Overview
Navigate the white-water rapids of the Tenorio River on this tour from the Playa Hermosa area. After learning rafting commands and being outfitted with a rafting vest and helmet, head down the fast-moving river that includes a famous 12-foot (3.65-meter) waterfall drop. Plus, spot monkeys, lizards, and native birds in the surrounding land along the way.
- Be part of a team as you navigate a four-person raft down the river
- Rafters must be at least 12 years old
- Wear sports sandals or tennis shoes, no flip-flops
- Lunch will be provided; beer and soft drinks are available for purchase

- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Minimum rafting age is 10
- Weather permitting. Crew reserves the right to determine if necessary to cancel. If crew cancels, refund or alternate tour will be provided, dependent upon availability
- Not recommended for person with disability that would preclude them from boarding raft or paddling
- Not responsible for damage to personal items brought on tour. Bring personal items at your own risk.
- No flip-flops, you will need Tevas, Water Shoes or Tennis Shoes. You need shoes that will stay on your feet.

When we first got there, we were welcomed with friendly staff. They guided us on the tour and helped us have the most out of this rafting adventure. One of the staff stood out to us the most; Oscar! Oscar is such a friendly and good person! He was funny and playful! He tried to make the rafting more exciting and thrilling, leading us on different paths. Oscar, we thank you and love this excursion! Pura Vida!

This was the best trip we did, while in Costa Rica. The guides were knowledgeable and trained. A nice River with lots of fun rapids. Definitely, a must do!

The whole thing was amazing. The guides were perfect, funny, and knowlegeable. We visited in July and it had rained the day and night before, the river had swelled and was full of sediment which gave us a "50-50" shot at flipping for the 12 foot drop. This is an adrenaline river not for those looking for just sight seeing. The food at the end was capital D-elicious.

By far the best excursion of our trip. Lalo was our tour guide, he was the best. River is perfect and great sightseeing as you go down.
