What a wonderful tour! We had a great time with Tina. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Paris and how it relates to the museum and all of the art and artists. Having a guide made all the difference in the world.

Our tour guide Bella was very knowledge and passionate about the Orsay and all of the amazing art. There’s so much to see, that having a tour guide was helpful to see high points. Too much to take in on one visit, but specially with the crowds. Would like to go back one day during non peak-season, and a weekday and spend more time. We both enjoyed much more than The Louvre.

Our tour guide was fabulous. She is an artist in her own right so she was able to share so much more in addition to the history and content of the painting. Her description of a pre-impressionist, François Millet brought tears to my eyes. She really made me feel the emotions that the artist was trying to convey.

Of the 20-30 tours and experiences I’ve booked via Viator over the years, this was the worst - not because of the tour guide - she was great - but because of the tour company. One, we had a reservation for 11 AM but the tour company booked us for 11:30 AM tickets. Two, the description in Viator said “guaranteed skip the line”. Again, we thought our tour was to begin at 11 am since that’s what we booked. Then on top of this mishap, we had to wait in line with people who bought regular tickets. Why did I pay $630 dollars for a private tour with skip the line for 11 AM when of the tour I purchased, I got one out of 3 things. I asked for a partial refund from the tour company and I was offered a free tour of Notre Dame. My schedule is always booked when I com to Paris. I wanted a portion of my cost refunded. All to say do not book this tour. Ive booked this exact tour before and had skip the line so I know this exists. This company is not an honest broker. They pocket your money and waste your time. Viator should not use them.

Whoo Hooo!!! Simply “the best”! Boris for curator, historian, philosopher, tour guide. Give this man a raise. Impressionist was just a word I’d heard and mentioned once a year maybe. Boris brought it to life and left my companions and myself saying Hmmmm. I’m thinking his day job is professor Emirates at the school of his choice. I’ll be back Orsay, count on it.
