We originally booked another place but were changed to orecchiette as there were more people to learn and interact with. Mimo was a wonderful host as were his family and they were very patient and supportive. Great night good food good fun and lots of laughs. Definitely recommend a try.

My partner and I still had an enjoyable morning overall. We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco on arrival and enjoyed another glass of wine with lunch, which was a lovely touch. The pasta we ate was delicious, and it was nice meeting other travellers.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to what was advertised.
The itinerary states you’ll go “behind the scenes” to see how an authentic Italian restaurant is run, but we never set foot in the kitchen or learned anything about the restaurant itself.
The tiramisu section was particularly disappointing. Rather than learning to make it from scratch, the mascarpone mixture had already been prepared. We simply dipped the biscuits in coffee and assembled the layers. We weren’t shown how the mascarpone was made, weren’t given a recipe, and didn’t really learn anything that couldn’t have been found in a quick online search.
The pasta-making was enjoyable, but it also felt incomplete. The ingredients were already measured out for us, and although we made the pasta dough and shaped the pasta ourselves, we weren’t taught how to cook it or prepare the sauce. Once we’d finished, the staff took our pasta away, cooked it for us, and served it with a pre-made sauce. I was hoping to leave knowing how to recreate the entire dish at home, but instead I only learned one small part of the process.
The description also mentions learning the difference between pasta fresca and pasta secca, but this wasn’t covered during our class.
Our instructor was pleasant and helpful, but the class lacked enthusiasm and interaction. It felt more like she was taking us through the motions than sharing a passion for Italian cooking. A little more energy, storytelling and explanation would have made the experience much more engaging and memorable.
Overall, we still had a nice afternoon, enjoyed the food, and appreciated the social atmosphere. However, if you’re booking this expecting a genuine, hands-on cooking class that teaches you how to prepare authentic Italian dishes from start to finish, I think you’ll leave a little disappointed. The experience is enjoyable, but the advertising sets expectations that simply aren’t met. For the cost I’d definitely shop around for something more authentic.

The class was good and the pasta we made was delicious. The reasons for 4 out of 5:
1. The class is in the inside of a restaurant, not in the kitchen. Trying to hear the instructor over the noise of the restaurant was sometimes difficult.
2. The restaurant is not air conditioned. It was quite hot. Thankfully there were bottl s of water on the table.
3. We didn’t actually make tiramisu. The teacher made everything; we just constructed it. And her verbal delivery could have been a little better. For example she had this huge mound of mascarpone and just said “now I will add the mascarpone to the sugar and egg yolks.” It would have been nice if she explained what mascarpone was etc. My grandson looked at me and said “what’s mascarpone?”
4. The instructor never introduced herself to the group and the instructions were almost robotic. Luckily we had a great group so that made the experience more fun. At the end, while we were enjoying our pasta and wine, she just waved goodbye and left. It would have been a nice touch if she asked the group what we thought of our pasta etc. She may have had other things on her mind. She didn’t seem to have the personality of other cooking instructors I’ve had.

I was travelling solo in Milan for a long weekend so decided it might be fun to do a cooking class. It was interesting to learn more about Italian food and we got to prep two pasta dishes as well as making tiramisu. You don't actually cook the pasta (I guess it's not practical from a kitchen space perspective) but you do make the pasta from scratch. I enjoyed the class and the food was very tasty topped off with a nice glass of wine.

This was a very fun filled experience! Nino was patient and explained why the recipe was done a certain way. We will be trying these recipes at home. Thank you!

We had such an amazing time, the chef was really kind and informative. She helped us when needed and encouraged along the way. After the making of the food, we all sat down and ate as one big family. We talked the entire time a got to know each other and where we were all from. I would definitely rebook this class again.

Fun! Decent instructions, a little repetitive and could use a little more actual hands on instruction during the pasta making. Food was delicious though!

Fun evening! Pasta we made was very good, nice texture, and a generous portion. Great set up and well run class.

We loved this class! We made two different types of pasta and a tiramisu! Our guide was so fun and it was so easy to follow along.

The experience was well worth doing. Great instruction on how to prepare pasta. The restaurant then cooked it, coated it in an authentic sauce and then we ate with some wine. What could be better.

So fun learning the basics of pasta and tiramisu! My 4 teenage boys said it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Delish lunch!

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the restaurant learning how to cook pasta and tiramisu! We met some lovely people and just had a ball! Highly recommend if you like doing that sort of thing.

Fun experience! Easy to follow along and we were given such good guidance that we'll now be able to make our own pasta at home. Our instructor was helpful and personable. I took my 3 young adult children and they really enjoyed the experience.
After our pasta cooked, we sat with the class and ate together, such a unique experience.

I needed to find a shorter experience in Milan due to my travel schedule with my family. This was the perfect fit! My family truly enjoyed this activity and we all would highly recommended it. Ask for Shima and you won’t be disappointed. Her English is amazing and was so much fun.

We had a wonderful time at the pasta and tiramisu making class. Alba was just wonderful - so warm and friendly, as well as knowledgable and a great teacher! The whole group was really lovely too and we thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening together. The location of the Come Na Vorta is perfect by the canal and the whole experience was really excellent value for money. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks!

This was an amazing experience. Alba, the instructor, is a sweetheart. She did a magnificent job and was incredibly patient. I attended this class with my adult children on Mother’s Day. We along with everyone else in the group, enjoyed this so much. We even celebrated the birthday of one of the ladies attending the class. The group that was taking the class with us were such nice people. They were from England, Australia and the US. By the end of the class, it felt like we were having dinner with our family. This was the best Mother’s Day I’ve ever celebrated.

Fun experience with a great instructor ! Pasta we made was amazing . The only issue we had was that they gave us the wrong address and we walked for over 45 minutes to find the right location.
Wendi_H, Mar 2026
It was a wonderful experience. Myself and my daughter had an excellent time, a few laughs and our dinner and dessert at the end of it.

Experience the inside and outside of the Milano Duomo! Few crowds but a little chilly in the winter. See it with a small group guide to better appreciate its long history.
Cara_F, Dec 2025
They were very friendly and it was an amazing and interesting experience. Not to much people and after a bit of time everyone got warmed up. Also with a little help from the host
