Itinerary
Your day in Prague begins with pick-up from your Prague hotel by your private guide. Depending on the tour option chosen, you’ll then set out to explore the city, either on foot or by private vehicle.
Your itinerary can be customised to suit your preferences, so perhaps start by exploring the UNESCO-listed historic center, passing monuments such as the Powder Gate, the Astronomical Clock, and the Old Town Square. Then, stroll through the Jewish Quarter, or head down to Wenceslas Square and the New Town to admire architectural gems such as the National Theatre, the New Town Hall, and the unique ‘Dancing House’.
Pose for photos on the famous Charles Bridge and take in the views along the Vltava River as you cross into the Lesser Town, then hear more about Prague’s rich history as you wander the maze-like streets and visit the legendary John Lennon Wall. Escape the crowds to walk around the hilltop Petrin Park, where you could climb the Petrin Tower for a spectacular view over the city or take a tour of the Strahov Monastery (own expense).
Make sure you don’t miss the city’s star attraction – Prague Castle, one of the world’s biggest castle complexes, where you’ll see Gothic and Renaissance masterpieces such as St Vitus Cathedral, Hradcani Castle, and the Golden Lane.
After a full day exploring Prague’s highlights, your guide will take you back to your hotel.

After some miscommunication, my husband & I were unsure of what we were going to get.
Thank you so so much Lenka for a fabulous car/walking tour. It was more than what we expected. Lenka was so accommodating to our interests & was full of knowledge.
She filled all our requests & nothing was a problem.
Great communication, her car was very clean & an all round fantastic 7hr day that went very fast.

Thomas was a fabulous guide, so educated about the history and culture of Prague. We saw many places of interest and learned so much about each one. An added plus was being able to visit the three Christmas markets. Prague is a beautiful city and one we would love to visit again.

Matej was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and fun to be around. I didn’t think I’d last the full 7 hours but it flew by and I had energy to spare. We saw so much of the city! Coffee and sweets at a cafe and an authentic lunch with locals was great! If you’re in Prague for a short time but want to see as much as you can then this tour is for you. I highly recommend! Teresa was our guide for a private walking tour of Prague. She met us at the condo where we were staying. After a few questions, she had determined what our goals and interests were for the day. She took into account that we were senior citizens and made a plan accommodating our limitations. Her stories about what we were seeing were clear and informative. Throughout the day, she checked that we were enjoying the tour. She shared her knowledge of history, of culture, of society’s interactions so that at the end of the day, we had learned so much. Matej guided us through an amazing tour of Prague. We had already seen some more popular places and he had great suggestions to complement what we already saw. He was always pointing even minor points of interest that would easily be overlooked. He also gave us several suggestions for other places to see and dine close to our hotel. Wendy was an excellent tour guide. She tailored the tour according to our needs and desires. She had a basic plan for us and adapted it on the fly. If we wanted to stay at one stop longer, it was fine with her. The added bonus was that she had a car to drive us around so that we could cover more ground in the one day we had to tour Prague. We had a terrific day with Matej! He asked about our interests to customize the tour, and stopped a number of times for great photo ops (and usually took pictures of us, which we hardly ever manage to get!). He also offered to answer questions via text if we forgot something or needed directions back to a site later. We even had a bargain lunch in a basement restaurant of real Czech food. He also taught us the rules for metro/tram passes.

Definitely saw all the sites of Prague. Our guide knew all the secret short cuts around town. Her knowledge of Prague’s history was very impressive. We also avoided most of the crowds. One thing though you need to bring snacks since there was no stopping for lunch.

Lenka was a fantastic guide. She was enthusiastic, fun, and a wealth of information on not only Prague's highlights but also some of the lesser known gems that she took us to. I have some mobility issues and she was able to get us close enough to the places that I could experience then fully, i.e., Prague Castle and Old Town that are often difficult to get to. Highly recommend this tour.
