Itinerary
Your day in Prague begins with pick-up from your Prague hotel by your private guide. Depending on the tour option chosen, you’ll then set out to explore the city, either on foot or by private vehicle.
Your itinerary can be customised to suit your preferences, so perhaps start by exploring the UNESCO-listed historic center, passing monuments such as the Powder Gate, the Astronomical Clock, and the Old Town Square. Then, stroll through the Jewish Quarter, or head down to Wenceslas Square and the New Town to admire architectural gems such as the National Theatre, the New Town Hall, and the unique ‘Dancing House’.
Pose for photos on the famous Charles Bridge and take in the views along the Vltava River as you cross into the Lesser Town, then hear more about Prague’s rich history as you wander the maze-like streets and visit the legendary John Lennon Wall. Escape the crowds to walk around the hilltop Petrin Park, where you could climb the Petrin Tower for a spectacular view over the city or take a tour of the Strahov Monastery (own expense).
Make sure you don’t miss the city’s star attraction – Prague Castle, one of the world’s biggest castle complexes, where you’ll see Gothic and Renaissance masterpieces such as St Vitus Cathedral, Hradcani Castle, and the Golden Lane.

Our guide Petr made the day so much fun and informative . Prague is such a beautiful city and we got to see the highlights ,
We could not have spent our first full day in Prague any better. On our own, it would have taken three days to see everything we saw and would not have gotten as much out of each site. We were always standing in the optimum site for viewing (for example, the changing of the guard) while throngs of tourists were bunched somewhere they thought was going to be a good spot. In addition to the guidebook recommended "must-sees" he took us to lunch at an off the beaten path restaurant in the neighborhood he grew up for an authentic Czech meal. His English was impeccable. He had an excellent sense of humor and encyclopedic knowledge of Czech history and culture. We were thrilled to have spent the day with Petr.
I highly recommend a private tour if you have specific interests and want to take time to delve into them.
Eva was an excellent guide - she was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and the country’s history. She was friendly with everyone in our family, from parents to young teenage boys, and was patient in answering every question. She was compelling not just in telling the country’s history, but also her personal experiences. We were very happy with Eva and would highly recommend a tour with her!
Klara was an amazing tour guide. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She was very flexible to spend more time in certain attractions and she was a wealth of information about all. She knows so much Czech history from past to present.

Thomas was a fabulous guide, so educated about the history and culture of Prague. We saw many places of interest and learned so much about each one. An added plus was being able to visit the three Christmas markets. Prague is a beautiful city and one we would love to visit again.

Teresa was our guide for a private walking tour of Prague. She met us at the condo where we were staying. After a few questions, she had determined what our goals and interests were for the day. She took into account that we were senior citizens and made a plan accommodating our limitations. Her stories about what we were seeing were clear and informative. Throughout the day, she checked that we were enjoying the tour. She shared her knowledge of history, of culture, of society’s interactions so that at the end of the day, we had learned so much. I would highly recommend this tour and Tereza as a guide.

Matej guided us through an amazing tour of Prague. We had already seen some more popular places and he had great suggestions to complement what we already saw. He was always pointing even minor points of interest that would easily be overlooked. He also gave us several suggestions for other places to see and dine close to our hotel. His knowledge of Czech history was impressive
This tour encompassed the old and new towns. Lesser town and since we already toured the Prague Castle our guide took us to non touristy places. She was very informative and friendly

"Al" was charming, informative and flexible. He even found a rooftop bar from which we viewed the astronomical clock and the surrounding plaza.
Our tour guide, Nikola, was exceptional, making an already beautiful city even more memorable. From the moment we met, her passion for Prague's history and culture was evident. She provided incredible advice on local cafes and hidden gems, which was a nice touch to finish our tour. Highly recommend!

Wendy was an excellent tour guide. She tailored the tour according to our needs and desires. She had a basic plan for us and adapted it on the fly. If we wanted to stay at one stop longer, it was fine with her. The added bonus was that she had a car to drive us around so that we could cover more ground in the one day we had to tour Prague. I highly recommend Wendy!
Amalia did a wonderful job showing us Prague . She made sure we saw the best sights and guided our driver very well . She answered all our questions and gave us a tremendous amount of history . We really enjoyed her company .

We only had one day of sightseeing and with our guide we were able to see all of the noteworthy and historic places on our list. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly also flexible with our plans and the driver was great! We enjoyed our day!
