It was very fascinating and informative ! The tour guide was funny and delightful. I highly recommend it !
We had an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and gave us fun and interesting stories as we were guided around. Just the right amount of information as well. Very friendly and pleasant too. We were really glad we decided to do a tour!
Definitely advise good footwear as there a lots of cobbled areas and some steps/slopes to climb. Only saw a couple of benches to sit down, so lots of time spent standing too, so it’s a bit of a workout. In hot weather bring some water too. Well worth the trip though!
Our tour guide patiently waited for us to join her. We were 10 minutes late and she met us with a smile. The historic knowledge she shared about the cemetery and the people buried there was fascinating and in depth. We had a great time.
Not quite as ghostly and scary as I thought it would be, but still very interesting. A lot of walking up and down very rocky and narrow passages. You need to pay attention to where you’re stepping ! We were there for the Jim Morrison grave, but the others were very interesting. also Guide did a great job. A little long winded on some of the graves but still good job.

Zina (spelling?) Was a wonderful tour guide. She was knowledge, friendly, and provided a great walking and speaking pace.
Poor communication amongst the guides, we were told to join a different group who told us we were not on their list, so we basically didn’t get a tour at all and just wandered around alone, so a waste of money.
I thought this was going to be more haunted. It was still fun and great information about the history, but I probably wouldn’t have called it a haunted tour. We still had a great time.
The absolute worst experience! The guide NEVER SHOWED UP!
The guide NEVER called, emailed or texted us!
We wasted 3 hours getting to the cemetery and waiting for the guide!
To make matters worse, Viator did not accept blame and refused to reimburse our Uber money spent on a round trip waste of time!

We had a really nice time with our guide, he did great job with jumping from english to france, since it was a mixed group.

A guided tour is a must when visiting Pere Lachaise Cemetery. Our guide, James, expertly led us through the maze of graves to see the highlights. James was also very knowledgeable about the history and context of people buried there.
No show!!! Guide never showed. Still waiting for refund. Stay away. Would give negative stars. Bad!!
Long walk in cobble stones with uneven footing and some areas with steep stairs.
Physically strenuous but worth it!

We had a really good tour. I unfortunately cannot recall our tour guides name but he was really informative and we loved hearing all the behind the scene stories . It was cold and rainy the day we went but he made the best of it for us. The cemetery was super cool and we enjoy the history that was incorporated with the eerie. If you’re into Off the beaten path kind of cool then don’t miss this tour!
