We have a very enjoyable few hours with our young but very knowledgeable guide.
A lot to see and learn very impressive.
We appreciate the V.I.P entrance and use of facilities.
Highly recommend , easy to locate the meeting point and kept up to date with emails prior to the date.
Thank you.
Was great. Love that we could avoid the crowds. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Was informative and adaptable. This small group tour ended up just being the 2 of us. Was nice to head to highlights of the museum and not worry about figuring where to go or how to see things. We had an enjoyable time
A wonderful tour, the guide was very passionate and knowledgeable of the Louvre. Gave great presentations of the art we viewed and kept me interested during the whole tour.
Our tour guide wasn’t the most personable person we’ve toured with on this trip soft spoken and difficult to follow. There were 6 of us on this tour and the guide only brought 4 audio devices, so I was one of the folks who just walked along side the group.
When asked questions he did have the knowledge.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Bonjour,
We are sorry to hear that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it must have been to find the commentary difficult to follow and, especially, not to have an audio device available for every member of your group.
We are pleased that you found our guide knowledgeable when answering your questions, but we regret that the overall experience was not as comfortable and engaging as it should have been. Your feedback regarding the audio devices is particularly valuable and will be shared with our team.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for a more enjoyable experience, perhaps with a guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay or a relaxing sunset Champagne cruise.
Cordialement,
France Tourisme
Cannot remember the fella’s name who took us around but he was the highlight of the experience. Very passionate and knowledgeable about every piece he showed us and any questions we had he would answer with ease. It was a busy Saturday so trying to see the Mona Lisa was a bit of a nightmare but too be honest we were not that bothered as there was so much more to see than just that.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Bonjour Ali,
What a pleasure to read your feedback! We are delighted to hear that your guide was the highlight of your experience and that his passion and knowledge brought the Louvre’s incredible collection to life. Being able to answer your questions with ease and share the stories behind the artworks is exactly the kind of experience we want our guests to enjoy.
We are also pleased that, despite the busy Saturday and the crowds around the Mona Lisa, you were able to appreciate how much more there is to discover throughout the museum. The Louvre is filled with remarkable masterpieces and fascinating stories beyond its most famous painting!
At France Tourisme, our guides are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping travelers discover the richness of Parisian culture. For another memorable cultural experience, we would be delighted to welcome you on a guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay or invite you to enjoy a sunset Champagne cruise along the Seine.

We hit the jackpot with Sinsin (spelling?). We booked a small group tour and the other family didn't show. We ended having a personal tour. Our guide was VERY educated, having his national certification. Got to see the Bug 3 and then her used the rest of the time showing us several pieces and sharing his wealth of knowledge. After the 2 hours, we the had the remainder of the day to wonder the museum on our own. Highly recommend and request Sinsin.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Bonjour,

It is fantastic to know that you enjoyed discovering the museum’s iconic masterpieces while also having the opportunity to explore other works in greater depth thanks to your guide’s knowledge. We are especially pleased that his professional certification and engaging explanations added so much value to your visit. We will be delighted to share your kind words with him!
At France Tourisme, we love helping travelers discover the Louvre beyond its most famous masterpieces, through stories, details, and the passion of our guides. For your next Parisian adventure, we would be delighted to welcome you on a guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay or take you on a sunset Champagne cruise along the Seine.

This is a good introduction to the Louvre and its collection. It can be overwhelming to go alone. It is much easier to go with someone who knows the Louvre well and is even recognized by the staff. There is no way be comprehensive in two hours, but you will see most of the most famous pieces of art in the museum, including Winged Victory, Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, the Wreck of the Medusa, Napoleon's Coronation, etc.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Bonjour Paul,
Thank you very much for your thoughtful review! We are delighted to hear that the guided visit gave you a great introduction to the Louvre and made exploring such an immense museum feel easier and more enjoyable.
You are absolutely right: with so much to discover, having a knowledgeable guide by your side makes it possible to focus on some of the Louvre’s most iconic masterpieces, from the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo to Winged Victory and The Coronation of Napoleon. We are especially happy that you appreciated the expertise of our guide and the smooth experience.
At France Tourisme, our passion is to make Parisian culture accessible, fascinating, and memorable. If you return to Paris, we would love to welcome you on a guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay or take you on a relaxing cruise along the Seine to discover the city from another perspective.

Ellyesse was a fantastic tour guide. Incredibly knowledgeable on anything and everything in the Louvre. He was able to tell us things about the art that we otherwise would’ve never known, showed us the door where the theft happened and pieces of art we otherwise may not have seen. He was patient with us while we looked around and spoke phenomenal English as well. Highly recommend this tour as it made walking through the Louvre so enjoyable.
Excellent tour. A guided tour is the way to go. A small group makes it better. Our guide, Sensei, is an excellent storyteller and combined with his own passions and interest gave us a beautiful experience at the Lourve. He was personable, knowledgeable and took his time to make sure we enjoyed the experience. The Lourve is HUGE. If youre in Paris and have the ti.e to go everyday for four days, then take your time and explore it all. Otherwise, the big three are completely covered by the guided tour. What you'll see is completely dependent upon the guide and the day, but with a limited window, its amazing.
At the end, it was just my wife and I. It was perfect.
Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable and passionate guide. We saw all the major pieces of art plays so much more. Was great to not have to queue to get into the Louvre.

We hope to welcome you again soon for another guided tour, perhaps at the Musée d'Orsay, or on one of our excursions to Giverny or Versailles.

Alice de France Tourisme
We booked the tour solely to get tickets because the museum was sold out. Our tour guide was below average and rushed us through the exhibits. To his credit, it was extremely hot, but the tour was disorganized and it felt like he was making things up as he went, vs having a plan.
This tour was a perfect way to see The Louvre. We met at the tour guide near the Louvre. We purchased a skip the line and private tour. I would recommend bringing a fan for inside the museum, it can get warm inside. We didn’t have to wait in the long line outside. There’s another entrance inside that we used. The guide knew where to go for restroom breaks with no line. Our tour guide was excellent!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Hello Valerie,
Thank you for your wonderful review.
We are delighted to hear that your private Louvre tour was such a great experience and that you were able to make the most of your visit thanks to the priority access.
It is especially rewarding to know that your guide helped make the museum easy and enjoyable to explore, from navigating the galleries efficiently to sharing their expertise throughout the tour.
Your kind words about your guide mean a lot to us, and we will be sure to pass them along to the team.
We would be delighted to welcome you back for another discovery of France.
You may enjoy a guided visit of the Musée d'Orsay or an excursion to the magnificent Châteaux de la Loire, both offering unforgettable cultural experiences.
Kind regards,
Alice de France Tourisme.
This was a fantastic tour! Our guide showed us all the major displays in the two hours of the tour. It was wonderful to see all of the amazing art pieces! It was very busy and crowded but our guide somehow brought us to the right place at the right time and we never felt rushed. Honestly, I would even pay double the price for the ease of navigating the lines and even skipping some lineups. At the end of the tour we had the option to stay and browse the Louvre on our own. I could not be happier with the whole experience.
Response from Host, Jun 2026

Great knowledgeable guide. We were a group of four on the evening tour. Misuk, our guide gave interesting thorough comments . After the tour had finished, she took extra time to show us Napoleon’s Apartments, well worth it. A 10/10 guide

What a quick and easy way to see the highlights of the Louvre, our guide Sensi was super knowledgeable, very friendly, did a wonderful job articulating the intricacies of the art we saw. The tour ran at a really good pace, and the perfect amount of time for anyone who might feel a little intimidated or overwhelmed by the size of the Louvre. Meet up was super easy, their office was located right across the street from the Louvre which eliminated the stress of meeting amongst an ever growing louvre crowd! This was my 2nd time on a Louvre tour, HIGHLY recommend!
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback! We are truly delighted to read how much you enjoyed your Louvre experience and that Sinsé made such a positive impression with his knowledge, friendliness, and ability to bring the artworks to life. It means a lot to us that the pace and duration of the tour felt just right, especially in a museum as vast and impressive as the Louvre.
We are also very happy to know that the meeting point and our office location helped make your visit smooth and stress-free. Creating a comfortable, well-organized experience from start to finish is something we care deeply about, particularly for guests who may feel a bit overwhelmed by the scale of the museum. And coming back for a second Louvre tour with us and recommending it so highly truly makes our day!
If you plan to explore more of Paris, we would be thrilled to welcome you again. You might enjoy our guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay for a deep dive into Impressionist masterpieces, or perhaps a relaxing Seine River cruise to admire Paris from a different perspective. A half-day excursion to Versailles is also a favorite for many of our guests.
Thank you again for your trust and enthusiasm. We hope to see you again very soon for another memorable Parisian experience.
Warm regards,
Alice de France Tourisme
Our small group tour of 6 was a great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the museum and exhibits. His presentation was incredibly interesting and made the visit quite memorable. Even my husband, who is not a museum fan, stayed engaged. Highly recommend!
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're delighted to hear that your small group tour was enjoyable and that our guide's knowledge and presentation made the visit memorable—even for someone who’s not usually a museum fan. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you and your group again soon!
Best regards,
Alice France Tourisme
Tour guide was a few min late for appointment. Its beyond his control but we were waiting almost one hour in line to enter louvre which it ate into our tour itself. Tour guide himself was pleasant and knowledgable.
The experience felt more like one of those run of the mill bigger guided tours so i wish we got that instead of paying more for a small group tour.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am glad to hear that your guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, but I completely understand your frustration about the delay at the meeting point and the long wait to enter the Louvre. Even when these situations are beyond our control, they can really affect the feeling of a small-group tour, and I am sorry that it did not meet the more exclusive experience you were expecting.
Your feedback is truly valuable to us, as it helps us improve the flow of our operations and ensure that our guests feel the added value of choosing a small group.
If you return to Paris, I would love for you to discover another side of our service—perhaps with our guided tour of the Musée d’Orsay or a relaxing sunset champagne cruise on the Seine, both of which offer a smoother, more intimate experience.
Warm regards,
Alice de France Tourisme

There were MANY problems,:
1. Tour guide arrived 30 minutes late.
2. He announced Louvre was on strike, we should still go over but our skip the line tickets would not be honored.
3. Upon arriving at the entranced, he was quite confused and didnt kmow which line we should get on. He then announced we couldnt wait and should reschedule for later in the day.
4. We went back to the tour agency where the woman behind the desk knew NOTHING. We rescheduled for a 3 pm tour.
5. On line we saw that Louvre opened at 11:30. We returned to the agency at 1 pm and asked if she knew if it was opened. She replied "How would I know? I'm not there." She wouldnt check her computer.
6. We returned to the agency at 2::30 pm and the guide was there. We suggested starting the tour early. He refused and hid upstairs.
7. When we went to the Louvre, he made us follow him in from a very long and convoluted path.
8. In the Louvre, he was knowledgeable of the artwork, but not personable and unable to give eye contact.
8. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND USING THIS AGENCY AND QUESTION IF I WILL EVER BOOK THROUGH VIATOUR IN THE FUTURE!
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Customer,
We are truly sorry to read about your disappointing experience. Unfortunately, on the day of your visit, the Louvre Museum was on strike, and access for guided groups was restricted — a situation completely beyond our control and one that the museum often announces at the last minute.
Regarding the guide’s delay, it was caused by unexpected public transport disruptions, which sometimes affect punctuality despite our best efforts. Our team at the agency did their best to explain the situation and reschedule your visit once the museum reopened.
We are sorry that this exceptional context affected your experience, as our guides are generally praised for their professionalism and knowledge. We hope you will give France Tourisme another chance — perhaps for a Seine dinner cruise or a day trip to Versailles, where we would be delighted to offer you the smooth experience we are known for.
Kind regards,
Alice de France Tourisme
Very enjoyable and knowledgeable guide! Thoroughly loved our day at Versailles! Had enough time to tour the village of Versailles also.
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you so much, Nancy, for your lovely review! We are delighted that you and your granddaughter enjoyed your day at Versailles and that your guide made the visit so enriching. It’s wonderful to hear that you also had time to explore the charming village—what a perfect Parisian day!
For your next adventure, you might enjoy a guided tour of the Orsay Museum, home to world-famous Impressionist masterpieces, or a day trip to Giverny, where Monet’s house and gardens will transport you into a true painting.
We look forward to welcoming you again soon for more unforgettable memories!
