Our guide David, drove us to the beautiful Douro Valley. Two wineries, olive oil production and lunch were great tours. Our group of 5 had a fantastic day.

We were in Porto last week and took this tour spanning the whole day. Andrea the guide and driver met us at the Hotel as arranged and we found we were the only tourists on board. The drive started with inclement weather and rain though the rain stopped once we reached the Douro valley. We went to an independent small winery which sells only directly and we had the process of wine and olive oil making explained to us along with tasting of a few red and white wines, olive oil and Grape Juice. We had lunch at a small local restaurant on the way back after visiting a winery making mainly Port wine and having tasted a few wines of varying vintage. We were then dropped back to Porto. All in all a very enjoyable excursion which is highly recommended.

Nous avons eu la chance de faire cette excursion en privée juste avec le chauffeur /pas de petit groupe
Nous avons énormément apprécié notre chauffeur guide qui a été d’une bienveillance extrême . Il est très calé sur la région la vallée du Douro et Porto et restitue avec passion ses connaissances. Cela fut un moment de partage et nous nous sommes régalés au déjeuner proposé dans un restaurant local typique a Pinhao
