An inexpensive uber ride can get you to this site for sunrise photos with reliable timing. Event was for 4:30am start time but guide changes had him arrive after sunrise.

Thales was an excellent guide and photographer. Even though the tour and visit to Dona Marta was very early in the morning, it was definitely worth it for the view and experience. Watching the sun come up gave us a new and different perspective of Rio and its attractions.
