Your day begins with pickup from your Fira hotel or by making your own way to the meetup point.
Your first stop is at the archaeological site of Akrotiri where a tour guide takes you around one of the Aegean’s best-preserved ancient settlements.
Your next stop is the village of Emporio where you take a walking tour through medieval alleys and past whitewashed, blue-domed Orthodox churches. Continue to Perissa where you have free time to have lunch (at your own expense), take a swim, or just relax.
Back in the air-conditioned vehicle, admire the medieval village of Pyrgos as you pass by, then stop for photos at the Monastery of Profitis Ilias, located on the island of Santorini’s highest peak.
After a visit to a local winery, continue to the village of Oia where you have free time to enjoy the sunset before returning to Fira.

What went well:
Great Island Tour: The itinerary covered a fantastic variety of sightseeing spots across the island.
Excellent Tour Guide: Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the sightseeing experience enjoyable.
Areas for improvement:
Poor Customer Service & Communication: The tour operator's communication was completely one-sided. Despite sending multiple emails with questions, I never received a single reply.
Frustrating Experience: They continuously sent automated instructions on what to do without answering my inquiries, which made the pre-tour coordination very frustrating.
Final Verdict:
The actual tour experience and guide were great, but the operator badly needs to improve their customer support and responsiveness.

Straight up scam. I confirmed ahead of time the pickup location and time. I was at the agreed upon location and even reached out confirming I was there 15 minutes early. They never showed up or responded to contact unless it was to refuse a refund request. No idea how this tour had over a 4/5. Im not the only in the reviews. Im of the opinion it's a scam

It was a fun, very knowledgeable tour. They also went above and beyond; my husband left his phone on the bus, and the driver came back on his own, personal scooter, and dropped my husband phone knowing we were flying out the next morning.

I had a wonderful experience with this day tour! The pick up location was within walking distance from my hotel and arrived on time. I loved that our tour guide was multilingual and was friendly. All round this was a bit of a disappointment. We were a large family party with nine booked and paid passengers.
On the plus side, Akrotiri was amazing and the guide for that was very, very good.
On the negative, we were made to stand outside the office for over half an hour in the hot sun going out. We had two small babies under one and many young children, and there was no shade or seating.
At times, we felt belittled by a draconian guide when we spoke about even the smallest issues, including a dropped baby dummy on the floor. Unfortunately it is very difficult for native English speakers to remain dead silent during extended commentaries in other languages- I’m not referring to the Greek mother tongue, but other European languages that the tour was being simultaneously run in.
The bus broke down after the time in Oia and we had to transfer to another bus, which was not impressive. During this hasty and unscheduled stop, we left behind some belongings on the bus. Although I both phoned and emailed the company, no attempt was made by them for me to be able to collect them.
Just disappointing all round. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Regarding the waiting time before departure, all guests are asked to arrive at the designated meeting point before the scheduled departure. The waiting period is necessary to ensure that all participants have arrived and can be checked in before the tour begins. As this is a shared group tour, the excursion cannot depart until all registered guests have been accounted for.
We are sorry if the guide's reminders came across as strict. During multilingual tours, guides are responsible for ensuring that all participants can hear the commentary and that the tour operates smoothly and on schedule. Any instructions given were intended solely to ensure the best possible experience for the entire group.
Unfortunately, the vehicle experienced an unexpected mechanical issue after Oia. While this was beyond our control, we arranged a replacement bus as quickly as possible so that the tour could continue with minimal disruption.
Regarding the belongings you mentioned, we have carefully checked our records. While we received your phone call, we have no record of any email regarding this matter. Had we received one, we would have followed up immediately in accordance with our lost-and-found procedure.
Finally, we would like to emphasize that this is a shared multilingual group tour, and every effort is made to provide all guests with a pleasant experience while ensuring the tour operates fairly and efficiently for everyone.

This was a wonderful day tour- broken down into activities, free time, and led by dynamic guides. The day started with a pick-up at a bus stop close to our hotel, where we were taken to a super comfortable (AC!) bus and led throughout the day. We made several tops for photos along the way—including at the top of the mountain, a roadside view of the caldera.
The guide who led most of our tour was named Christina and she was a fantastic speaker- super engaging and knowledgeable about local history, agriculture, landmarks and super friendly. She even was from one of the villages we went to (Perissa) and navigated us with ease through a beautiful pedestrian village there.
At Akitori, we had a different tour guide (Susannah) who was super animated and fun to listen to, spinning the mysteries of that buried city and its hidden wonders.
What made this tour particularly fun in that in between the exciting stops and knowledge shared along the way, there would be free time given at various areas like Perissa and Oia- where you choose how you want to spend your time from their recommendations. Altogether, it was a lovely way to see so much of Santorini— a great driver, comfortable ride, and strong presenters too!

Stress free way to see a lot of awesome sights and enjoy experiences. We stayed at a hotel in Oía and the tour company sent a driver to pick us up. We joined up with the rest of the group on a comfortable bus. The tour guide spoke very clearly and gave myth stories and scientific explanations of the volcano and other natural formations. Our first stop was at the highest point on Santorini, up by the monastery. We could see forever. Then we traveled down to the prehistoric site of Akrotiri. This part was the most interesting to me. We had an archaeologist guide that explained all the ruins and answered our questions. I felt at that point the tour had paid for itself. And we still had more to go. We stopped by a small village and explored the narrow alleyways and churches, then went down to Perissa Beach to watch the sea and eat stuffed calamari. So delicious! We then went for wine tasting at a local winery. The Santo Vino was amazing. We ended our trip at Oía for sunset viewing.

Check with Viator what time you need to be at the Pick up Point as whilst ticket stated 10:30 that was the leaving time in Fira and not Kamari where our pick up point was! They picked up outside the Erokitos bakery at 10am so we missed it. We called them and they moved it to the next day. The trip itself was very good and Cristina our guide and Nikons our driver were very knowledgeable and nice people.

Great day trip to get a flavour of Santorini. 10-12 hours given sunset in Oia but worth it. The views are stunning.
I highly recommend this tour- it had a little of everything. Just make sure to wear comfortable clothes and especially comfortable shoes! A lot of walking and steps though. The Oia sunset was worth the wait!
Enjoyable day, visiting winery, touring through villages enjoyed lunch at a fishing village. Tour guide very knowledgeable.
Going to the excavation site was very interesting, seeing the different fishing villages were interesting, the wine tasting was a little lame, Santorini was so crowded that it took away from the experience.
It was fantastic our Tour guide was amazing she really kept me interested in all the rich history and villages within Santorini!!

Very poor communication. The start time for tour was 10:30 am, there were no any other communications about time. Yet at 10:15 am - few minutes away from meeting point I was told that bus left as I didn’t show up before 10 am. I was able to catch tour later.
There was terrible lack of communication about time for going back. Last chapter was without guide - in hands of driver. We were told many times that bus would leave at 5:50 pm. However no one said where exactly bus would be. There were a few parking lots in Oia and place for sunset watching was a quite a muse and I couldn’t find bis on time. Tour itself was just Ok:…

Also, the tour itself starts at 10:30 am, but pick ups are prior to the tour. At the end of the tour, guests are dropped off in Oia to enjoy the sunset, and the meeting point for return is the same location where they were initially dropped off. Please note that the return time is set according to the sunset. Also the guide informed you about the time of the deaprture as well. I was in the lobby of my hotel at 10:15. The tour guide left already. The pick up time was 10:30. I talked to someone was outside of the hotel. I was told someone else will be picking me up. I was outside the hotel when they called. I was left again. It was not made clear the actual pick up point. I deserve a refund

Kindly be informed that the hotel is located inside the Caldera area and is not accessible for a car, especially a bus. For this reason, a designated nearby meeting point was provided, as per standard operating procedures in the area. Our driver was present at the pre-arranged meeting point, at the schedule time and waited the standard duration. Unfortunately, as you didn't arrive at the meeting point twice, as another driver came to pick you up as per our phone communication, you didn't show at the meeting point again. Since the service was operated according to the plan , we respectfully decline the refund request, as you were no show, as per policy.We appreciate your understanding and will use your feedback to further improve guest experience.
The driver that originally picked us up, well, he received a phone call that had him screaming, he then proceeded to rage drive, he was skidding around corners, blow through stop signs, and drive so fast, my husband and I were terrified! We were being thrown around the car; we didn’t have time to put on the seatbelts! We thought we were going to crash! When he picked up our tour guide, she tried to calm him down, but she was scared also. The rest of the tour, once we got on the bus, was perfect! I would recommend to anybody wanting to see the island.

A superbly organised, informative tour. A viewpoint to start off with followed by a lovely walk around ancient Emporio. We then had a really interesting tour around the Akrotiri site which dates back to 1600 BC. Lunch at beautiful Perissa beach and wine tasting plus a perfect end with the sunset in Oia. Kim, our guide was super friendly and knowlegable and did not stop giving us interesting facts in between each stop. Our driver was equally excellent! Highly recommend. Bus was on time for our pick up in Firostefani and dropped us back there right near out hotel. It was perfect 😊

This tour was OK. It was a bigger group tour, a bus, so about 25 people. The guide, Mary was very nice and explained things as we drove around. But because the tour is for a large group, it's not very personal. I did not like the driver, I can't recall his name, but he was not friendly or personable at all. At one point, I went back early to sit on the bus to wait for my family, and the driver started smoking in the bus. And he closed the back door! I had to get out.
It was beautiful to see Oia, but it's way too crowded. WAY to crowded. Especially around that castle to see the sunset. I could not stand the crowds. You can get lost so quickly.
I actually would recommend this tour, just hope you don't get the same driver we got.

The tour covered all the main places, and the guide was really good — she explained everything clearly and in detail. However, we were disappointed at the end, as we unfortunately missed the departure point. The team was not willing to go back, and they asked us to get off the bus at an unsafe location and use public transport instead, even though at night about 7pm, in a unknown island

It was nice and cover most everything what need to see in Santorini, also they show you hidden gems for places in old villages.
We were never picked up for this excursion. We followed the information on the ticket regarding time and location of pick up but were never picked up. We used the support chat. 1st chat confirmed that we were to be picked up where we thought. We were told to wait in the lounge. 30 minutes later we reached out again. The 2nd chat support said we were sent an email days ago with different pick up info and stated that this info is never updated on the ticket issued later than the change of pick up. We missed the tour, had to figure out what to do for the day, and now have to figure out how to get a refund.
