The instructions for meeting the guide were NOT in the viator app. It was in fine print at the bottom of the ticket voucher that comes by email. We stood at the meeting point that viator has in the app for 30 minutes ahead of time and finally 10 minutes before the tour we went to every flag to find out if we were with them. We messaged the operator through the app as well with no response. There was no instructions on who we were supposed to be looking for. This was an extremely expensive tour! What a gong show! Do not book with this company.

The tour office did not have enough tickets for the amount of people they accepted on this tour, so two people were asked to reschedule or accept a refund. Our tour started about 45 minutes after the ticket issue was resolved and a restroom break was given. The tour guide was nice, however her microphone was in a fixed position in front of her mouth and every time she turned her head her mouth piece barely transmitted her voice so a lot of what she said couldn’t be heard clearly. Guides should have mics that turn with their heads. The two hour tour for two people was $175 US and it simply didn’t feel like a good value after the ticket error (which is on the company for over selling), the very late start and the poor microphone situation.

They don’t make exceptions if you are a few minutes late. I asked another tour guide if I could go with her 10:30 tour since I missed my 10:00, she wouldn’t let me and said I’d have to buy another ticket.

I booked a 2 hour tour which turned about to be only 90 minutes because they gave the option to allow the group to visit the bathrooms first. The guide was knowledgeable but we missed a lot of important pieces.

I showed up but the guide did not. After messaging via the Viator app, the your operator told me they cancelled via email “some time ago”. Later, they claimed the guide showed up, which is a complete lie. This was my only day in Paris and I could not reschedule. I always thought it was funny when people sent in scathing reviews for no-shows, but now I completely understand when the tour operator lies after not showing up and claims they can’t give a refund. I hope Viator will get rid of this tour operator and provide a refund.

The guide we had for the 2 hour tour on June 21, 2025, which I cannot remember his name, was very rude. For one, the meeting place was not confusing, but the guides did not identify themselves as to who they were the tour guide for, which made it very confusing. Even the tour guides seemed confused as to who was doing what, which resulted in people getting the wrong audioguide. Then before we entered the museum, we were told we could take a bathroom break before getting started. The female line was extremely long, and the male bathroom was closed, which resulted in men having to find another bathroom. This was of no fault to the guide, as the museum was packed with people. What I take issue with the guide on is that he left the individuals that had been in the bathroom and took the other individuals into the museum. He could have sent someone in the bathroom to inform people waiting that the group needed to leave. Give people some notice. If it had not of been for me seeing a woman in out group and her husband take off running trying to find the group, I wouldn't have known. Luckily, after myself and a few others with me were able to still enter the museum when we explained the issue to the agents checking tickets. I have been to the Louvre 3 times, and this was my nieces first time so thought her having a guide would be nice. Thankfully, we were able to still enjoy the museum, but I would not recommend this company. I would like to thank William, another guide from the company that I first met earlier. He was very nice and when I saw him with his group by the Mona Lisa to hand over our audioguides, he was very nice and respectful.

We booked our Louvre tour very last minute and were absolutely blown away by how incredible our guide was. From the moment we met, it was clear we were in expert hands. Despite the short notice, our guide was not only organized and professional but also incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging.
They navigated the museum effortlessly, tailoring the experience to our interests while weaving in fascinating stories and context that brought the art and history to life. We got to see all the highlights (and some hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own) without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
This tour turned what could’ve been a confusing and crowded experience into a truly memorable and meaningful visit. We can’t recommend our guide enough—this was easily one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Paris!

You miss the line to enter the venue but you are still at the mercy of the amount of other visitors. It was very crowded inside.

Highly reccommend a guided tour. The Louvre was soo crowded. Our guide really needed a flag, so that we could stay together and find her in the beginnig outside the museum. Our guide was kind and knowledgeable, but she talked too softly and fast, for this American. :) Thank you for the experience!

NEVER use this tour group. Guide failed to show up at designated time or meeting point. Another family was waiting with us from 9.30am for a 10am tour booking and when we each contacted the booking agent to say no guide had showed up they told the other couple that they had overbooked the tour and a refund would be made. They then told us separately that the guide was at the meeting point and it was our fault - which it absolutely was not. A guide could not have missed us as all the other guides took their respective groups and it left the 6 of us waiting for our guide until 10.30am in the freezing cold! The booking agent failed to provide a refund and refused to review our case despite further attempts to communicate. We have now lodged a dispute with our bank. Unbelievably bad service.

Melville was awesome! It was pouring rain and I thought it would cause a delay but he was on time and ready to greet us with a smile. We were only 8 ppl in our group which was perfect. We saw all the “must see” sites at the Louvre. We were all very happy!

Terrible experience. Got my money robbed. Scheduled Tour for Louvre 10 am. But the Ticket retrieval place (was walking distance though) but opened later than 10 am... Tour Guide would not accept me as I arrived late....late because they opened counter late. Put a claim to try to refund or reuse on a later hour/day and this is waht I got:

We do not have a counter and you do not need to retrieve your tickets in a "ticket retrieval place".
You just need to come to our meeting point, 15 minutes before the tour, where our guide will be waiting for you.
The guide will then guide you in the Louvre.

What a waste of time, money, and energy. The only reason our family signed up for this was to get fast-tracked through the Louvre. Otherwise we would have been in line for hours for each popular exhibit, which wasn’t an option.
Well…Our guide never showed up even though we met at the designated site 30 minutes early. Attempted to contact the tour operator directly through the info provided. No response. Reached out to Viator customer service, and after 20 min of holding and waiting, discovered that the tour guide never “approved” the tour (whatever that means), therefore the tour would not be happening. This was puzzling since I received multiple email confirmations of the tour and was charged for it.
Viator apologized for their error and offered to refund me, but unfortunately this was our last day in Paris (and there weren’t any later tours available) so we were unable to see the Louvre.
I’ve booked dozens of tours and excursions through Viator over the years and have never had this happen. This is 100% on them. Beyond disappointed.
