Before the tour, we were slightly intimidated going into the busy bars on our own, not really knowing how to order, or what to order and this was an absolutely wonderful introduction into the world of pintxos. Christina, our guide was really knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was exceptional. I don't eat meat, but was catered for brilliantly. The small group was the perfect size to grab a table at a bar, and the amount of food and drink was great. I would absolutely recommend.

Excellent food tour with Mattin! Would highly recommend. It was very interesting to learn about the Basque Region and the food was delicious! Martin was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave us great recommendations.
Excellent tour of San Sebastián with our lovely guide Gorka. Learnt so much about the local history and food, as well as traditional wine and cider. Would highly recommend.
Enjoyable evening with four couples. New foods and drinks to try. History of old town area and history of the different foods. Guide was patient, informative and kept us on schedule.
Lots of fun, great food and drinks. Our guide Jose was a great guy full of knowledge, entertaining and we enjoyed his company .

Gorka was an amazing tour guide. Besides delicious pintxos and wine, we also got to learn some history about Basque. Our small group was just the right size as well.
Lily was an excellent guide introducing us to the pintxos culture for our first night in San Sebastian. Fun group, just the right amount of food, cider, wine, culminating in the fabulous basque cheesecake. Thank you again!! Cheers!

Gorka was great, highly recommended… he lead a fantastic food tour with information on history and local language added in as well. He took his time, answered all questions and went out of his way to make it a wonderful experience for all. So glad we booked his tour.
Great way to first explore pintxos, to know what’s good, and get some historical background before you explore the food scene for yourself. Took around ~3 hours. The guide was great!
Gorka was phenomenal with the tour. The places and knowledge he had made it very much worth it. It wasn't just good but history too. I loved all the food places we went to
It was a fantastic tour, made so by our guide Sandra. She really connected with all the people on the tour. We had some delicious Pinchos at various stops in beautiful San Sebastián. Would highly recommend!
We were fortunate enough to have a private tour of Pamplona by an extremely knowledgeable ‘tenth century knight’, Phillipe …in traditional costume. He was interesting and delivered his story with humour. He even demonstrated his fine voice by singing a traditional Basque ballad. The tour took us around the walled city of Pamplona, stopping to point out notable things and included social a political history in an interesting manner. My husband and I would highly recommend this tour.
We really enjoyed learning about the different foods from this area, especially the different types of ham. It is truly a food tour, not a lot of history about the area.
Begonia was a great tour guide. We had fun learning about the local culture and trying the different pintxos. Highly recommend!

If you are in San Sebastian during peak season the ONLY way your are going to get into some of these pintxo bars is via this tour. Absolutely worth it to not have to stand in line

This was an extremely disappointing experience. We paid approximately $150 per person for this food tour, and despite arriving before the scheduled 11:30 a.m. start (at 11:28 a.m.), we were unable to find the meeting point or the group. We searched the area in heavy rain and saw no guide, no sign, and no obvious tour group.
We immediately contacted Viator for assistance, but they were unable to connect us with the guide while the tour was starting. By the time we realized we weren’t going to find the group, it was too late.
For a premium-priced tour, I expected much better communication and customer support. There should be a grace period or a reliable way to reach the guide if guests are having difficulty locating the meeting point. Losing the entire cost over a situation like this is unreasonable.
I also question whether the price reflects the value. Pintxos in San Sebastián generally cost only a few euros each, so the tour’s value depends heavily on the guide and the overall experience. Unfortunately, because we were unable to join despite arriving before the start time and receiving no effective assistance, we received no value for the amount we paid.
I cannot recommend this tour based on my experience.
Wonderful small group bike tour; we got to explore places a bit further away, which allowed us to see much more of the city. Good pace and excellent guide
Meander for a couple of hours guided through the busy pinchos area of the city. The knowledgable guide offered us pinchos we would never have thought to order, but they were all good. Nice small group
Mattin was a great guide and showed us many great pintxos. He was very knowledgeable and you could tell had a great love for the city.
Mila gave us a passionate and knowledgeable tour explaining the history of San Sebastián and pintxos. Very structured tour with visits to generation old restaurants and Mila chose a set of pintxos that basically went from a s starter to dessert without giving too much away so you can go and learn for yourself. Recommended.

The group we were with were all interesting and fun but our guide Christina was fantastic and made everyone on the tour get involved.
The tour was over 100 euro to sign up. An address was given. Gave myself plenty of time to get there however Google maps took me way beyond the spot and anyone I asked for help with directions did not speak English which is ok. Btw, locals do not recognize the address. I went out of the way. A nice policeman directed me to the correct spot which I had passed a while ago. Ran back. Asked more cops for help when I got to location and they struggled to find the address but finally discovered it was right across the street. Crossed the street. Two tour guides there. It was about 6:10 when I arrived and explained the problem. Your guide not at all sympathetic. Did not expect my tour to wait but thought with all my contact info they had maybe they would reach out and let me know where to meet up. No dice. Other tour guides, same company, would not accept me on their tours. Suggested I try to catch up with the 6 pm tour but could not be for sure they would be at a certain destination. I had already walked 6.5 miles so wasn’t going to wander around on foot any more. I did call the guide contact number on my ticket when I realized I had reached the wrong location but no one answered. Sent an email to the company after but still have not heard back. Shared this experience with other tour guides this morning who led a walking tour I was on. They thought it coukd have been handled more humanely ’. Their words. I agree. Obviously cannot recommend this tour company for their inability to pivot and accommodate one person at such a steep price. Answering the contact info would have been a good start.

Lily was a wonderful guide. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food tour. We went to 5 spots, many of which were on our list of must tries! All of the spots were locally owned and often very busy, so being able to jump right to the front and try some of the most incredible pinxtos was well worth it!
Our guide was very knowledge and accommodating to our many food limitations. It was a great experience!
