What an amazing experience! Our charming guide, Kai, gave my family a fantastic tour of Old Town, sharing his deep passion for Basque cuisine, history and culture. It was the perfect way to kick off our visit to Donostia/San Sebastian! The food, wine, and cider were outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening with our gracious host. Eskerrik asko, Kai!

Our guide, Sandra, was delightful and did a wonderful job guiding us through the Old Town and introducing us to culture and tastes of pintxos. She went out of her way to make sure there were options for everyone's tastes and ensuring we were introduced to the specialties of each Pinxtos Bar. It was the perfect introduction! Our tour guides, Kai & Mikel, had local & gastronomy expertise that made for a unique & delicious experience. I tried things I never would have eaten such as anchovies, baby squid, spider crab & beef cheeks. We ended the night with a memorable dessert, a twist on French toast. And the wine pairings were perfect! This is a must do tour if you’re new to the city.

We had a superb night on this food tour with our excellent guide, Kai. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about San Sebastián and its food culture. We were taken to 5 of his favourite pintxos bars and enjoyed local specialities with some fabulous wines. Kai has an engaging personality and was able to communicate well with our group who were a mix of travellers from Australia, the UK, Ireland and the US. He also provided us with additional notes and recommendations for our stay in San Sebastián which we used. The two hour tour lasted 3.5 hours! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area for the first time. It’s a terrific introduction to the pintxos food scene. Thanks Kai!

We did this on our first evening in San Sebastián, and were very glad we did it! Our guide Ane was super knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the history of SS and of course the pintxo bars! She not only highlighted the best pintxos in each place, but also suggested the best wine pairings with each, and more importantly sent us a recap of all the bars we visited, the food we ate and other recommendations. Highly recommend and worth the money!
