Great experience to have in Paris. Quite educational as well. Walking away with your own little perfume is a nice momento to take with you

Please be on time, very informative event. I actually learned a few tips and understood perfumery a little better although I have a lot of basic knowledge .

The making your own perfume part is about 30min, the rest is the museum tour and sampling the house's scents. The guide was very informative and fun! i gave in and got a 5pack of parfum but it'll be a great memento!

This experience was well worth every penny we paid! I learned so many interesting facts about the production of fragrances!! I had seen a story produced by 60 MINUTES on May 4 about the town Of Grasse in southern France, and its farming of roses and Jasmine whose blossoms are used in the production of perfume. It was a perfect connection to the Fragonard talk and tour!!!

FYI, admission to the museum is free, and there is a purchasing department at the end of the free tour. Learning about the different elements that compose a perfume was interesting, but we didn’t actually get to customize much of the perfume. The class works with a specific perfume in mind already made by the manufacturer. Our guide was sufficiently knowledgeable, but rushed through many of the historical aspects of perfume making, a the tour itself.

a very informative 45min tour & workshop, our guide was excellent. She made sure we felt comfortable & confident to ask questions.

This was a great experience! Great tour with interesting info-and not too long for the kids (tweens--both boys and girls). Our tour guide was very friendly and patient with the kids. Making our own perfume scent was lots of fun! I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Informative. Great tour guide. A delightful challenge producing our own perfume to take home. Highly recommend.

Nice experience learning about the history behind perfumes. I enjoyed making my own personal and unique scent! Lovely memory of Paris.
Julie_l, Apr 2026
This class is very elementary and I believe designed to be a sales pitch to buy perfume. I would take a hard pass and take advantage of other classes in Paris that are better.

I took my 12 year old daughter. We enjoyed the short tour and the perfume experience. It was a little more than an hour and that was perfect. Easy to find and I really liked the sample we walked away with.

We absolutely loved this activity. We did it as a family - my husband, our 11 year old daughter and me. It was so much fun to create the layers of fragrance, and all were thrilled with our individual scents. This is something I would absolutely recommend in Paris.

Very interesting and informative. Only problem was presenters English difficult to understand at times, and quite a bit of noise from others visiting museum.
Tricia_L, Mar 2026
It was interesting learning about the history of perfume. My daughter and I really enjoyed making our own fragrance. We were tasked with replicating a new Fragonard perfume but were able to achieve our own scent. Super fun couple of hours.

Well thought out event showing history of perfume and how it's made before making our own. I would have liked access to more scent choices (would even pay extra for access to more choices) during the make your own signature scent. But still really enjoyed this.

This was a great experience for perfume making, although the experience was a bit short. At the end, it was great that you got to keep your perfume sample. The Fragonard house has amazing perfumes.

This is a fun learning experience. We got to create our own perfume and take it with us at the end. Isabella was our guide/instructor and you can tell she is very happy and passionate about the perfume making process.

I attended the perfume workshop yesterday and, at the time, found the experience truly enchanting. I learned so much about the history of Fragonard and was so impressed that I decided to come back today—on my actual birthday—to purchase several large bottles as a special gift to myself.
During the workshop yesterday, I was on a very tight schedule and had to rush to my next reservation, so I couldn’t stay to shop. I returned today, less than 24 hours later, and was pleased to see the same woman who conducted my workshop. She even recognized me, and I explained that I was back specifically to make a purchase for my birthday. I politely asked if she would honor the group discount I had missed by minutes the day before.
Instead of professional courtesy or a welcoming response, I was met with pure spite and arrogance. Her response was a dismissive and sarcastic: "Oh, no! you could have come back after 5 years!"
This level of rudeness was completely uncalled for and effectively exposed her "warmth" during the workshop as a fake, rehearsed show. It is clear now that the workshop is a disappointment when you realize the person leading it has such little respect for her guests once the "performance" is over. Fragrance is an inherently emotional experience, and this cold interaction immediately tainted the scent I had previously found so lovely. It completely wiped out the fond memories of the day before and made the fragrance turn my stomach. I walked out without buying anything and will happily take my business elsewhere to a perfume house that values its customers and the memories they are trying to create.

It is WELL worth the time and money. It was one of best experiences I had in Paris. Thank you for the great experience!

Wonderful experience for our family. My 21 year old son is very into perfume/cologne and absolutely loved this.
Ann_M, Dec 2025
My niece really wanted to do this and I am so glad we did. Not only did we learn about the perfume making process, we got to try our hand and mixing for ourselves. Very fun!
tsinkis, Dec 2025
Very knowledgeable guide and you will learn a lot. Perfumes were excellent and good discounts at the shop.
Amy_G, Nov 2025
The entire experience is an hour. After a short tour, you learn how perfume is made and create your own with pre-picked ingredients.
Yoliza_D, Oct 2025
Fun and interactive experience learning about the history of perfume and how it’s made. At the end of the tour we went into a separate area to mix our own. Our tour guide was personable, funny and informative. Overall took about 1 hour.
Geoffrey_A, Oct 2025
Fun and informative. Learned a lot about perfume I never knew. Male guide did a great job. Well worth the visit.

If you are looking for a brief overview of perfume making and history this tour is for you! While the museum itself is free to enter the guide did go over a little bit for better understanding. The perfume making itself was fun but I thought that we would be able to create our own scent … instead there is a basic scent for you to re- create but can change up a bit. Good thing is that I liked the fresh scent that we were able to make! Overall a super fun experience and a nice keepsake to take home and remember Paris!!
Christina_M, Sep 2025
Not what i thought. Only mixing a few ingredients not ones you can choose. Would not recommend to clients
Patricia_C, Sep 2025
Our party consisted of five adults and one teenager. We were warmly welcomed and given a brief history of how perfume began. Most importantly history of the company’s perfume. We had the opportunity to mix some liquids notes to create our own perfume. Followers by a small tour to learn more about the company’s perfume history. A magical experience, highly recommend.
Lisa_G, Sep 2025
It’s not so much a perfume making class as you get only 3 choices of scents and a bossy guide telling you how many drops to put in a small spray bottle.
The guide marched us through the “perfume making class” in 10 minutes, then through the 3 room “museum before ending in the Fragginard store for the hard sell.
Spent more time explaining prices and gifts with purchase than actually making perfume.
Disappointing.
No offense, the guide had a very strong Asian accent which made it difficult to understand her explanations and orders. She would’ve made a great drill sergeant.
