Great clean bus with audio guide. The top of the bus can be opened on a good day for open air viewing. The Green line took us all around the city and we got to see so many landmarks.

Not many memorable points, useful tour for a whistle stop tour but no chances to jump on or off. Headphones are not packaged separately so who knows where they have been. Biggest positive it was a 24hr ticket.

The reviews are accurate for Big Bus Munich!

I’ll give it 3 stars but all these other reviews are accurate and I’ve witnessed it myself. They have two bus tours the green line which has 7 stops and the orange line that has 3. I’ve yet to discover it on Viators site and the agent claim it’s listed here. I use a mobile device no where does it state it’s two lines and 11 stops. It could be pushed into 1 route to be honest. I think it’s more of a money grab stating they have two different routes. The tours are short, they claim to be an hour, probably because they sit at some stops for 10 mins. They’re unorganized, I’ve seen 4 buses sitting at stop 1 when they could be utilized somewhere else. I have also witnessed the stops and audio being out of sync, long pauses of nothing. I’m not sure if it’s the driver pushing the button early, or the locations off and there are some buildings that should have audio and didn’t. It is not worth what they’re charging. Big Bus do better.

It was very confusing and not the best organized on off bus tour at the beginning. I was put on the wrong bus and did the stadium tour which was interesting but I am not a football fan. When I explained this to the tour guide he just said tough you are stuck with us. So this took 4 hours. I did manage to jump on the correct bus when I got back and did see some great sights but didn't have time to get off and explore as much as I wanted to. The commentary on the bus was good. I jumped off once at the Olympic tower and the views were amazing but I was very rushed as the bus ends at 5pm.

For us Hop On Hop Off buses are an excellent way to send some time on your arrival day after a transatlantic flight. You get the lay of the land in a new city/locations for key places to visit without have to put in much effort. This was the case for us in Munich. The check in point for this Hop On Hop Off bus company was a short walk from our hotel. The two routes and audio commentary (in English) was exactly what we hoped it would be. We would recommend this company.

The driver had a very horrible attitude. Not to me but to others. You cant even ask him question without giving an attitude. Drivers need to understand that first of all that we are all tourist. If we know already then we wont ask. Patience n good character are missing. If tourist did not exist, they wont have a job.

This is the perfect introduction to the city of Munich. The upper deck of the bus is the perfect place to take photos of the major sights. The hop on/hop off feature gives the visitor a chance to check out specific areas and then catch the next bus on the route to continue the tour. Earphones plug in to a guided tour narration in whichever language you choose.

It's a good tour! there are 3 routes and like 15 stops (top attractions), you can get out of the bus and explore those stops by yourself! then come back to take another bus. Busses come and go each 20 or 30 minutes! Just pay attention where you are going or may get lost for a couple of minutes, I got lost looking for a stop. Overall good service!

The drive through the city center gives a good overview and you can see a lot, but the given info would need a revision in terms of the topicality (e.g. 1.3 million inhabitants?) and should be adapted already seasonally, because in winter you can e.g. not see several already scaffolded statues etc. But it is still worth it and is also completely fine in terms of the ratio price to performance.
