This was one of the best experiences we have done in San Sebastián. It was the best way to explore the area. Our guide P was a local and was very passionate about San Sebastián. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We had an awesome day and would definitely recommend this tour to others. It’s a must.

Excellent tour. The entire staff at Go Local are very friendly, helpful and outgoing. We covered a lot of territory and a lot of history. I enjoyed this so much I have recommended this tour to two groups of friends. We went back the next day to rent bikes to do a self-guided tour.

I highly recommend this bike tour around the perimeter of San Sebastián. Colton was our very knowledgeable guide with Basque heritage. We stopped to public art, architecture, and he gave historical context and information about this gorgeous town. We were in the pouring rain and it was pretty chilly and yet, I would absolutely do this again in the same circumstances. Thank you for the memorable tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic tour of the city. Our guide was friendly and informative. We felt like we saw all of the city including areas we would have never seen on foot. A great way to spend your morning or afternoon in San Sabastian.

Such an amazing tour, learnt so much about San Sebastián and learning from a local made it even better! Our guide Colten was knowledgable, friendly and engaging! Our group threw question after question his way and he always had an excellent response! At the end of the tour he was even kind enough to share some of his local recommendations specific to the area we were staying at! (We tried them for lunch and were all delicious!) great route that feels long enough to take in the whole city without leaving you too tired! The mix of conversation about the history of the city and present time was well balanced and the visual aids carried by Colten made it even more interactive. Thanks again for a great ride! Love from

I’ve taken 3 e bike tours in Spain. Each has been great. This one was my favorite. Alain taught those who had not used e-bikes what to do, he was passionate about his Basque upbringing and his community. He was inclusive and interested in all the riders. The ride was easy. Go Local is the name of his company and he offers other bike tours as well as services and ideas of itineraries around the Basque region

The best way to see San Sebastián in such a small amount of time! The best guide with the best snippets of this amazing place. We took away so much knowledge about Basque country, the language, culture and history. Our guide even recommended hidden gems, places to eat and cool bars that were tucked away. Excellent way to be introduced to San Sebastián. In 3 hours we stopped at most of the high points. Cycling on the e-bikes was very easy. Our guide Colton was very knowledgeable and willingly shared his tips for places to eat and to explore further.

Pelayo (a Basque, born in San Sebastian who spoke perfect English) of "Go Local San Sebastian" was a terrific guide who showed us all around this beautiful city, both the tourist areas and the various neighborhoods with their own local feel. At each stop, he would talk about the place and/or the view from the place, and always how it related to Spanish and Basque history. He was funny, engaging and happy to answer any questions we might have. What a fabulous trip!

Be sure to follow all bike riding rules and instructions given prior to your start. The divided bike lanes can seem slim, so mind your space. The most enjoyable part of our tour was the education on the Basque region and San Sebastián from our guide Allain.

Excellent bike tour and so glad we did it on Day 1 of our trip. Alain is one of the co-owners of the business and a really fun guide, sharing lots of interesting information (and strong opinions from a local) about Basque history, culture, and customs. The route covered a diverse range of landmarks and vantage points of the city (skipping only Old Town, where bikes aren’t allowed, and Centro area, where he suggested walking would be better to appreciate the buildings). Alain’s English was easy to understand, and he offered lively stories with interactive questions at each point. He welcomed our own questions throughout, and frequently asked our group questions back to make it feel more like a conversation. We learned about the background of the city, its neighborhoods, people, food, politics, sports, education, and more! The bikes were in good shape and easy to ride for guests of all ages and biking abilities, and Alain kept us confident and safe in navigating the sometimes busy bike lanes. Didn’t feel tiring at all and seemed the right amount of time to cover so much ground. Looking forward to our walking tour with the same operator to dive deeper into Old Town and Centro. Thanks, Alain and GoLocal for the trip and local resto recommendations.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our E bike tour! Our tour guide (who asked us to call him “P”) was amazing!! He spoke perfect English… and was quite funny and engaging!
In our three hours together, we were able to see not only the major highlights of the city, but districts that we wouldn’t have seen on our own. We rode through a really long tunnel in the city that was an exciting experience… we didn’t even know it existed!!
We felt so safe having our tour guide lead us through the bike lanes throughout the city. The bikes for wonderful!!! I’ve done many bike tours before, but as a short woman, I’ve always found the bikes to be very big and overwhelming for me. These bikes were so manageable! It was my friend’s first experience on an e-bike and she was very comfortable.
After the tour, our leader took his time and went out of his way to make recommendations for restaurants, attractions, things to do, and even helped us plan a day trip to Biarritz.
The office was very easy to locate. We would highly recommend this tour.!!!
