The tour was amazing. The sites were beautiful. I would recommend Dramamine just in case you get dizzy going into mountains or with motion sickness the wine was delicious. The tasting was great. The guide was amazing.

Josu was our guide and he had so much knowledge. He took us through several seaside towns and told us lots of stories and history. We went to a beautiful Txakoli vineyard. Mónica showed us how it was made, bottled, and stored. We had tastings in 2 locations on the vineyard and both had breathtaking views! On the way back we connected with Josu on music and had a fun time listening to each others favorite songs. I would definitely do this tour again and if you get Josu you are in for a great time!

We had an amazing day with Ana on the Getaria & txakoli tour from San Sebastián. Ana was warm, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel so personal - from sharing the history of Getaria to introducing us to the traditions of txakoli winemaking. We completely fell in love with the charm of Getaria and even went back on our own before leaving the Basque Country. We can't wait for a return trip! Highly recommend this tour - it was a highlight of our trip!

Fantastic tour with Anna! This tour was a great txakoli wine tasting and so much more. We explored the town of Getaria, saw awesome overlooks of the countryside and beaches, and had a in-depth look at the vineyards and process of making txakoli wines! Beautiful tasting setting paired with delicious local foods. Highly recommend! Anna was very knowledgeable and a great guide!

This was an absolutely amazing experience that I think is a must-do in San Sebastián! We had an amazing tour with Paul who was passionate about the Basque Country and extremely knowledgeable about the history/ culture of this amazing region. The tour was a perfect amount of time and the small group felt special and cared for. We got to try txakoli straight from the barrel tap! After a tour of the winery we were able to sit down for a tasting with small bites. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking to explore the countryside with great people and even better wine.

Our guide was superb and the cider house was a very fun way to enjoy a day in the countryside around Irun. We enjoyed the cider and the fun way they serve it, but truthfully the lunch was the highlight. Delicious!

This was a lovely drive from San Sébastien to the winery with a lovely stop in a seaside town. We really enjoyed learning about the wine and seeing a little more of the area surrounding San Sébastien.

I had an amazing time walking through the stunning vineyards and tasting the delicious Txakoli. The experience was absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen where we enjoyed the Txakoli was incredibly beautiful, and the whole atmosphere was so enjoyable and memorable that it’s something I’ll never forget

Iker was a great driver and host for us. Communication was easy and everything happened on-time. The countryside is beautiful and we're glad to have gotten to see it. We learned a lot about the winemaking process and got to taste two glasses of txakoli, plus fresh snacks.

My girlfriend and I loved this tour. We learned a lot about Getaria, sampled some tasty wines, and enjoyed learning about the Basque Country. Our guide, Imanoel (very sorry if I misspelled his name), was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and he made the tour an exceptional experience. He even hooked us up with a recommendation for a delicious local restaurant after the tour ended. One of the highlights of our trip.

Víctor was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to tailor the experience to our interests- including giving us lunch recommendations for after our outing and recommendations for our next day’s activities, including parking directions. The scenic tour and the stop in Getaria added a lot to the experience. The winery tour and tasting was fun and we learned about the history of Txacholi and the winemaking. Others on Viator have commented on the lack of food on this trip, but we returned to San Sebastián at the appropriate lunch time for Spain - which is later than when one would typically eat lunch in the US. All in all, a great morning!

I have been on wine tours and this isn't one. I'd describe it more txakoli culture and tasting tour. The tasting was minimal, snacks tiny. Not great value for money. Oh well you live and learn.

My fiancé and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Mikel was very knowledgable about the area and provided a lot of cool details as we're driving from San Sebastian to Getaria. Once we got to Getaria, we received a small walking tour where we learned about this beautiful town. We also really enjoyed our time at the Txakoli winery, where we learned about how the grapes differ from other wines and got to explore some of the vines. We even got to see the bottling line in action, which I has not seen before. Lastly, we got to sample three types of txakoli and have a few local snacks with them. We were very happy with this tour and recommend it very highly!

This was a fantastic way to spend part of the day and learn so much about the region! The views on the drive were fantastic and the guide was very knowledgable! The vineyard tour itself was so enjoyable and the wine was amazing. My only wish is that we'd had a chance to purchase wine while there!

Great tour guide. Nice mix of seeing the surrounding areas of San Sebastián with a local wine tour. You don’t get to try a huge variety of wines but it’s a good introduction into wine tasting.

Our tour guide was very nice and helpful. She drove us around the city and told us about it while making sure the car temperature was comfortable. She walked us through the city and showed us beautiful views and explained the history - in English. The winery was beautiful, and the owner gave us a personal tour while our tour guide translated. We greatly enjoyed this personal experience and can not wait to do it again. It is well worth the price and more.
