By far one of the best activities we did in Positano. We went with our family of 5. The host was very welcoming and the class was very fun and organized. The food we made was so delicious and the view from the class was fantastic! We had a great time and I highly recommend this cooking class. It’s a way better experience than doing a cooking class at a restaurant.

Highlight of our trip. Emily and her family were so welcoming and kind. Such an intimate experience. We loved hearing their family history as well as the history of their home. The food was exceptional. I can’t wait to try the recipes at home.

Emily and her family were the highlight of our time in Positano. Her love and admiration for her years growing up in Positano, which inspired the experience and food we made and enjoyed, will never be forgotten! Having Emily arrange the transit was the way to go. It was more than a cooking class but rather an entire Italian cultural experience!

I cannot recommend this experience with Emily more. We had the best time learning about the history of Positano, Montepertuso, and her family traditions. This was a very high energy and interactive experience for the whole group. She even included a very detailed pdf of instructions on how to recreate the recipes at home. The food was incredible. Emily and her family have invested a lot of time and energy to ensure this is a high quality experience for all. We will definitely return!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The communication throughout was superb, making everything feel easy and welcoming from the very beginning. The hosts were incredibly friendly, genuine, and made us feel right at home.
The home itself was beautiful, warm, and exceptionally clean. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The food and drinks were authentic and delicious, giving us a true taste of the local culture.
What made the experience even more memorable was the joy and energy shared in the kitchen the singing, dancing, and laughter created such a fun and unforgettable atmosphere. It felt like more than just a visit; it felt like being welcomed into a home filled with happiness and tradition.

100/100 experience!!!
TLDR: I did some light research into pasta making classes in Positano and mostly saw "lit" ones, where everyone is getting fed shots, hollering, and is like a party! While those did look fun, we can come to Positano to relax, enjoy the calm ambiance, and get closer to the cultural history. This class was EXACTLY that and Emily exceeded all expectations.
Starts: Meet Emily's brother, who walks you to their family home, passed down generations. Emily introduces herself, her family (including her lovely parents and son), and the menu.
Pasta Making: The pasta experience is lengthy - no corners were cut and you get to relish every single part. It even becomes SUPER FUN, with the whole crowd involved. You start by making tiramisu, which turn out to be delectable. Making the thin ravioli was such a fun group experience!
Honestly, no compliments would be enough to describe how perfect this class was. Not once did we feel rushed, Emily and her family truly welcomed us with open arms, and we recommend this class to everyone!!!

Emily treated us like family from the start. A recent landslide affected the road to the experience and she helped organize a transfer using a ride service and her family helped to pick us up on the other side of the blocked road. The class was held at her family’s home, and before starting the class she spoke about her family traditions and her grandmother that started it all. This set the tone for the experience, and we felt like we were at a family cooking party. The recipes were delicious and her whole family was welcoming and kind. We will recommend this class for anyone visiting Positano.

this was such an amazing experience! emily genny and their parents were so pleasant ,funny and nice! we loved the history as well! emily went above and beyond and assisted us with transportation! the house was great- clean with beautiful views! the beverages were great and the food was amazing -so fresh and delicious ! we would recommend this experience 100% to anyone!! <3

Amazing experience. Hosted at a house at the to of Positano. Emily, the host was a lot of fun and led us in preparing some great pasta dishes and tiramisu for desert. Enjoyed wine and prosecco while preparing and eating the meal. Would highly recommend Thai experience to anyone.

This was the most beautiful and outstanding cooking class I have ever taken. In fact, it was one of the most special and beautiful memories I have ever had in Italy. The warmth and joy overflowed. Music and tradition and making pasta memories of a life time. No words can express my sincerest gratitude to Emily with her effervescent personally and love for family and tradition. I had missed my stop on the bus and her brother kindly escorted me to the location of the cooking class helping me find my way. Then I was met by wonderful guests, Emily and her momma. Emily, her brother and mother are all so welcoming! My mother and I enjoyed every minute of this cooking class. We got to learn about their Grandmother who gave Emily her love for cooking and the recipes we made were outstanding! We would do this experience over and over again. If you want a more intimate cooking class, from a family who has lived in Positano for generations, this is it! Just an easy bus ride out of the busy city of Positano and so worth it! If you’re on the fence of this cooking class or others, don’t be just book this one you will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Emily, Gennaro and their Mum. Welcomed into their lovely home and treated like family. Emily shared her family and grandmother’s amazing history with us whilst providing lots of tips on how to create the perfect pasta. This resulted in a delicious lunch paired with wonderful wine and homemade limoncello. We also made tiramisu which is something I wouldn’t normally choose however this version was fabulous. Will be using the recipes provided to cook for family when we return home. Also the view from the family villa is magnificent. This is by far the best experience we’ve had on our holiday❤️.
