Our guide, Mercedes Iriondo led us through the chronology of the murals in a rich combination of the history, politics, culture, and economic transitions in Mexicos national development. She brought the muralist movement alive for us! She welcomed questions and was very knowledgable and helped us see impacts of the different muralists styles. The context was superb and the Palace of Fine Arts, is a treasure.
