Fantastic Walking Tour around this beautiful city with Darya. My daughter & I had a really fun & interesting time & Darya was a knowledgeable guide & excellent company. We finished the tour with delicious wine & pintxos. I had booked this tour by mistake in Spanish, however as we were the only ones booked on the tour the company kindly said it could be changed to English. A perfect way to start our trip.
The tour leader gave good background information about Donostia and its culture and answered all questions.
We took this tour with Ana, who is quite well versed in history. It was a fascinating 2 hours! It's a highly relaxed pace so would be easy for someone with limited interest or ability in walking.
Terrible directions to meeting spot. We got there 20 minutes early but couldn’t find the spot. Almost missed the tour. Only found it after 3 calls to company who pinned us. Tour was very nice but we really didn’t see much.
Hamish was delightful. The tour was such fun! We loved all the food/drink provided as well as the fellow walkers. We have no personal food restrictions but others on the tour did. They were easily accommodated. It was a delightful day worth every penny! Highly recommended.

This is a good tour when you want to know the history of San Sebastián. It is a walking tour to different parts of the city. It ends in the old town at a pincho bar. It’s not a pincho tour.
Ibeth was an amazing guide and fluent in English.. Great pace and very family friendly even if you have youn kids. Definitely recommended if you want a simple tour and taste of pinxtos.
Our group of six had a wonderful time on our walking tour of San Sebastián with Iker! Right from the very start, he welcomed us and made us feel at home. It is so clear that Iker loves his city deeply. He shared his knowledge with so much excitement and true passion. On top of that, he was funny and made sure everyone in our group was comfortable and happy the entire time. If you are planning a trip to San Sebastián, we highly recommend booking a tour with Iker!
I have done many tours over 30+ years of traveling. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. There were several things that led me to this conclusion. The tour guide was difficult to understand. On multiple stops, he chose to try to talk to us where there were loud construction noises nearby. Difficult to hear. On several of our stops when we could’ve been in the shade, we stopped in direct sunlight, and it was a hot day. This was uncomfortable for several of the members of the group. When we would walk throughout the city, our guide would often walk very quickly, leaving the group behind. He made a little effort to talk with anyone during the walks. At one point, he crossed the street against a red traffic signal, causing cars to honk their horns at us. Maybe most importantly, his demeanor was rather unpleasant. I don’t think he smiled at all throughout the tour, and his stories were short, disjointed, and hard to follow. This could’ve been because of difficulty with language, i’m not sure. I had higher expectations for this tour. Walking tours like this are often wonderful, enlightening experiences. Unfortunately, this tour was not one of those, and I would not recommend it.
Not only was Francisco an amazing tour guide, but he also gave great recommendations for pinxos and drinks in the area. We’ve been steadily working our way through his list since we finished our tour this morning. Definitely worth doing if you have an interest in the history and culture of the city and Basque region!

Our tour guide Carlos was extremely knowledgeable, conscientious and very fun! He took into account that it was unseasonably hot today and looked for ways to keep to the shade while still showing us all the local sites and sharing the history of the city.
Nora was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable full of history and culture! Wouldn’t recommend taking a bilingual tour, preferably one language…
If you have just arrived in San Sebastián, this is a quick, little introduction. There are no stops at any bars/pinxtos places. Perhaps I read the tour description incorrectly.
Excellent tour! Highly recommend for those interested in history and culture. Fabian was exceptional. There was a mix of couples and solo travelers. We did a fair bit of walking. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes (waterproof if it may rain) and layers for weather changes. The pinxtos at the end was exceptional!
We had a really enjoyable morning tour with Iker, he is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who gave us lots of helpful information. We really enjoyed the tour and of course the excellent pintxos and Txakoli at the end. Also thanks Iker for the local food recommendations, we tried them all and they were excellent.
The walking tour was a great way to learn about the history of the city, the culture and to see some of the historic sites. It was also very helpful for recommendations for places to eat to experience some of the local cuisine.
Johnathan was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide and spoke perfect English. He did a great job- BUT the tour was advertised as a small group tour with optional drink and food at the end. Our group was 20 people and there was no discussion about food.
Great tour and guide was very knowledgeable. I accidentally booked this in Spanish instead of English but both the guide and her assistant were great. Google translate helped of course but the duo were very apologetic for my mistake and didn’t detract from the experience

A lovely tour of San Sebastián! Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, and provided great historical and architectural information. And the pintxos and wine were a great way to end the tour! We only had a few hours in town, and it was a perfect way to spend them.

Requested a tour in English. Guide spoke with a very heavy accent and her English wasn’t very good. All of us on the tour had no idea what she was saying.
