David is simply the best! Period. We had a layover in Paris on our way to Egypt. David made it so easy with excellent instructions days in advance and touched basis several times before we even arrived. He tracked when we landed and welcomed us to France. He gave detailed instructions on where to meet him. Very courteous. As we drove to Paris from the airport, he shared a lot of history and a lay of the city. Local and historical knowledge. We proceeded to the Eiffel Tower, where he told us the best pictures could be taken. He even recommended where to go for a croissant and coffee, absolutely exceptional. He would drop us at great locations right in front of the site, and then we would send a message when ready to be picked up. He even provided some customization for us, as we are geocachers and wanted to get some at the sites. We just can't say enough positive things about David and his layover tour. He is absolutely incredible! He got us back to the airport in great time with instructions. He made our limited time in Paris a treasured part of our trip!

Wow!! David was an amazing tour guide, his knowledge of the city of Paris, his ability to navigate the streets with ease while giving us all the history and sharing the beautiful monuments and neighborhoods that make Paris so lovely was first class. David was kind, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The tour ends with you having the feeling that you have made a friend in Paris and wanting to return soon. A must do for a layover or your first day traveling to Paris to get a great overview of this magnificent city.

Fun panoramic tour of Paris during our layover. Our guide David picked us up from the airport in his car and took us to see all the main, popular sights of Paris. Though our time was limited, and we could not spend too much time at each location, we felt this was a great option for a long (8-9 hours) layover. Davis was pleasant to be around and knowledgeable about his city. After the tour, he drove us back to the airport. Highly recommend.

Daniel was AMAZING! This was a small group of 14. He paced the walking with frequent stops and interesting stories. Being a US native meant there was no trouble with foreign accents! And he spoke clearly and loudly for every one to hear. I highly recommend him and greatly appreciated the morning that we spent together.

It was such a great way to spend a long layover! David was so friendly and knowledgable about his city, his car was very comfortable, we were able to keep our luggage with us and see the main attractions of Paris in just a few hours. Would definitely recommend to anyone on a long layover!

We booked a private layover tour with David and really appreciated how communicative he was from the start. He provided clear directions on where to meet at the airport, which made arrival easy—even though our flight was about an hour late, he was right there waiting.
David took us around to see some of the major Paris highlights. It happened to be an extremely hot and crowded day, with some road closures due to Bastille Day prep, which made navigating the city a bit tricky. That said, David stayed flexible and was easy to reach via WhatsApp when we were ready to be picked up. He even dropped us off at our hotel for our overnight layover, which was a thoughtful touch.
Overall, David himself was great—friendly and informative. The tour felt a bit rushed and impacted by the crowds and blockages, so the value didn’t quite match the experience this time. But on a less hectic day, I could definitely see this being a great option for a quick Paris visit!

It was indeed a very warm day ( heatwave ) and indeed there were some roads closed due to Bastille day but, the traffic in Paris can be chaotic and hectic, we saw Montmartre, Eiffel tower , Arc de Triomphe the Louvre pyramid Notre Dame cathedral, the Pantheon...
I can assure you as I remember the tour we did , that traffic was pretty good this day, it's just more chaotic than US :)
Anyway thanks for your review , I knew where would be some blockages due to Bastille day but we managed to see all the monuments at least :)

David was a great guide. He was on time and helped us figure out where we needed to go. He was accommodating to all our questions and requests and was an excellent driver and so knowledgeable of the architecture and history of Paris. He communicated times we could visit each place so we made it back on time and he made sure we had plenty of time to get back to the airport. Amazing how much he fit into our layover tour. Can’t rave enough about him.

We were staying in London and decided to do a day in Paris. David was exactly where he said he’d be when we arrived & was amazing! He gave us the history on each site & we had the opportunity to get out, take photos, grab a crepe! We couldn’t have squeezed everything in during our time there without him. He recommended a very cute cafe for lunch and it was delicious. Very glad we decided to travel to Paris & thankful for David!

We had a wonderful tour with David. He was prompt picking us up, and totally customized the trip to meet all of our needs. He was extremely flexible, despite us having a relatively short layover. He was able to maneuver us through the city, hitting all the possible highlights and providing wonderfully articulated historical context and stories. It was my third time in Paris, but my wife’s first time. I couldn’t have asked for a better guy than David, for my wife’s first time. He was able to work in some of the special things in places I wanted to take her, as well as the “must do” Paris stops. He even made the hectic traffic bearable. When it came to seeing iconic landmark such as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and the Arc of triumph, David dropped us off right next to the landmarks, gave us plenty of time and with a simple text he pulled up almost immediately to pick us up. It was almost like a VIP service. We were able to beat the crowds and get remarkably close for some wonderful pictures. I’d absolutely recommend for anyone with a long enough layover. Whether you’re a 1st timer or 3rd timer like myself, you can customize this tour to your liking to make the most of a dreadful layover! 10/10 highly recommended

David was a wonderful guide to our introduction to Paris. He was a good communicator prior to our tour and even alerted us to a traffic issue on the day we were originally scheduled and suggested another day to avoid all the road closures, he was looking out for us to have a good experience. We saw the major sites of Paris and especially appreciated getting up to Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre in a car! David shared history along the way, answered all of our questions. He would drop us off at the ideal location for us to spend time at the sites. When we were done we would contact him and he would promptly arrive to take us to our next destination. It was wonderful to meet someone who has always lived in Paris. We would definitely recommend this for anyone doing a layover who wanted to see all the major sites or if you were just arriving in Paris and wanted an introduction to the city and sites.

He met us punctually, very early at Charles De Gaulle airport and filled the next four hours with a friendly, informative and delightful mini-tour of the highlights of Paris including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Sacre Coeur in Montmartre. Got us back to our connecting flight in plenty of time. We couldn’t recommend him higher!

David was able to provide a fun and informative romp thru Paris in only 5 hours. The flexibility he gave us to explore out on our own at various stops that interested us worked out perfectly. The pick up at DeGaule was easy and he got us back in time for our flight to the states.
