STAY AWAY - Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Aggressive.

This was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve had while traveling. I originally booked a shared boat tour, and everything seemed fine at first. But after I paid through Viator, the operator tried to push me into switching to a private tour, then demanded a much higher price than what was originally agreed upon. When I questioned the new amount, they tried to charge me even more by manipulating exchange rates and adding hidden fees through PayPal. I showed clear proof of what I had already paid and what was actually due, based on their own pricing. Instead of correcting it, they became aggressive, dismissive, and even accused me of fraud simply for doing the math and for clarity and making sure they don’t cheat me. They also threatened to charge a “captain fee” after canceling — even though I had clearly stated I was willing to pay the correct remaining balance. Their tone turned threatening and rude, trying to intimidate me into paying more than I owed. Fortunately, I saved the entire chat and submitted everything to Viator for review. Do not book with this operator. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and use pressure tactics to push customers into paying more after booking. I do not recommend this tour or company to anyone. Save your money and avoid the stress.

Not the best speedboat tour experience

We didn't have the best experience. The tour is advertised as an English tour but there is no commentary regarding the sights nor did the guide engage in any way with the travellers. Basically, the boat takes you around the bay and stops in two places for everyone to have a swim but that's pretty much it. The tour was also advertised as three hours - but we started half an hour late and ended half an hour early. It was nice to see Rio from the water but I wouldn't recommend this particular tour - especially if you are looking for a guided tour.

Captain antonio was super friendly, i loved the speed boat trip, we stopped at 2 spots and had a nice swim and we had a chance to take amazing photos as the boat moved in different angles revealing the magical beauty of rio de janeiro.

Great views of Rio de Janeiro from the water. Swimming was fun out by the islands. Good opportunity to meet and chat with other travelers. Cold beers included on the tour were a nice bonus too.

The boat trip was relaxing, informative, and quite pleasant. Our skipper, Ricardo, was great. He had the right balance of telling us what we were looking at, and staying quiet so we could enjoy the ride. I saw no info that indicated we could swim from the boat if we wore a suit, so we were unprepared. (Not a big problem as we're not big swimmers; just a point for other travelers.) I was amused that the beer we were offered was Budweiser. As an American, it made me laugh because I expected a local brew. We enjoyed the ride, and the unique perspective of Rio from the water.

Not great value for money

All the comments about the views etc are true - Rio is beautiful and it was wonderful to see familiar sites from a new angle and to visit the islands we've gazed at from the beach at Ipanema. However, at nearly 50 euros I expected something slicker. The company changed the day and then they changed the time and we were out for quite a bit less than the expected 3 hours. We also had to specifically request to go to the islands we'd booked to go to, as our guide had a different itinerary in mind. On arrival I assumed that the diving we were there to do meant masks etc would be included. I was mistaken! Also we were not offered any snacks and something would have been welcome. So I'd say yes, it's a great morning out - but overpriced and overpromised.

Não foi agradável ter que insistir em fazer o passeio comprado pois o capitão descartou logo a ida às ilhas cagarras. E não foi pelas condições do mar e clima que estavam perfeitas para o passeio. Ele não pode mudar a seu gosto a rota. Ainda mais que o pacote é ILHAS CAGARRAS! Mas ele aceitou a minha colocação e finalmente fomos até as ilhas. Mas me pareceu muito suspeito . Também não tem aquela prancha azul que está na foto, nem guia que fale inglês.
