    Very nice walking tour!

    This was a very informative walking tour around the Montmartre area and Sacre Coeur. The guide texted before the tour to ensure the meeting location. It is four hour walking tour covering a variety of elevations and stairs. Would be difficult for people with any mobility issues but was fine for our family. We had to specifically speak with the guide to allow in the tour to climb to the top of Sacre Coeur but it was easily accommodated. It included a subway ride which was educational for the children in our group.

    Our only awful experience with Viator

    I have been on several Viator tours in Paris and they have all been exceptional experiences, this one was beyond awful. The guide Francois was uninteresting, unknowledgeable and just wrong in many of his facts, including dates pertaining to French history. The most obvious mistake was outside the Musee D’Orsay when he told us the five statues were representing the five continents. When I told him there were 6 statues and seven continents he just looked confused. He may also might have been hard of hearing because when we asked a question he leaned in uncomfortable close to our faces. He also kept asking us if we wanted to stop for coffee until we informed him we didn’t drink coffee. It was a truly a terrible experience and if this had been my first Viator tour I suspect I would never do a second. I hope other customers will not be subjected to the experience we had.
