We were notified that vehicle would be at our hotel in 10 minutes Guide gave us excellent information about the Terezin on the drive & also pointed out interesting places on our drive Everything promised for tour was done Safe driving also made trip a good experience

Place is amazing to see but our guide didn't handle the group well. She allowed others in the group to talk constantly translating for the language of that group. Made it difficult to hear.

Really enlightening experience, you get to hear all about the camp and what the reason for its use! It’s a somber experience and you get to understand what it was like for the people that experienced it. A trip into the town afterward to see the ghetto, is also very humbling.

Martín was a great and engaging tour guide. He picked me up at the exact address I was given (not such an easy task as there were multiple tours leaving from that spot & I was solo). He kept to the schedule, showed us everything to see in Terezin & kept the conversation flowing about everything from current events to favorite authors. An A++ experience all the way around.

Have change for bathroom and bring your own drinks and snacks if you think you will need them because not much option for that. Great tour packed with so much information.

Crematorium was not open that day, but guide forgot that. Guide took us through a 500 meter long narrow low, tunnel, not senior friendly. Could not get vouchers, becauseViator’s website would not allow downloads. Seatbelt broken in shuttle van that took you to the bus. Better detailed explanation of this tour should be provided before signing up.

The guide seemed disinterested and used a monotone the entire way. He mentioned his name once but made no effort to interact with our small group. His English was also difficult to follow. On the return journey he did not make any commentary or even sit in the guide seat until we had to get off. He should have given some guidance at the ghetto museum instead of just leaving us there for an hour. The museum itself was very good and the guide at the small fort was good. Overall pretty disappointed with this company

My husband and I had booked a group tour to Terezin. It ended up being a private tour. We had a driver and a very knowledgeable historian guide. A private comfortable van to take us there and back, and the tickets included for admission to the sites. Once on site, the resident guide took over showing us and telling us everything about the history. A very sad place but of course somewhere that is very important to witness and remember.

We had a wonderful day. Pavlina really knows her subject but I feel she needs to interact more. We were very fortunate to have a small group and she knew the answers to all our qurestions. Because she is probably used to bigger groups, she was rushing at first.

Seeing Terezín is important but not with this company. Our guide Dana was horrible, she read from a script and was not knowledgeable. She could not answer any questions. In addition, I paid for an English tour. They also put Germans on the same bus. The guide read one line in English then repeated it in German, back and forth, back and forth. She also ended every sentence with “you know” and “ya” it was just awful. You could barely understand her. She was more like a caretaker, but sometimes she would just stare into space, or start talking to no one. Thankfully we had a separate English speaking guide at the small fortress but we felt bad for the Germans because our guide was supposed to interpret for them but she was unable to do the job. The whole experience was very disappointing.

Great option in terms of going with a tour bus, as a tourist, the drive there via public bus would be confusing and very lengthy. Appreciated the pick-up from the hotel, driver was there early . Tour guide in the bus was knowledgeable , however , the translation to Spanish in addition to English was very annoying and long. A constant summary the entire time . This was supposed to be an English tour ! When we got there , there were many groups of people and the bus tour guide kinda left us standing there without any explanation. The tour guide for the actual small fortress was knowledgeable and answered questions , however with the language barrier, it was very hard to understand what she was saying. Supposed to have been English tour, not broken English ! Did not appreciate that because I feel I missed out on a lot of the history and descriptions of the areas we were in. A good tour but needs improvement in these areas.

IWhen visiting a place where such terrible things happened, it's hard to say it was "greatl ", of course, but our guide Tony did an excellent job. He was extremely knowledgeable as both a local and with well rounded knowledge of history. The tour was just long enough, and the museum was very good, even if the subject matter is very somber. It was also a small tour of 8, so that was definitely a bonus.

The Terezin site was fantastic but what decreased the experience was that the mini bus driver was driving way too fast- 145km/hr in the rain hoing there and 155km on the return. I didn't think I would get out alive until one passenger asked the driver to slow down. I was petrified 😪

The Tour guide did not introduce himself - I don’t even know his name. When someone spoke up about the bus microphone being muffled he said it was not his fault and when it was fixed after our first stop he unprofessionally accused the two women who complained. A dual language tour is painful which this was….plus, other than the size of Terezín and the 500m underground tunnel - not much to see. The worst tour of my two week vacation.

Tour needs to be a full day. Guide was not fit enough for the job and refused to reduce the art museum time that she was interested in to increase time on other things that she kept saying there was no time for. Tour was supposed to end at pick up point but ended nearly 2 km away leaving me to walk back and her response was to shrug her shoulders and walk off

There isn't an easy way to get to Terezin via Prague so an organized tour is a good option. I originally had booked this tour for a Tuesday but on Sunday, was contacted to say that there weren't enough people and could I reschedule for Monday instead. I was thankfully able to accommodate this change. Overall, I wish there was more time in the small fortress and that our tour guide had led us around rather than joining another group. There were four of us and we ended up having to join a tour of Swedish high school kids rather than touring around with our small group which was disappointing. Overall, I highly recommend going to this site as it's so close to Prague, but perhaps not with a tour group.
