Itinerary

Your tour begins with pickup at your Rio de Janeiro hotel, where you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle reserved for your private party. As you begin a panoramic tour of the Marvelous City, so-called for its colorful culture, your guide offers insight into the history and culture of Rio de Janeiro.

Visit highlights such as Maracana Stadium, where the opening match of the 1950 World Cup was hosted, and the metropolitan Rio de Janeiro Cathedral. See, too, the Sambradrome, which hosts the spectacular Rio Carnival, and gain local insight into downtown Rio.

Then, city tour complete, head to Sugar Loaf Mountain and board a cable car destined for the summit. Reigning supreme over the city, the iconic natural landmark offers incredible views of Ipanema and Copacabana Beach.

Disembark at the first stop to purchase snacks from a café and then complete the journey to the top. Your guide informs you of the mountain’s significance in Brazilian culture before you complete the return journey down the mountain and back to your hotel.

great tour

Gui was really great guide. Knows everything about history, sigts, giving help with translation etc.... And has great music choice in the car :)

Top guide for Sugarloaf especially for disabled.

Carlos was excellent! I wanted to take him home with me. Very knowledgeable, passionate and easy to listen to about the history, politics and developments of Rio. I am slightly disabled and Carlos was empathtic and knew all the short cuts/disabled access to the top. If we had gone on our own we would have made a mess of it as the staff at Sugarloaf were nice but not particularly informative and directional. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and fully recommend a good tour guide to help learn and find the easy routes up.

Fantastic and fun day

What a fantastic and fun day! Guilherme was my guide and he was great. Good communication. Timely. I used Jurema as interpreter. GUI hired her. Between the two, you could not ask for more. Sugarloaf is a place you must see and experience.

This was perfect tour for us, a group of 5 people Note that the price reflects group price. We wanted short city tour with more time at Sugarloaf including Sunset. The owner/Guide accommodated our request. The pickup was on time. That day it was very hot in Rio. Vehicle was very comfortable and clean. The city tour included whatever we wanted to see in city and some of the must see attractions, recommended by owner/guide. Guide was English speaking and knowledgeable. The tour indicates that it is without queues, but two days before they will write to ask you to buy the fast track tickets. That is, it is not included in the tour price. We asked for a Spanish-speaking guide and when he arrived, he could barely say 4 words in Spanish. We lost more than 1 hour on tour, waiting for the guide to park... and a good time later waiting for her to buy some hawainas for her son!!! Amazing... Finally, the guide left us alone at the foot of the ceramic stairs, without giving us any explanation of its history and went to a parking lot. A great disappointment
