If you want to try local cuisine and immerse yourself into the local culture here in Prague, this is definitely worth it! Nikola was a wonderful guide who went out of her way to make sure that everyone was taken care of. We would highly recommend this tour!

Kuba knows his stuff! Not only did he make the experience super friendly but was always making sure people were having a great time and enjoying the tour themselves. As a first day trip even after the long flight and the jet lag, this was a great way to start Prague off right. Not only does he give you a great start to know about the culture and history but, also provides you with dishes and drink that not only fill the belly but also the weary soul! Highly highly recommend!

Fantastic food and culture tour! Nikki our guide was so knowledgeable and the food stops were great! We never felt rushed and she showed us many interesting sights in the city. Definitely enjoyed ourselves and had plenty to eat! Do not eat before this tour.

This was a great experience, there were many delicious dishes to enjoy and our guide Nikki gave us some fascinating local context about what we were eating as well as lots of info about the area we were walking through. Jakub was an excellent host, and it was great to try all the authentic dishes plus a couple of beers. His coverage of certain Prague history and real life family experiences over the years was extremely interesting.
My family of my wife, daughter & son went along at a total cost of £520 which based on the evening I thought was extremely expensive for what was received, which consisted drink wise of a glass of water and 2 beers, plus food of a Starter sandwich, 2 plates of mains, and an ice cream over the 3 hrs.
Jakub's personality made everyone relaxed and he was entertaining with a good personality. There was a total of 6 people on the tour and maybe that was the reason of the shortcomings, but not worth the money in our view.
This does not detract from Jakub who was excellent and maybe Prague City Tours need to review the pricing as it was not worth the money in our view, with other tours of a similar type a lot less cost for a very similar offering.
The guide, Jakub, was excellent. He knew the city, and he certainly knew the food and beer! It was a great experience with some very good food!

This is an excellent way to start to get your bearings in Prague. Jakub, our guide was entertaining and informative. Kuba was a fantastic guide! He was personable, knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Czech food and Czech history. He was very attentive and ensured we all were comfortable and having a great time. Nikky was a terrific guide! Lots of Czech food - you will be MORE than full - from open-faced sandwich, gingerbread, pork knuckle, schnitzel, potatoes, beer, ice cream, and more! Thankfully there was a bit of walking (10-15 mins approx) between locations to give us a break between food stops. Also enjoyed meeting the other people on the food tour and the stories Nikky shared. We had a total of 9 guests in our group. I appreciated that we received the location for meeting up and name and photo of our guide before the tour - made it helpful to find her.

Alot of walking from place to place. Otherwise great experience trying different food around town. I might suggest to have the number of participants plates should have a piece of what food to be tasted already equally ready to go for each person to taste test. Passing around a single portion and pulling from that single portion is kind of intimidating 😳. Have the plates prepared before hand so you create a more comfortable experience.. just an idea 💡 😉

Quick clarification on the sharing style: Czech dining culture is very communal — people actually eat this way at home, passing dishes around the table family-style. It's part of the experience we're showing you, not a cost-saving measure. That said, we totally get that it can feel unfamiliar if you're not used to it.
For anyone reading this who prefers individual portions: just book the private tour option. Same spots, same food, but plated for you individually since it's just your group.
