Good tour - the guide was hard to understand

The sights on the tour were great and I enjoyed the tour and the transfer between- and it was great that the tour was done even though we were just 2 participants. But the guide was quite hard to understand when he spoke in English when he picked me up for the tour, but when we arrived to Botanical Garden he took some medicine and after that I was unable to understand him for the most of the tour - he talked like he was drunk, and fell asleep on the way back from the tour. It was a shame as I actually had the impression that he knew a lot about the city and the sights. But as it was I might as well just have visited the sights on my own.

Our guide was informative. We enjoyed Parc Lage and the Botanical Garden. We were able to see two different types of monkeys, and many beautiful plants.

Should not be missed! Parque Lage was a hidden gem where we saw monkeys and a very cool man-made grotto, along with beautiful vegetation. Recommend binoculars for the Botanic Garden if you want to see the wildlife - most are quite small. Our guide was excellent as well.

there were no tours. At first the meeting was postponed for an hour and later he wrote that the guide would not come because he got sick. We were damaged for half a day.

We had a mixed experience on this tour, our guide Monica was amazing really knowledgeable and a saving grace. When we booked the tickets it didn't state anywhere we wouldn't get in to Parque Lage but when we arrived you cannot visit without pre booking, which you need to do a week in advance. So we only really saw the outside and the gardens which I would recommend but maybe not on this particular tour as its pretty expensive when you don't get the ticket price included

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. You were informed at the time of your reservation that Parque Lage works by appointment. On the day you wished to take the tour, there were no more spaces for scheduling. You did not have another date for the tour and therefore it was not possible to visit Parque Lage. We hope you return soon, this time we hope to be able to offer everything as agreed.
