It's well worth having a guide to explain all the history behind creating the Louvre and how centuries of controversy made so many contributions.
I absolutely love this Tour our Tour guy. William was great explaining the history of paintings and very descriptive of the roles very educational and impressive thank you.
The museum itself is overwhelming but this tour made it not only manageable but exciting. We learned a lot and saw a lot. The tour guide was excellent and made it a fun experience!
Our guide was very polite and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our tour. It was also helpful that she used an orange hat on a pole for us to easily see where she is.
Alot of walking. Very crowded. You should have great mobility. Not very handicap accessibility. Nice
Very disappointing. Tour operators did not meet us no other operator had ever heard of the company Europe tours. Wouldn’t offer a refund. Not able to book other tour as all fully booked for the time we were in Paris. Jane
The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Our family included a grandparent who struggles to walk up and down many stairs, and the guide made proactively made sure we always had an elevator to use where possible.
We found the meeting point easily. Communication was great. Remi, our guide was very knowledgeable about the art we saw, had a lot of interesting and sometime funny stories to tell. He answered all our questions and gave us information how to proceed once we were on our own. There is a lot of walking and stairs as you go through the Louvre, be ready... the art is amazing, you do not have enough time in one day to see everything, so this tour shows you some of the highlights. I highly recommend it.
We were 10minutes late due to taxi issues and the guide left us stranded and also took our admission tickets so we couldn't even go ourselves. The women at the flag were NOT helpful and basically said "too bad". We ended up not getting into the Louvre at all because they were sold out on that day and we were unable to go on the next available day. I booked these months ahead. Given the traffic issues and the fact that there were 7 of us, taking 2 separate cabs, 10 minutes was not that long to wait for us. I also did not get a text looking for us and part of that lateness had to do with not being able to find their flag right away. they were tucked into a corner to the right when other tour groups were out in the open. NOT pleased. I would like a full refund.
The information was not clear on who to look for and I had to ask all the tour operators in the area. The guide was amazing. Informative, a great speaker and very entertaining and knowledgeable.
If you arrive 1 minute late, they will leave you outside with no chance of entering or getting you money back

The instructions for meeting the guide were NOT in the viator app. It was in fine print at the bottom of the ticket voucher that comes by email. We stood at the meeting point that viator has in the app for 30 minutes ahead of time and finally 10 minutes before the tour we went to every flag to find out if we were with them. We messaged the operator through the app as well with no response. There was no instructions on who we were supposed to be looking for. This was an extremely expensive tour! What a gong show! Do not book with this company.
The tour office did not have enough tickets for the amount of people they accepted on this tour, so two people were asked to reschedule or accept a refund. Our tour started about 45 minutes after the ticket issue was resolved and a restroom break was given. The tour guide was nice, however her microphone was in a fixed position in front of her mouth and every time she turned her head her mouth piece barely transmitted her voice so a lot of what she said couldn’t be heard clearly. Guides should have mics that turn with their heads. The two hour tour for two people was $175 US and it simply didn’t feel like a good value after the ticket error (which is on the company for over selling), the very late start and the poor microphone situation.

Our tour guide Santiago was knowledgeable and guided the tour well. We were happy to get the chance to visit the louver museum when visiting Paris.
They don’t make exceptions if you are a few minutes late. I asked another tour guide if I could go with her 10:30 tour since I missed my 10:00, she wouldn’t let me and said I’d have to buy another ticket.
I booked a 2 hour tour which turned about to be only 90 minutes because they gave the option to allow the group to visit the bathrooms first. The guide was knowledgeable but we missed a lot of important pieces.
Our pleasant and very knowledgeable guide, Barbara made what would have been an overwhelming experience fun and informative. Her wonderful personality, enthusiasm, and intimate knowledge of the artwork as well as layout of the museum helped us efficiently navigate and appreciate the most interesting and important parts of the museum! I showed up but the guide did not. After messaging via the Viator app, the your operator told me they cancelled via email “some time ago”. Later, they claimed the guide showed up, which is a complete lie. This was my only day in Paris and I could not reschedule. I always thought it was funny when people sent in scathing reviews for no-shows, but now I completely understand when the tour operator lies after not showing up and claims they can’t give a refund. I hope Viator will get rid of this tour operator and provide a refund.
The guide we had for the 2 hour tour on June 21, 2025, which I cannot remember his name, was very rude. For one, the meeting place was not confusing, but the guides did not identify themselves as to who they were the tour guide for, which made it very confusing. Even the tour guides seemed confused as to who was doing what, which resulted in people getting the wrong audioguide. Then before we entered the museum, we were told we could take a bathroom break before getting started. The female line was extremely long, and the male bathroom was closed, which resulted in men having to find another bathroom. This was of no fault to the guide, as the museum was packed with people. What I take issue with the guide on is that he left the individuals that had been in the bathroom and took the other individuals into the museum. He could have sent someone in the bathroom to inform people waiting that the group needed to leave. Give people some notice. If it had not of been for me seeing a woman in out group and her husband take off running trying to find the group, I wouldn't have known. Luckily, after myself and a few others with me were able to still enter the museum when we explained the issue to the agents checking tickets. I have been to the Louvre 3 times, and this was my nieces first time so thought her having a guide would be nice. Thankfully, we were able to still enjoy the museum, but I would not recommend this company. I would like to thank William, another guide from the company that I first met earlier. He was very nice and when I saw him with his group by the Mona Lisa to hand over our audioguides, he was very nice and respectful.

We got to see all the highlights (and some hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own) without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
This tour turned what could’ve been a confusing and crowded experience into a truly memorable and meaningful visit. We can’t recommend our guide enough—this was easily one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Paris!

You miss the line to enter the venue but you are still at the mercy of the amount of other visitors. It was very crowded inside.
