Kind. Compassionate. Knowledgeable. Reflective. Tour guide was very sensitive while explaining this significant part of our history to my 10 year old.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate it!

Perfect tour. We got to go through the tunnels when the small fortress was built in Terezin. This is something we would not have been able to do without a tour guide. Our tour guide at the Terezin small fortress was fantastic. A wealth of information and very passionate about what she does.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thanks so much! We're happy you had such a good time!

Response from Host, Sep 2025
We’re grateful for your lovely review – thank you!
John_T, Jul 2025
The tour was disjointed. There was one guide that was with us in the coach and once we got to Terezin, there was another guide. Each of them spoke separately about each individual sites, but none of them painted the big picture.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you for your feedback! The tour includes both a travel assistant and a local guide to provide detailed insights, but we understand it could feel disjointed. We’ll work to improve it in the future!
Lane_W, May 2025
Informative and thoughtful tour of Terezín, as well as an efficient way to see the site from Prague as a half-day trip.
Michele_K, Mar 2025
Extremely moving-walking by cemeteries upon arrival set the tone. Guide presented a honest picture of life under Nazi control for relocated Jews. Horrific.
Walking in tunnels could be problematic for visitors with mobility issues.
Museum displays were powerful-a must see.
Ryan_M, Feb 2025
Excellent tour of 3 sites, informative, sad and poignant. Nikola was a brilliant guide throughout. Our 11 year old enjoyed it more than us.
Mary_D, Oct 2024
This was a very informative tour. While not a fun adventure, one w/sobering information on what Terezin used to be. Our driver was SO knowledgeable, pointing out all sorts of things from Prague to Terezin. Our tour guide at the camp was fabulous.
Louis_S, Aug 2024
The site was extremely interesting, but the tour was very badly planned and even worse done. The guide was for one hour at a very fast pace. One can tell she did not want to be there.
Unbelievable how badly the tour was planned and done even worse.
Go by yourself there in the morning and for a few $ you can get a one-on-one real professional tour from site. Allow a full day.

Great tour and informative guide around the Terezín camp. Solid knowledge on historical events, and the museum at the end shed additional light to the information heard.
Colin_S, Sep 2023
I’m a WWII buff and did not know there was a camp just outside of Prague. Found it very interesting and extremely sad. Well worth the visit and education.
Julie_D, Aug 2023
Loved it! Different story, different place and was captivated all along! Would do it again! Its a must!
Brenna_S, Jul 2023
Our guide David (English and Spanish speaking) was wonderful! His commentary was so informative, I am very glad I went on this tour.
Reuben_J, Jul 2023
The tour starts in Prague 1 via electronic check in. As you head towards the destination, you are expected to download and read about an introduction of Prague history. I thought that to be usual as I wanted to enjoy the ride and enjoy the country side scenery. When the tour operators did speak, there were a total of five languages being told so it was tedious after awhile. Once we were at camp, we were traded for a local guide who was quite good however we were grouped with yet another tour group that it became a heard of cows trying to listen in to the history of the place. The meeting point destination was not clear after the camp tour, that many of the guests wondered about finding the bus home. Our bus tour , was quite friendly and added personal touches of local flavor to the ride. If you like adventure with your tour, then this is the one for you.
Betsy_R, Jul 2023
Knowledgeable and informative guide. There were different groups on the trip so the guide spoke multiple languages. Great experience!
Rachel_W, Jun 2023
The tour guide didn’t seem to know much about the subject matter besides a few memorized facts. We spent about 10 minutes at a cemetery site. Then went to the small fortress. We then had to wait around for about 20 min for the “tour” to begin. We walked around for 1 hour with a guide and then left. We got back in about 4 hours, not 5. No free time to walk around and see anything.
Katherine_A, Apr 2023
This is very informative tour on the Terezin detention camp. The tour includes a visit to the cemetery and then the little fortress which was the political prison site in the camp. A Terezin guide takes you through the little fortress. I wish we had driven through the town side a bit more, but since it is now a restored and inhabited town, I can understand not everyone would want to see that side. The transportation was a very comfortable bus that departs from the Rudolfinum near the river.
Yigit_G, Jan 2023
The guides were very helpful I strongly recommend this tour If you are interested in World War 2 history.
Elizabeth_P, Sep 2022
The guided tour of the prison by the local guide was the highlight for us- very informative. We wish that we would have heard more about the town as we were driving through it. Our guide was sick but did not wear a mask or keep her distance.
Joshua_J, Aug 2022
The tour guide did a terrific job of explaining the story of those that ended up at Terezin. While the subject was sad the tour was informative and educational for my family.
Brad_H, Jun 2022
Martin our tour guide on the ride to Terezin was great! Provided just the right amount of information during our time together. The stories told by Martin and the guide at Terezin were hard to comprehend, but important to hear. I highly recommend this experience.
James_F, Jun 2022
Terezin is a powerful and sobering tour. Martin our guide is very informative and gets to know his tour clients.
pat_h, May 2022
ive been to poland and visited the camps there but did,nt know about terezin. so glad we visited there and were able to pay our respects to those who suffered and died. out guide was very knowledgeable and brilliant at her job.also the driver hans i think was brilliant, kept us cool with bottles of water
John_M, Apr 2022
The tour of the camp (known as the small fortress)was excellent. Martin the over-all tour guide was informative and kept it light as he could considering the subject matter. Would highly recommend

Terrific guides and driver. Tour of Terezin was excellent. Our guide thoroughly explained the different areas of Terezin, only one camp and such a dark and tragic part of world history. Everyone should see this. Highly recommend.
Response from Host, Jan 2020
