Our coffee tour with Daniel was outstanding! He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the entire coffee-making process in a way that was both interesting and easy to understand. You could tell he was passionate about what he does, and he made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The coffee tasting was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of flavors to try. If you’re visiting the area, this tour is a must, and I highly recommend taking it with him.

The owner was our driver! Very friendly and cheerful. Our tour guide was very friendly and gave us a great tour of this coffee farm and tasting. The owner also crushed sugar cane and lime for Aqua Dulce, delicious! I would do this tour again. Very nice small farm and facilities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning tour with Danny, our guide. We learned so much about growing, harvesting, and processing coffee, and about brewing a great cup. Our coffee tasting was fun and the accompanying snack was delicious. Highly recommend the El Pueblo coffee tour.

Our El Pueblo Coffee Tour with Alan was a highlight of our time in Monteverde. The experience was informative, engaging, and filled with the kind of local authenticity that makes you truly appreciate Costa Rica’s coffee culture.
Alan was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about every step of the process. He walked us through the history of coffee in Costa Rica, from cultivation and harvest to roasting and production, weaving in stories and local insights that brought the experience to life. We even learned about sugar cane and its connection to the coffee-making tradition, which added a fun and flavorful touch.
The tour ended with a coffee tasting that was both educational and delicious. We sampled a variety of roasts, each with its own character and aroma, paired with small bites—including some of the freshest fruit we’ve ever tasted. It was the perfect way to round out the experience.

The coffee tour was a real experience for us and thrilled us completely. With many exciting insights into the history and the production process of coffee, we learned an incredible amount.
