Enjoy this full day small group tour of the Furnas Valley and other stops along the way. You’ll visit Vila Franca do Campo, try a traditional Pastry, then get to the Terra Nostra Park to see the romantic gardens. Do it. Great to see the island and how locals live. Food from underground pots was delicious. Portugese people are lovely.

Bring a swimsuit and flip flops for the heated pools. Have really good walking shoes. This is a really good travel experience, must do if you are on the Azores.

We had an excellent guide who was very accommodating with the group’s desires. We got to walk along the lake and through the beautiful hydrangea bushes of many shades and colours. This was early august. We also walked through the woods to furnas and met up with him. The lunch was a sit down lunch and we had choices of fish stew, traditional meat stew, and chicken? Then we stopped at a tea plantation and had tea and dessert later in the afternoon.

Practically everything exceeded our expectations. The guide was knowlagble, the route has scoped most of San Miguel points, the group is small, highly recommend.

Awesome trip through the island with our guide Leandro, we visited beautiful spots and lakes. In between visits, we had fun anecdotes. The food tasted was good and local. Definitely recommend it.

I booked this trip. U had to met at a meeting point so I got up early to walk there. Was 20 mins early . Waited for about a hour. No one showed up, I asked all the vans that stopped there if they were waiting for me and nothing. Now trying to fight with them for a refund is getting to be a lot. So I would never book with this company again. Unless they actually finally give me a refund. I held off on writing this. But it’s been a week and half and nothing !!!

Good morning.
Thank you for the time you took to share your experience with us. This type of feedback is very important to improve our daily operations. Please allow me to clarify the situation.
We have received your reservation in our system and you have received all the information on our side, namely the meeting point and time.
The meeting point to this activity is at our main office in Ponta Delgada, located at the east Marina. The Marina is a place with restricted access to vehicles and no Van or other vehicle access the perimeter of our office, due to the Marina regulations. Guests that book our land activities with the same meeting point, are pickup by foot, by our company guides, who take our guests to the designated vans, located about 2 minutes away, by foot.
On the day of your activity, the starting time was at 09:00, as usual, and our guide waited until 09h20. During these 20 minutes wait, we have tried to contact you for three times (without success), to the phone number you shared upon booking. We have the records of the attempted phone calls.
We have reported the no show situation to our partner platform, and have submited all the requested evidence of the no show that was asked of us.
I would kindly ask you to get in touch with them, to solve your refund situation.
I am sorry that this all situation happened, and I hope we can have another opportunity to recieve you here at Picos de Aventura, to try one of our curated adventures.

Apart from disappointing weather had a great day. Guide was brilliant with plenty of knowledge. Seeing the lunch we were about to eat being cooked was a great experience. The bubbling pools also something you won’t forget! Lucky enough to be in a group of only four.
