Picasso in Paris (a hidden gem)

This Picasso museum is based in an incredibly well maintained “hotel” formerly owned by a salt tax collector. Its history is eclipsed by the collection of Picasso’s work that spans his incredible contributions to the art world. None of this other than Picasso’s fame would have been appreciated by our family had it not been for the deep and broad level of expertise provided by our guide Barbara. Barbara patiently addressed all of our questions and added a great deal of detail that explored the depth and range of Picasso’s life, and the period of time that molded him. We rate this tour very highly and recommend future attendees seek out Barbara. They will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our guide Bruno who gave us an insight into the process of art in the early 1900's.Only knowing the broad strokes of Picasso's life Bruno gave us an intimate insight into his journey that brought him such success. The Museum was Picasso's home in his later years and has grand architecture to enjoy along with the art. I highly recommend a guided tour to any of the Paris museums and using Viator was easy and secure.

De gids gaf een duidelijke (ik ben niet Franstalig) en interessante uitleg over het werk van de veelzijdige Picasso. Ik heb bij hem heel wat geleerd. Wel een beetje jammer dat hij reeds om 16.50 uur vertrok in plaats van het voorziene 17.00 uur.
