This experience was a highlight of our trip. Rocco and Carla were so kind and accommodating, and every single thing we did and made was incredible. They were so sweet with my 4 y/o boy as well, and it was so immersive and fun! And most importantly the food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience and great thing to do when visiting the amalfi coast!

Valeria and Rubina were so kind and hospitable. Our family had a fantastic time cooking with them in their private residence. It felt like cooking with family. I highly recommend this intimate experience over a large classroom kitchen one.

The cooking class with Rocco and Carla at their home in Praiano was an amazing experience. It was a small group - just 4 of us so very personal and hands on. The food was delicious! We learned to make different types of pasta, ricotta gnocchi and tiramisu. They also served us some homemade bread and wine. The food was all farm to table with most of it grown on their own property. I highly recommend this experience.

Viator uses a third-party company called CesarIne. Even though multiple emails confirm details within an assigned host at the assigned 5:30 PM, they did not have a reservation for us and they did not have a class at 5:30pm per our reservation. Address was wrong, we used the neighbors to find them. We booked an experience for positano but were sent to Praiano a bit far. We went there and did not have phone number. With lot of difficulties, we used neighbors to find Rocco, but we were turned away as they did not have our reservation and the had a full class at 4pm but not 5:30 per our reservation. We messaged the “host” Cesarine on Viator and they sent a message back with a number in Bologna which is no where near to us, and a different name of host. “Please contact your host directly “ with a new name in Bologna far away. They have all wrong information. Disorganized. No direct communication between third party and host family where they sent us. Everything was wrong. We were very disappointed and wasted our time. We got nothing, no experience.

Your host, instead of declaring the class over, as an exception suggested that you could join their class the following day at 4PM, but you declined the offer.

The experience is an authentic Italian family hosting you in their home for a meal. You really feel apart of the family, we did do other cooking classes in Italy but this one was by far the best! Rocco and his family were so welcoming and it really felt like home. They were able to assist even the most basic chefs into creating great dishes and were so flexible if there was anything that the group didn’t want in or needed to substitute. I would recommend this class to anyone I meet that is thinking of doing a pasta cooking class in Italy that is authentic.

Rubina and Valeria were the absolute BEST! We had the most incredible experience at their home. They were so sweet and went above and beyond. They were excellent teachers and took pictures the whole time. They made this experience a memorable one. I would definitely visit them again.

We had a fabulous time at our cooking class, lots of great tips on pasta making and delicious food that we enjoyed while visiting with the owners Rocco and Carla. Rocco’s passion for local traditions and passing along family recipes was heartwarming. He also gave us excellent recommendations for other places to eat along the AMALFI coast. It was a wonderful experience and we felt like family enjoying time together cooking with Carla and Rocco!

Important to note this was in Praiano - it was an inexpensive local bus from Positano to Praiano and back. The small restaurant was lovely and the class ended up being me and my daughter. Antonio was entertaining and we had a great hands on cooking experience that ended with eating the wonderful meal we made.

Class was great…Carla and Rocco are very nice and Carla is entertaining! As advertised, we made several types of pasta and a dessert. We also enjoyed some of Rocco’s homemade wine. The class culminated in a lunch, where we enjoyed the food we made. While from Positano, it is an easy 25 minute bus ride away (only a couple of Euros each direction), we enjoyed the morning.

Absolutely amazing! The best thing we did on our trip to Italy so far. Luisa was so knowledgeable and the meal we made together was delicious. We had an appetizer, cheese tasting, made 2 different pasta and a pesto and tiramisu from scratch. Several glasses of wine were offered to us. We stayed in Positano and our cooking class was at a beautiful rooftop restaurant in Praiano. We got there by bus easily and we hiked the path of the gods home!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy.
Sergio was a truly amazing host.
He welcomed us with drinks and snacks on his patio with a magnificent view.
He involved us in the whole cooking process, and the meal was absolutely delicious.

the chefs were amazing and the class was a great experience. Antonio and his son ali a made us feel at home and showed us a beautiful time. We learnt making Gnocci, Pesto , Fish sauce as well as Tiramisu which was all delicious.
But Viator totally screwed up by providing absolutely wrong address and wrong meeting points. we were misguided about the location of the class , saying it is Positano.
We had to pay $350 Euros for taxi fare to reach the class which is insane.

Since our experiences are held in private homes, for privacy reasons we share the details of our hosts only after the booking is made. For this reason the real address was sent to you the day after you booked, and then once again the day of the event.

Fabulous hands on gnocchi and pizza making class. Chef Andrea was so informative and interesting - he also demonstrated how to make lemoncello and a caprese cake. All made for a delicious lunch with the magnificent view of Positano and the sea.

The host and the staff were terrific. However, the description of the course is completely deceiving. First, it wasn’t a pasta course but an into to Italian food. It is a nice opportunity to socialize with other tourists but NOT a hands on cooking course. For anyone interested in actual cooking experience this is NOT the class for you.

We could not have asked for a better experience! Rocco and Carla were tremendous hosts! Carla is an outstanding chef and made the cooking experience both enjoyable and educational! The food was fantastic and they surprised us with a home made liquor out of herbs from their garden that was surprisingly one of the best liquors I've had. Highly reccommend these Carla and Rocco!!
