Horrible experience

They mislead you. Tickets were for museum tour and when met the broker he adviced we needed to pay 50€ per person to go inside the Duomo.

To avoid lines to go up to and down from the roof terraces, do the tour in the morning. The guided tour is very interesting and informative.

It was a great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the Duomo. One thing I didn't read beforehand was the the tour doesn't include the admission to the cathedral. So expect a €25 per-person charge. Which is fine and understandable.

Total rip off. The guide was a nice guy but from start to finish it will last just over 30 mins. You pay a lot of money for this. Our initial tour was cancelled and we had to rebook which cost us even more than the original booking. And you still have to pay extra to get in and climb to the rooftop which was the whole idea of going there.

Guide was a No Show

Our guide didn’t show up. Instead we got a call in response to our email asking where the guide was. We were offered a different date which didn’t work for us. We were sent our admission tickets but didn’t have the benefit of a guided tour. For that we received a partial refund. It was the first time in all of our travels that the guide was a no show. Overall this was a very disappointing experience.

The tour operator cancelled 45 minutes before and still has not refunded my money Do not use this tour company. We bought tickets at the Cathedral and did a self guided tour. The Cathedral is beautiful.

The guide difficult to find, had no sign. Instructions to meet next to green souvenir shop that..oh…used to be green. In the end had to ask another guide where to find him, and he was late. Paid for elevator, gave us stairs tickets, had to go find him to change them. Commentary good, rooftop visit mainly scaffolding, not really worth it

Our guide was wonderful in every aspect. We skipped the line and waited almost no time to get in. The tour had head phones to listen to our guide while we were going through the duomo. Wouldn’t do it any other way.

The meeting point provided was elusive. The gift shop you operated in front of, didn't even know who you were nor did he know the address. The Viator sign was tucked away behind the gift shop door. The start time posted was 11:00 am, but actual time was 11:30 am. The order of the itinerary was not in the order posted. How do you purchase a lift ticket vs a stair ticket?

Bring water. The heat is immense. If you book the rooftop make sure to get the package with the elevator. Climbing all the stairs combined with the heat will get you. Otherwise WOW!!! What a beautiful site to see, our guide was full of facts and information. Definitely would book again. I reached out to the guide prior to arrival as we were running late from Venice, they were wonderful about allowing us to join the next group.

The actual guide was very good however the organisation was poor. The meeting place was difficult to find. We arrived early and redeemed our tickets to be then sent to the museum only to get a call asking where we were and could we come a meet ASAP. We obliged even though we had only been in the museum 5 Minutes . This was a miscommunication through the staff which meant we could not go back into a museum. Even though we were offered eventually to have this fixed after the tour we did not take it up as the tour was very late to what was advertised and the manager came across very abrupt bordering on rude. a little disappointing for the price.

Complete rip off. After paying 45€/ person, at the meeting point they asked for another 22€/ person. Only 30min guided tour was given by another person.

What a rip off. Paid for a tour of the cathedral and rooftop. Was then told I would have to pay extra to get to roof. When we questioned this we were refused the tour and our tour cancelled. Tour weavers were aggressive. Profiteering.

Visit the Museum Duomo first to give yourself a deeper knowledge Duomo’s history. It is excellent! Give yourself at least an hour to purview. The tour guide was disappointing- lack of energy.

Absolutely awful experience. Tour said it starts at 12:30 but it really started at 12:10 - when we got there at 12:15 they made us cut the line and almost got into a fight with other people. When we got inside our host did not saying anything and kept on searching around for the tour guide, by that time the tour was already ending. Absolutely worthless tour…you’d be better off buying the tickets on your own and reading about the items

Duomo di Milano Tour and Rooftop Lift with Skip the Line Access

We were supposed to meet Marius; however, a Tios showed up in his place. He was not organized, did not manage the line either. Six of us did not receive physical tickets. This was taken care of with our tour guide, who was "on it"! She had to run to where Tios was to get our tickets. This held up the tour for the other guests. In addition, Tios did not have any Lift tickets for all six of us! I heard him tell our guide that there was an overbooking. Anyhow, I have since replied for half refund, as we only did half of what was promised. Our tour guide, I am so sorry I forgot her name. She was absolutely fabuloso!!! She made the tour so fun and interactive! I highly recommend her. I had the name Marius in mind, because that is who we were supposed to go with. So, the tour experience was amazing!!! My rating of 5 stars is for that. The organization, however, was very poorly handled. We would have gone up to the top, however, my husband had sore knees and walking all the way up and around, etc., would have been too much for him.
