Great tour to start your trip to Rio. Short walk to different bars, all with different vibes and great food. Variety of food and drinks, not everything is fried and I really appreciated that. I Recommend to do it when you arrive to Rio because the tour guide will give you a lot of good information and recommendations for the rest of your trip. It was a small group so you’ll have opportunity to talk with everyone, make friends and experience other cultures. The tour guide Murillo is great! He gives you the locals experience and talks about the history of the city and Brazilian culture in a fun way (in perfect English). Everything we ate was delicious. Great for solo travelers to meet other people and explore the not so touristy parts of the city in a safe way. Overall a great experience and would 100% recommend!

This was such a fun evening out, and the perfect introduction to Rio on our first night visiting there. We had a great group who were all out-going and got along very nicely. Highly recommend as a fun way to acclimated to Rio!

An excellent experience for curious and adventurous travelers who want to enjoy a local cultural exploration. Murillo, our guide was knowledgeable, fun and clearly showed his passion for Rio’ local bar and food scene. We sampled multiple drinks and award winning bar/bistro foods - all very unique and tasty. If you want a fun, enlightening and custom drinking and culinary experience - then this excursion is for you. If you are boring and predictable - then eat at one of the many cliche tourist sites.

This was a truly authentic experience that was very enjoyable! Murillo is a highly knowledgeable and engaging guide. He shared a lot of great knowledge about local history, culture and traditions. He prepared a very well curated itinerary that was fantastic and gave us a good window into local life and the bars we visited.

We had a great evening visiting 4 different places for food and drink. Each spot was different and unique. We would have never found these spots on our own. It was great to eat and drink with the locals.

Definitely recommend. Got to experience the local foods and drinks from places that have been part of the city for a long time. Murillo is a fantastic guide and got our group comfortable together immediately. Also plenty of food and drinks.

What an amazing tour! Guide was great and so accommodating. My friend was a vegetarian and he went out of his way to make sure there were dishes for her to enjoy. Recommend to anyone who wants an authentic food experience and good drinks.

A great guide! Murillo took us around several bars in Copacabana and introduced us to a lot of local dishes.
He explained a lot about how the bar scene in Rio is, and was an awesome host! He is a nice guy and I would give him my highest opinion.
If you are looking to try different local dishes, stories about Rio, and a good time drinking I would definitely choose this tour! He was also super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and bars, other than the ones we went to.

Murillo Was an excellent guide. He made us feel like we were friends more than clients. He showed us around copacabana all the local spots. We mingled with some of the locals and ate and drank in parts of the neighborhood where we never thought to go. 10/10 highly recommend this tour to anyone who is thinking of it. Will give you a different perspective of Rio.

Had such a great time on this food tour! The guide was awesome super friendly and shared a lot of cool local stories. It felt really authentic, like we were getting a glimpse of the real city , not just the touristy spots. Great vibe, great group, and just a really fun experience overall. This is our second time going on this tour with Murillo. We would highly recommend! It’s an easy way to try so many new foods and drinks in a new city. It’s a small group so really a personal night out making new friends and experiencing a new culture together. It’s curated to have the best bar foods and alcoholic drinks at specific places. We did this tour in Rio last year, and we knew when we came back this time that this was the number one tour we would book again. You won’t be disappointed! We had a great time both times on this tour.

Loved this tour. The creator of this tour is the guide and is genuinely passionate about the food scene in Rio. Great guy, great sense of humor, great perspective, just a great tour. The food was awesome two of the 4 restaurants we were taken to I knew about from a local, you're going to try some incredible stuff. This is bar food, snack food but we'll balanced with meat, pastels, seafood, etc. I also rec doing this tour day 1 of your trip bc he will point you in the right direction for anything youre looking to do, ie nightlife, restaurants in specific areas, etc.

This tour is one you do not want to miss . The food and drink are top notch and you will also meet amazing people along the way. Murillo provides you a local experience and takes you to where locals eat and drink. What more could you ask for? Each location offered unique food experiences, and drinks to quench your thirst. As we walk the city, Murillo offers fun facts about the city and interesting details about Brazilian culture. The drinks and food, of course are the main draw, but to me one of the best things about the tour was the genuine human connection I made with locals and people from other parts of the world. I highly recommend this tour. Bring your high energy and curiosity - you will love the conversation that sparks over food and drinks!

I only had one real night in Rio, last day of a long Brazil trip. It was a lot of fun. Good food, good drinks, cool dude. A satisfying way to end my trip to Brazil. I'd say that if you're not the partying type it's a good way to get a little normal nightlife in where you wake up normal in the morning.

Really fun experience. Murillo is a true Carioca and will show you a proper night out in Copacabana. Each stop, we had a drink and a dish that you could only find in Rio. Great tour.

Do not miss this Rio bar and food tour if you are looking for a way to see Rio like a local. The tour was perfect with 4 stops to sample food and drink at bustling local restaurants. Mulrillo was a fantastic guide answering all of our questions about Rio and sharing great conversation throughout the evening.

Great 1st night in Rio with Murillo introducing us to the food and drinks of Rio….the marinated garlic cloves were a huge surprise and tasted amazing! We visited 4 bars that we would never have experienced otherwise, with Murillo explaining the history of each one. A friend of Murillo’s, Gabriel joined us part way through and walked us back to our hotel, which he wasn’t obliged to do. Would definitely recommend this tour.

This was such a great introduction to the food and drink of Rio. Not only was Murillo very knowledgable on the cuisine, he also had a good knowledge of the history of Brazil which made for a very interesting evening. There were only 2 of us on the tour so it made for a much more intimate and personal experience. Give Murillo a booking, you won't regret it!!

A great tour. Wholly engaging and fun. We were a small group of 6 people from different countries but Murillo ensured we gelled really well. We visited 4 bars and enjoyed local delicacies and drinks which I would have been unaware of without the tour. At the end of the night, Murillo ensured all went home safely. He was a great guide and I strongly recommend this tour. Special thanks also to Gabriel for showing us back to the hotel which he was not obliged to do.

As a solo female traveler, this was one of the best ways I was able to get a real taste of Rio! Our guide was fun, charismatic and so so knowledgeable. The food was AMAZING, the stories kept us laughing and the drinks were consistently delicious! I would’ve never seen these neighborhoods and bars without this tour! 10/10 - book it, you wont regret it! Also - go earlier in your trip! It’ll be a great way to get more recommendations!
