What a wonderful bookstore. A must see if visiting Porto. Very busy, so recommend purchasing Gold tickets which also gives you a free spent to buy a book as a souvenir! Staff were so helpful.

It is a beautiful location, no doubt. So many details packed in a single place. As many have said it is crowded and expect to have people in the pictures or use ai to remove them. The book selection is limited but beautiful packaged. If you are looking for handsome editions of classic, royalty-free books in several different languages, this is a great time to use your good ticket to cash in. It does not apply to all books or items in the store. If you only wanted a pic in a controlled environment, you may rethink the ticket price.

Bookshop is stunning with Harry Poter vibes….downloaded ticket from Viator site and added to my wallet on my phone….It was not acceptable at the door and the student implied that I was stupid…I have been using Viator for many years and I have never had any problem with their tickets before…The bookshop staff need to be educated about the ticket system or the process with viator needs to change

We would like to clarify that, as stated multiple times in the product description, the official entry ticket is sent directly to the email address used during purchase. The purchase confirmation or voucher itself cannot be used as an entry ticket at Livraria Lello. If the voucher was presented instead of the official ticket, the staff would unfortunately not be able to grant entry. This process is clearly explained before purchase to avoid misunderstandings.
