- The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
- Each traveler is allowed a maximum of 1 suitcase and 1 small carry-on bag. Oversized or excessive luggage (e.g. surfboards, golf clubs or bikes) may have certain restrictions, please inquire with the operator prior to travel to confirm if your excess luggage is acceptable
- One hour waiting time on international arrivals, after that, there is a charge for waiting time. We do accept major credit cards, and do not insist on cash payments. Receipts are provided upon requested
- Service animals allowed
- Child seats are required for children 8 and under by law and and not provided by the local supplier
- When selecting a vehicle size, please consider the storage capacity for luggage based on number of passengers. For larger groups with larger items, multiple vehicles may be more appropriate

We have always had a good experience with this company. The vehicles are roomy, drivers are nice and drive carefully, they load and unload your luggage from the vehicle, they are timely, and they accommodate changes in schedules, even last minute ones. I can’t say enough good about this limo service. And, Nader, our driver, was such a nice man.

We had a 50/50 experience with Carmel Car Service booked through Viator for our San Francisco trip. When we arrived in San Fran, the driver was on time, pleasant and helpful. Good experience. However, for our town car service from the cruise terminal back to SFO, the communication was horrible. I called dispatch and spoke with them twice. The first time to inform that we were outside (at least 30 minutes early - our choice) and what "pole" number we were standing by. The second time, I called dispatch when the driver was 10 minutes late. I was told he hit traffic. When the driver arrived 25 minutes late, he said the driver that was to pick us up was in an accident - which we did not believe. Dispatch, I'm sure would have told us. We were very disappointed and won't book this service again.

We booked a private car to the airport with Carmel Limo through Viator. No sign of driver 10 minutes before pickup time. Called Carmel, was on hold for over 5 minutes. Agent said he had to transfer us to dispatch. over 5 minutes of hold time again, agent answered, but was not a dispatch agent. Wanted to put us on hold again. At this point, we gave up and called an Uber. When we left the hotel 20 minutes after scheduled pickup time, there was still no Carmel driver. Ridiculous wait times on the phone only to receive zero help or service.

Transfer from hotel to airport process went smoothly, in stark contrast to a transfer from San Francisco Airport to our hotel. Pick up time from the hotel was confirmed the day before as per company requirements. But why? Booking made with a specific pick up time and place in the first place. Anyway, driver arrived on time and journey to the airport completed with no issues. Pity the same couldn't be said about the process linked to pick up from the airport.

Communication was great. Driver was on time at the hotel for pickup. The only reason I don't give a 5 star is because I was informed that Toll was not included and that I needed to pay cash. I found that outrageous that after paying $126USD it didn't include the toll. I know the confirmation said tolls were not included if taken but didn't seem to have an option not to take the toll. In my opinion, if there is no way to avoid the toll or to give the customer the option to avoid the toll, then it should be part of the price.

The driver was there early which was great but then told my daughter we owed another $60 after I had been dropped off for my flight. We were in 2 different terminals. She didn’t pay it but I wasn’t happy he asked for it. I had already paid $80 for the two of us.
