This tour was a perfect way to see The Louvre. We met at the tour guide near the Louvre. We purchased a skip the line and private tour. I would recommend bringing a fan for inside the museum, it can get warm inside. We didn’t have to wait in the long line outside. There’s another entrance inside that we used. The guide knew where to go for restroom breaks with no line. Our tour guide was excellent!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Hello Valerie,
Thank you for your wonderful review.
We are delighted to hear that your private Louvre tour was such a great experience and that you were able to make the most of your visit thanks to the priority access.
It is especially rewarding to know that your guide helped make the museum easy and enjoyable to explore, from navigating the galleries efficiently to sharing their expertise throughout the tour.
Your kind words about your guide mean a lot to us, and we will be sure to pass them along to the team.
We would be delighted to welcome you back for another discovery of France.
You may enjoy a guided visit of the Musée d'Orsay or an excursion to the magnificent Châteaux de la Loire, both offering unforgettable cultural experiences.
Kind regards,
Alice de France Tourisme.

This was a fantastic tour! Our guide showed us all the major displays in the two hours of the tour. It was wonderful to see all of the amazing art pieces! It was very busy and crowded but our guide somehow brought us to the right place at the right time and we never felt rushed. Honestly, I would even pay double the price for the ease of navigating the lines and even skipping some lineups. At the end of the tour we had the option to stay and browse the Louvre on our own. I could not be happier with the whole experience.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Hello,
We are absolutely delighted to read your review!
It is wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Louvre and that your guide helped you make the most of your time in one of the world's most famous museums. Navigating the Louvre can be challenging, especially during busy periods, so we are pleased that the tour allowed you to discover the major masterpieces comfortably and efficiently.
Your comments about the guide's organization, knowledge, and ability to manage the crowds are especially appreciated. Creating a smooth and enjoyable experience while bringing the artworks to life is exactly what we strive for.
We are thrilled that you chose to continue exploring the museum after the guided tour and that the entire experience exceeded your expectations.
We hope to welcome you again on another cultural adventure, perhaps with a guided visit to the Musée d’Orsay or an excursion to the magnificent Château de Versailles.
Kind regards,
Alice de France Tourisme.

Great knowledgeable guide. We were a group of four on the evening tour. Misuk, our guide gave interesting thorough comments . After the tour had finished, she took extra time to show us Napoleon’s Apartments, well worth it. A 10/10 guide
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Hello Guy,
Reading comments like yours truly makes our day!
Thank you for sharing your experience.
We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the evening tour and that Misuk’s knowledge and enthusiasm helped make your visit so memorable. Providing engaging and informative commentary is at the heart of what we strive for, and it is wonderful to know that her dedication exceeded your expectations.
We are especially pleased that she took the time to show you Napoleon’s Apartments after the tour. These extra moments often create the most memorable experiences, and your recognition of her efforts means a great deal to us.
We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again on another discovery, perhaps during a guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay or on a Champagne tasting excursion in Reims.
Kind regards,
Alice de France Tourisme.

That you should go inside the office to meet your tour guide. Your tour guide will help you get inside the Louvre and make sure you see all of the major attractions.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Dear Kim,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
We appreciate your comments regarding the tour organization.
To ensure a smooth experience, guests are asked to meet their guide at our office before heading to the Louvre.
The guide then accompanies the group to the museum, assists with the entry process, and introduces visitors to the Louvre’s most iconic masterpieces and highlights.
We understand how important clear instructions are when visiting a museum as large and popular as the Louvre, and we are pleased that this information may be helpful for future travelers planning their visit.
At France Tourisme, we are committed to making cultural experiences both enjoyable and accessible, allowing our guests to make the most of their time in Paris.
We hope to welcome you again on another tour during your next visit. You may enjoy our guided visit to the Musée d’Orsay, or perhaps our Versailles excursion, which offers a fascinating insight into French history and heritage.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Excellent overview of the Louvre. History, medieval architecture, early sculpture history, and paintings from Middle Ages into Renaissance period. And a bit beyond. Absolutely wonderful.

CHRISTINE_G, Mar 2026
Really informative, cant imagine entering museum unprepared...it is expansive and crowded. It is just beautiful, so to make the most of it, a guide makes all the difference...highly recommend a small group guided tour.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Hello,
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We are delighted to hear that you found the Louvre tour so informative and that having a guide made such a difference in navigating this vast and magnificent museum.
We truly enjoy helping our guests make the most of these iconic places in a smooth and enriching way, especially in small groups where the experience feels more personal.
If you wish to continue exploring with us, we would love to welcome you on a guided visit of the Orsay Museum or a day trip to the Châteaux de la Loire for another memorable experience.
Kind regards,
Alice de France Tourisme
Cortney_B, Feb 2026
What a quick and easy way to see the highlights of the Louvre, our guide Sensi was super knowledgeable, very friendly, did a wonderful job articulating the intricacies of the art we saw. The tour ran at a really good pace, and the perfect amount of time for anyone who might feel a little intimidated or overwhelmed by the size of the Louvre. Meet up was super easy, their office was located right across the street from the Louvre which eliminated the stress of meeting amongst an ever growing louvre crowd! This was my 2nd time on a Louvre tour, HIGHLY recommend!
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you so much for this wonderful feedback! We are truly delighted to read how much you enjoyed your Louvre experience and that Sinsé made such a positive impression with his knowledge, friendliness, and ability to bring the artworks to life. It means a lot to us that the pace and duration of the tour felt just right, especially in a museum as vast and impressive as the Louvre.
We are also very happy to know that the meeting point and our office location helped make your visit smooth and stress-free. Creating a comfortable, well-organized experience from start to finish is something we care deeply about, particularly for guests who may feel a bit overwhelmed by the scale of the museum. And coming back for a second Louvre tour with us and recommending it so highly truly makes our day!
If you plan to explore more of Paris, we would be thrilled to welcome you again. You might enjoy our guided visit of the Musée d’Orsay for a deep dive into Impressionist masterpieces, or perhaps a relaxing Seine River cruise to admire Paris from a different perspective. A half-day excursion to Versailles is also a favorite for many of our guests.
Thank you again for your trust and enthusiasm. We hope to see you again very soon for another memorable Parisian experience.
Warm regards,
Alice de France Tourisme
Carrie_D, Dec 2025
Our small group tour of 6 was a great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the museum and exhibits. His presentation was incredibly interesting and made the visit quite memorable. Even my husband, who is not a museum fan, stayed engaged. Highly recommend!
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're delighted to hear that your small group tour was enjoyable and that our guide's knowledge and presentation made the visit memorable—even for someone who’s not usually a museum fan. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you and your group again soon!
Best regards,
Alice France Tourisme
Ruthie_C, Dec 2025
Tour guide was a few min late for appointment. Its beyond his control but we were waiting almost one hour in line to enter louvre which it ate into our tour itself. Tour guide himself was pleasant and knowledgable.
The experience felt more like one of those run of the mill bigger guided tours so i wish we got that instead of paying more for a small group tour.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am glad to hear that your guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, but I completely understand your frustration about the delay at the meeting point and the long wait to enter the Louvre. Even when these situations are beyond our control, they can really affect the feeling of a small-group tour, and I am sorry that it did not meet the more exclusive experience you were expecting.
Your feedback is truly valuable to us, as it helps us improve the flow of our operations and ensure that our guests feel the added value of choosing a small group.
If you return to Paris, I would love for you to discover another side of our service—perhaps with our guided tour of the Musée d’Orsay or a relaxing sunset champagne cruise on the Seine, both of which offer a smoother, more intimate experience.
Warm regards,
Alice de France Tourisme

There were MANY problems,:
1. Tour guide arrived 30 minutes late.
2. He announced Louvre was on strike, we should still go over but our skip the line tickets would not be honored.
3. Upon arriving at the entranced, he was quite confused and didnt kmow which line we should get on. He then announced we couldnt wait and should reschedule for later in the day.
4. We went back to the tour agency where the woman behind the desk knew NOTHING. We rescheduled for a 3 pm tour.
5. On line we saw that Louvre opened at 11:30. We returned to the agency at 1 pm and asked if she knew if it was opened. She replied "How would I know? I'm not there." She wouldnt check her computer.
6. We returned to the agency at 2::30 pm and the guide was there. We suggested starting the tour early. He refused and hid upstairs.
7. When we went to the Louvre, he made us follow him in from a very long and convoluted path.
8. In the Louvre, he was knowledgeable of the artwork, but not personable and unable to give eye contact.
8. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND USING THIS AGENCY AND QUESTION IF I WILL EVER BOOK THROUGH VIATOUR IN THE FUTURE!
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Customer,
We are truly sorry to read about your disappointing experience. Unfortunately, on the day of your visit, the Louvre Museum was on strike, and access for guided groups was restricted — a situation completely beyond our control and one that the museum often announces at the last minute.
Regarding the guide’s delay, it was caused by unexpected public transport disruptions, which sometimes affect punctuality despite our best efforts. Our team at the agency did their best to explain the situation and reschedule your visit once the museum reopened.
We are sorry that this exceptional context affected your experience, as our guides are generally praised for their professionalism and knowledge. We hope you will give France Tourisme another chance — perhaps for a Seine dinner cruise or a day trip to Versailles, where we would be delighted to offer you the smooth experience we are known for.
Kind regards,
Alice de France Tourisme

Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you so much, Nancy, for your lovely review! We are delighted that you and your granddaughter enjoyed your day at Versailles and that your guide made the visit so enriching. It’s wonderful to hear that you also had time to explore the charming village—what a perfect Parisian day!
For your next adventure, you might enjoy a guided tour of the Orsay Museum, home to world-famous Impressionist masterpieces, or a day trip to Giverny, where Monet’s house and gardens will transport you into a true painting.
We look forward to welcoming you again soon for more unforgettable memories!

A good overview of the museum highlighting the more popular exhibits. The tour ended with the Mona Lisa as you need to wait in line to get an up close photo.

Thank you very much for your kind review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the highlights of the Louvre with our guide and that the tour ended on such an iconic note with the Mona Lisa.

Our guide Bosa was a wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The changing of the guards was not part of our tour but she was able to get us to buckingham palace in time to see it and positioned us in locations that allowed optimal viewing amongst the masses of people.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
Thank you for your feedback. We don't have a driver named Bosa, and we don't offer guided tours in the Bukingham Palace. If you're willing to come to Paris, we have plenty of tours to do, including the castles
— perhaps for a guided Orsay Museum tour or a day trip to Versailles!
Warm regards,
Alice from France Tourisme
Deborah_S, Aug 2025
I have had good experiences with Viator but disappointed with the Lourve tour. Started a bit late, knowledgeable guide but no personality. Tour ended a bit abruptly at Mona Lisa. No info on how to exit
Response from Host, Aug 2025
We’re truly sorry to hear that your Louvre tour didn’t meet your expectations. While we’re glad you found the guide knowledgeable, we regret that the overall experience felt rushed and impersonal.
Your feedback has been shared with our team so we can improve both the pacing and clarity around the tour’s conclusion and exit instructions.
We hope to have the opportunity to offer you a much better experience in the future — perhaps with a guided Orsay Museum tour or a day trip to Giverny, where we consistently receive excellent guest feedback.
Warm regards,
Alice from France Tourisme
Loretta_P, Jul 2025
It was wonderful! The tour guide was the best. We could never have imagined the journey without him. Also, Viator was very accommodating with a last minute change.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear that your experience at the Louvre was wonderful and that your guide made the visit truly unforgettable. It’s moments like these that inspire our passion for sharing the beauty and stories of Paris with our guests.
We’re also delighted that Viator could assist you smoothly with your last-minute change — flexibility and care are at the heart of what we strive for.
Next time you're in town, we’d love for you to join one of our dinner cruises with Eiffel Tower views or venture out on a magical day trip to Giverny, the enchanting home of Claude Monet. Both are perfect for creating even more lasting memories.
Warm regards,
Alice de France Tourisme
Cindy_Y, Jul 2025
Unfortunately, this tour did not live up to expectations. Our guide arrived 15 minutes late without any acknowledgment or apology. The meeting point instructions were vague and failed to mention that we could wait inside — as a result, we stood in the rain for 30 minutes, unsure of where to go.
The guide appeared quite young and inexperienced. To make matters worse, his microphone batteries were dead, so hearing any of the commentary was difficult throughout the tour. The overall experience felt very basic, covering only the most well-known highlights with minimal insight — something we easily could have done on our own with an audio guide or mobile app.
Given the price point and lack of professionalism, I would not recommend this tour. Save your money and opt for a self-guided visit instead — you’ll have more flexibility and likely a better experience.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
We are truly sorry to read that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience you encountered at the start of the tour.
Please accept our apologies for the delay and for the lack of clarity that led you to wait in the rain. While the meeting point is indeed clearly indicated on the voucher — specifying “Meeting point” at our agency address — we understand how important clear communication is, especially in challenging weather conditions. Your feedback helps us improve and ensure a more welcoming experience for all our guests.
As for the guide’s performance and the technical issue with the microphone, we take this very seriously. This does not reflect the standards we aim to uphold. We will follow up internally to ensure such issues are addressed promptly and do not happen again.
We truly hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity to show you the high quality of service we’re known for. If you ever return to Paris, we warmly recommend one of our scenic dinner cruises on the Seine or a guided day trip to the Châteaux de la Loire — both offer rich cultural experiences and lasting memories.
Warm regards,
Alice from France Tourisme

Worth every penny to hear some of the stories live. And getting in and through was a breeze. Guide was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Unfortunately I’m horrible at remembering names so I can’t name him here.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Dear June,
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the guided experience — it truly makes the stories come to life and adds so much depth to the visit.
We’re also glad your guide made it smooth and fun, even if he’ll have to remain the charming mystery man for now! 😊
We’d love to welcome you again — maybe for a guided Orsay Museum tour or a Seine dinner cruise next time.
Warm regards,
Alice de France Tourisme
Laurie_R, Jul 2025
While the tour was good, it was problematic that it started 25 minutes late. Our guide was more than 15 minutes late at the rendezvous point. And we waited another 10 minutes for the other guests who did not show up, or they could have left because the guide was late. His attitude when he finally arrived was dismissive of our displeasure over having been left waiting in the hot sun. And the tour company was not proactive in corresponding with us regarding the delay. I had to reach out to them several times to coordinate the rendezvous with their guide.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Dear Laurie,
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry the start of your tour was delayed and that the wait in the sun was uncomfortable.
Please note that our guides travel by metro to arrive to work, and unfortunately, unexpected disruptions can occasionally cause delays. That said, even when this happens, the guide always extends the visit to ensure the full two-hour experience is delivered as promised.
We regret if our communication did not feel proactive — we’re reviewing this internally to improve response times in such situations.
We hope you were still able to enjoy the tour content, and we’d be happy to welcome you again on a future visit, perhaps for a Seine dinner cruise or a day trip to Versailles or Giverny.
Kind regards,
Alice de France Tourisme

Sinsè was absolutely amazing. He knew so much and we really wouldn’t have gotten an appreciation of the art we saw. The foundations of the louvre underground were amazing!
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Good afternoon,
Thank you so much for your wonderful words! We’re pleased to hear how much you enjoyed your visit and how Sinsè made the Louvre come alive with fascinating insights — he’ll be so happy to hear your praise!
At France Tourisme, we love creating moments that help you discover the hidden gems of Paris, from underground foundations to timeless masterpieces. We’d love to welcome you back soon: maybe for a magical sunset champagne cruise on the Seine or an enchanting day trip to Giverny and Monet’s gardens — both unforgettable experiences!
See you again soon for more Parisian adventures!

Met behind the louve, easy walk from there (approach from the street on the north side of the louve, do not follow Google maps). Guide was knowledgeable, but seemed either a little uncomfortable with our little group or had thing going on in his life. He did fine, had some good insights and I would recommend, but you are not going to make friends with him. You get a small taste with this Tour and need to plan to spend the rest of the day wandering around to see other parts that interest you. It is never ending! They said if you walked all of it that you'd complete a half marathon.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Good afternoon,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad you enjoyed your Louvre tour and appreciated the guide’s insights, even if the interaction felt a bit reserved at times.
The Louvre is truly endless — and you’re right, a short tour is just the beginning! We love helping guests get that perfect first taste before they explore more on their own.
We’d be delighted to welcome you again — maybe for a guided Orsay Museum visit or a Seine sunset cruise to complete your Paris adventure.
See you next time!
