Such a wonderful experience. The highlight of our trip to the Amalfi coast. Boat captain and tour guide were wonderful hosts. We stopped at several beautiful spots to swim. Would recommend to all visitors to Positano.

This was a wonderful experience. Peter and Peter Jr were so great! We swam, stopped at the emerald grotto, got dropped off in Amalfi for 1.5 hrs came back and ate at the restaurant by the ocean and swam again. There were snacks and drinks on board. This is a must while you are visiting the Amalfi coast, definitely recommend it!

The crew was great, and the timing and itinerary were perfect. We stopped twice for swimming, and we all decided to skip the grotto, although we would have stopped if anyone wanted to go. We also loved the lunch spot they took us to. We only stayed an hour and a half in Amalfi which we liked because it was way too crowded anyway. It was just the right amount of time to grab some gelato and do some souvenir shopping before going back to the boat for our lunch stop.

Peter and his crew created a lively and gorgeous tour of the Amalfi Coast! We enjoyed swimming, sightseeing seeing, touring the town, and delicious foods.

Such a fun day! Skipper Pete made this very enjoyable and met great people on the boat. Perfect amount of stops and swimming opportunities. The lunch spot was great too but a little pricey. Snacks and drinks on the boat were enjoyable.

The description of the tour and what we actually experienced were very different. We were only given about 30 minutes to swim, and then stopped at a restaurant where several other tour boats were also bringing guests. While the food was very good, the stop itself felt a bit gimmicky. We were also seated with the two other couples from our boat for lunch. Thankfully we had already started talking to them beforehand, but it would’ve been nice to have the option to sit separately.
To get to and from the restaurant, everyone had to pile into a small dinghy, fitting around 20 people at a time. It felt very chaotic and wasn’t what we expected.
The water was also extremely choppy during the first half of the tour, which made both myself and another passenger feel very seasick.
I also think the itinerary should be communicated more clearly from the beginning. Instead of asking the three different groups on the boat what they wanted to do throughout the day, it would have been better to have a set plan. We felt somewhat pressured to go along with whatever the other groups decided, rather than feeling like we had a choice.
Lastly, our captain was very friendly, but he did hit the boat while docking, and it appeared to cause some damage. While accidents can happen, it didn’t inspire much confidence during the tour.

We were very surprised by your review, as it contains statements that do not reflect the way we operate.
First of all, no one is ever forced to go to the restaurant. The lunch stop is always optional and is offered as an additional service. If a guest prefers not to stop for lunch, we always consider an alternative whenever operationally possible. Claiming that you were forced to go to the restaurant is simply not true.
As for the rough sea, it should be obvious that no one can control the weather or sea conditions. The sea can become rough during the day, and this is completely beyond our control. We are sorry that some passengers experienced seasickness, but it is not fair to hold the tour responsible for changing sea conditions.
The itinerary is also adjusted according to the weather, sea conditions, and guests' preferences in order to provide the best possible experience. Asking guests for their opinion is not about putting anyone under pressure; it is about trying to find a solution that works for everyone on board.
Finally, regarding the docking maneuver, minor contact with the dock can occasionally happen during normal boating operations without posing any safety risk to passengers or affecting the quality of the tour. Suggesting otherwise is simply unfounded.
We always welcome constructive feedback, but we also believe that reviews should present the facts accurately and truthfully.

My friends and I had a wonderful boat day from start to finish! We saw many iconic sights along the coast, had a couple opportunities to swim, had a wonderful lunch, and spent the perfect amount of time exploring Amalfi. The tour provided us with towels, drinks, and snacks throughout the day. We all had so much fun!

The boat tour was absolutly amazing. A few of the people who were supposed to be in attendance never showed up so we ended up being super lucky only having four of us total on the boat the captain (Peter) and the guide (Tati) were both amazing. They were kind, welcoming, and everything was perfect. The lunch place was great and the food that the guide provided for us from her garden was insane. Overall def recommend.

The views were incredible and we loved getting to swim. However, the “unlimited” drinks is a stretch. Our captain had 2 bottles of champagne and 4 canned beers for a group of 12 people. That went quick. The snacks were lackluster. He didn’t tell us anything that we were seeing due to his English not being the best. He was videoing us the entire time we were on the boat to promote his business without asking or saying anything to us about it. We got dropped off at Amalfi to “shop” for 30 minutes. We didn’t see any of the cool places we were all under the assumption of getting to see. He didn’t ask us what we would prefer to do. And then he dropped us off an hour early back to the dock in Positano. I was really bummed about our experience! I wanted to really enjoy and love the day but we were extremely underwhelmed by our experience. I wish we would have booked with another company or had another captain.

We had an amazing day! The boat was beautiful and clean. The communication was excellent and clear. Our captain and guide were attentive and professional. They pointed our sights along the way and the views are stunning! The spot we stopped at for lunch was also great. All of us enjoyed our meal and drinks there. Felt like we had plenty of time on Almafi to grab gelato and do a little exploring. Definitely recommend!

Bait and switch scheme - asked for money back - had to engage AMEX to stop payment . Viator customer service was not much help and did not represent my interests as expected. Process driven more than service driven. Will likely never use Viator again based on this experience.

We were an afterthought. There were six of us small boat, no shade and it was very uncomfortable. The captain was wonderful however we had to wait on him because again we felt we were an afterthought. We did not get the boat that we reserved. The entire trip was uncomfortable because there was no shade.

Everything was very well organized, and pickup was prompt. You’ll receive several messages with pickup instructions before your tour. Depending on where you’re staying in Positano, be sure to allow plenty of time to get down to the port, as it can take longer than expected.
This was a small-group tour, which made for a much more personal and relaxing experience. There were only four guests on our boat. Throughout the day, the captain provided snacks and drinks, and we had two opportunities to swim, each lasting about 30–45 minutes. We also stopped in Amalfi for about 90 minutes to explore the town. Before we arrived, the captain asked whether we wanted to stop for lunch afterward so we could plan our time in Amalfi accordingly. The restaurant he took us to was accessible only by boat, making it a unique part of the experience.
If you’re looking for a party boat, this isn’t it—and that’s exactly why we loved it. The tour is designed to be peaceful and relaxing. Small glasses of Prosecco and limoncello were served on board, while we enjoyed most of our drinks during our time in Amalfi and at lunch.
Thank you for an amazing day exploring the Amalfi Coast. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

We had an incredible time on this Amalfi Coast boat tour! The crew was friendly, professional, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we boarded. The itinerary was perfectly planned, with stunning stops at Positano, Praiano, Fiordo di Furore, Amalfi, and the Emerald Grotto. We had plenty of opportunities to swim in the crystal-clear water, relax on the boat, and take in the breathtaking scenery. The small group size made the experience feel personal and never crowded. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Italy—highly recommend to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast! 🇮🇹⛵️🌊

This was a great tour with beautiful scenery on a nice boat with lots of room. The captain seemed very competent and the mate/tour guide was fun though she was sometimes hard to understand.

Save yourself the headache. I’ve been trying to get the refund I was promised for weeks and have yet to receive anything. We had an appointment booked at 9am in positano and booked this tour for 11am. We received a text at 8am asking us to meet early because of their child’s party so we scrambled to change our previous appointment and cancelled our evening plans to accommodate the change. We arrive and our boat has “mechanical issues” and they offer us a capri tour. Come to find out there was no one else there for the same tour that we signed up for, I seriously doubt there was boat trouble I just don’t think enough people booked it. The woman who rushed us remained on the dock so I doubt she had a party to get to either. The speaker on the boat didn’t work, the actual boat crew were lovely and nice, they gave us snacks and champagne. The tour they put us on dropped us at a cruise port for 3 hours where you either had to spend money for shade at a beach club or restaurant, get on a crammed shuttle, or sit on a pebble beach. It was massively underwhelming compared to the tour we were originally expecting. Unless your doing it for a photo opp, save your money and just take the ferry to capri. And save your sanity and book with someone else

Our boat tour of the Amalfi Coast was the best day of our Italy trip. There was a good mix of people and activities. The provided snacks and drinks were perfect. It was also nice that they provided towels and we didn't have to worry about that.

my husband and I stayed in Praiano. We hiked to Positano via path of the gods, which worked out great. We enjoyed boating to the bridge. They boated us to another area to swim. They only provide snorkeling goggles and not the actual snorkel so I would bring a snorkel tube if you want to snorkel- There were a lot of fish where we were which we enjoyed looking at. The part I did not like about this tour was spending 3 hours in Amalfi- VERY touristy with a lot of people. Then boated back. Had to ask about the limoncello at the end bc they didn’t bring it out without us asking. Also, the snacks were brought out like 2 minutes before we got to Amalfi so we didn’t really get time to eat them.

The absolute highlight of my trip! The experience was so special seek less and they go over the top to make it special! Sweetest team onboard and easy to find the tour!
They want you to enjoy your day as much as possible - they give you snacks apperitivo style olives chips tomatoes etc Prosecco , beer , soda , water , salami cheese
You stop and jump in the most gorgeous blue water
Then spend the day in the city of Amalfi get the lemon gelato so good
Then they have limoncello shots at the end and more passed food such angels and they like to play music and bring towels for everyone.
