What are people saying about San Sebastian

Our tour guide Carlos was...
Our tour guide Carlos was extremely knowledgeable, conscientious and very fun! He took into account that it was unseasonably hot today and looked for ways to keep to the shade while still showing us all the local sites and sharing the history of the city.

Honestly one of the most...
Honestly one of the most magical experiences I’ve ever had in San Sebastián 🥹
I missed my original boat tour yesterday due to uber not showing, and they kindly let me come the next day without any hassle, which already meant so much to me.
The whole experience felt unreal: beautiful views of the coast and sunset, cava on board, amazing music, lovely storytelling and explanations, polaroids, cozy blankets when it got cold… everything was done with so much care and atmosphere.
You can really feel how much love these two people put into what they do. Truly one of the highlights of my trip. Thank you! 🤍

Best pintxo tour in San seb!
This is a great pintxo tour of San Sebastián! Our tour guide was Gorka, he’s a local, and you could really tell. No, this tour won’t hit the top 3 pintxo bars you’ll see on Instagram but that’s the point - we discovered places we might not have walked into otherwise. Super worth the $ as well as far as food and drinks.

Excellent (5/5)
The food was amazing, and I left fully satisfied with everything.
Kai was one of the best guides I’ve ever had, and I’ve been on quite a few food/walking tours in my travels. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and extremely charming.
I would gladly join another tour (or cooking class) that I knew he was leading.

Have some fun with Go Local!
We had the best time with Alain. Throughout our stay, we have had locals/guides say that the people of San Sebastián go by the philosophy of “live life and have fun”. Today the day started with hail and we ALMOST didn’t go on the tour, and I’m so glad we decided to just say “go for it”…because we had the best day. The tour was small, the rain cleared up quickly, and we got some beautiful sun. Alain gave us some history, gave some recommendations for food spots, and even took us to a place we could play their version of hand ball (Esku Pilota or Basque Pilota). The tour felt personalized and we learned some basque phrases. One person got a flat tire and Alain was able to show off his expert skills at fixing the bike quickly…he kept each member of the tour safe! All the staff in the office were super friendly, responsive, and kept my bag safe when I forgot it 🙃. Highly recommend!

Ask for Gonzalo!!!
Gonzalo was hands down the best tour guide we’ve ever had. The group was small, which allowed us to move around and occupy space comfortably. He had a sense of humor and kept us engaged and laughing. He adapted the food choices even when I wasn’t expecting him to, going the extra mile to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their time. He also provided additional recommendations after the tour for us to explore the city more on our own. He truly cares about the guests he is working with and wants to create an experience everyone will remember. If he wasn’t taking a day off tomorrow we would book another to explore more! The group had so much fun, we continued hanging out afterwards!

Nice tour!
We went on a guided tour from San Sebastián to Hondarribia, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. Our guide provided us with interesting insights into Basque culture and history. However, it’s important to note that the tour involves moderate walking. Throughout our tour, we were guided through the streets, where our guide explained stories about the architecture and historic buildings. One very important point to mention is that the price of the tour changes depending on the booking date. The price listed on the title is not accurate. We had booked 125 per person instead of the correct price of 66 per person. It’s essential for the tour organizers to rectify this discrepancy so that customers are charged the correct amount.

French. Basque Seaside
This was a wonderful tour to the French basque coastal towns. I tour guide Alby was very informative and knowledgeable. Giving us little facts of history along the away. Biarritz, Bayonne & St. Jean de Luz are very charming little towns. A very short drive from San Sebastián. Went at the end of April and there were no crowds. Highly recommend this tour.

Bucket list
Paul, our tour guide and driver, provided exceptional service. He catered to our needs, ensuring our comfort throughout the journey. When my wife forgot her phone at the hotel, Paul kindly took us back to retrieve it. His extensive knowledge made the trip truly enjoyable. The breathtaking view from San Juan de Gaztelugatxe was well worth the hike. We also savored the delicious food in La Palma, Bilbao. The Guggenheim Museum is a must-visit attraction. Overall, we highly recommend this tour. Cheers to Paul! 🥂

Excellent city tour, highly recommended!
If you want to know about the city, beyond the touristy casco viejo, this tour is for you.
We had a great tour guide Andoni, who was attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly.
We visited the city at the time of the marathon, so a lot of streets were closed. He reached out ahead of time and rearranged the time of the tour to the afternoon, which was very helpful.
It is a beautiful city, which has a lot to offer. Be prepared to walk a lot, which is totally worth it!

Informative & Enjoyable Wine Tastings in Rioja
Our tour guide Andoni is very well versed and knows the San Sebastián-Donastia and Rioja areas very well as he grew up here. The wineries we visited were very good - Andoni picked them well. We bought many wines and look forward to their arrival at home. Andoni is a good story teller and kept us very engaged on the drive to Rioja, then let us sleep on the return after tasting many wines and having lunch in La Guardia. The perfect guide!! We highly recommend this tour, and Andoni as your guide.

Nice view of San Sebastián
This was a beautiful boat ride to a small island just off San Sebastián. Well worth 8 euros for a couple of hours of entertainment. The boat ride over was about 25 minutes. We walked around the small island for a bit and then took the next boat back. We had fabulous weather. Definitely worth it on a beautiful day.
