Tour ended being a private tour since it was just the 2 of us. Our tour guide Otakar was outstanding. We learned a lot about Czech history from him. He showed us Prague in the castle area at night where hardly anyone is around - it was magical. Please note that this tour requires a lot of walking and streets are hilly. It was very nice of our tour guide to ride back with us on the tram to make sure we get back to our hotel.

Outstanding tour and tour guide

Besides the amazing views of the city from the monastery and the old and “new” city walking , the history and context provided by Dana was rich, with several side street detours to show us homes and share unique aspects of their historical lives and social/political events. Dana was outstanding in her knowledge of both history and architecture and was in full command of English (having lived several years in the states). We would request her again.

This was our first introduction to the beautiful city of Prague. We booked it for the first night of our first trip to the city. We met our guide at the Charles Bridge and wandered through the Old Town to the Jewish Quarter, and finished in the Old Town Square. She was happy to tailor the tour to our interests, and she was able to get us away from the crowds so that we could really have a conversation, ask questions, and experience her perspective of the city. This is a great introduction to Prague.

The walk itself was lovely because we, three ladies, would never have walked through Petrin Park at night on our own. It was great to go through the Castle and Lesser Town at night too. Our guide was not very talkative and if we had not had other tours organized for the next few days we would not have learned very much.

Kate, our guide, was very accommodating. Our evening walking tour was tailored based on our interests on the architecture and history of the old town and the Jewish area. Kate provided interesting facts about monuments and points of interests. It was a relaxed and leisurely walk without rushing from one place to another. We truly appreciated her keen interest in history. As the tour progressed, sundown provided a dramatic back drop to to Prague's architecture. We highly recommend Kate as a tour guide for the evening walk in Prague.

Es hat alles super geklappt, zentraler Treffpunkt und unser Begleiter Karel ein sympathisches, "wandelndes Lexikon", super kompetent in der Prager Stadtgeschichte, er promoviert sogar gerade darin ! Er sprach phantastisch deutsch, ging sehr persönlich auf unsere Fragen und Wünsche ein. Ein super Erlebnis, lohnt sich absolut ! Danke
