Overview

Discover the UNESCO-listed Tijuca National Rainforest and famous Christ the Redeemer Statues on a small-group hiking tour. Start the moderate 6.2-mile (10-km) hike at Lage Park, at the base of Corcovado Mountain, with your guide, who navigates so you don't have to worry about getting lost. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
Recommendations: wear light clothing and hiking shoes, bring a small backpack with water, snacks, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, cap or hat, sunglasses, cash for tickets and extras.

Hike length: 10 km / 6,2 miles (round trip / total).
The ticket to access the statue only can be purchased upon arrival at the top, in the park's ticket office. Not sold in advance.
Pickups outside these areas (South Zone of Rio) will have an additional charge.
Pickup times vary by location and will be shared a few days before via WhatsApp or email. Please wait in the lobby.

Empezamos en el parque Lage y el guía me llevo a sitios de interés antes de empezar la subida al Cristo. Pude ver unos minutos y al escurridizo perezoso xD. Hubo partes empinadas, pero con calma y sin apuro se llegó a la cima. Al llegar a la cima, tomar fotos y comer un poco antes de hacer la bajada. La bajada muchísimo más fácil :)
