJ for the day. My group was so glad we chose this full day tour around the Caldera - it's the MOST bang for your buck and gives you a beautiful and different view of the cliffs, beaches, volcanic terrain, and rock formations that you wouldn't see up close if you were driving there and trying to see them by hiking in. By the time you factor in the cost of ground transportation, lunch, snacks, water taxi etc. to whatever you think you're planning for the day, the cost of this tour covers that and more. You're on a boat in the Aegean Sea which is better than being on a boat pretty much anywhere else. Request Hector for your captain if you can! He's awesome. Also, he builds a mean charcuterie board ;)

Great private tour of santorini

Makis was a great tour guide! He is a local which was greatly appreciated when touring santorini. He knew so much about the island and its history. He took us to a handful of sights and we were not rushed. We were traveling with a young child and he suuplied a baby seat for the car as well which was greatly appreciated. Nice comfortable van. We started tour at 9 and seemed to be ahead of all of the crowds from cruise ships, etc which was also very nice for picture taking and walking around with a young child. Would recommend this tour!
