Gerardo was such a wonderful and knowledgeable host. My friend and I learned some wonderful mezcal and tequila recipes. The tapas were the best I had in Mexico City and paired well with the drinks we made. I would recommend this workshop 100%! You won’t regret it!

Best cocktail workshop I've ever done!

This was such a great experience. I loved every bit of it. Mauricio greeted us with a welcome drink, then we proceeded upstairs where he explained the difference between Tequila & Mezcal. He showed us how to make three different cocktails and they were all paired with a little appetizer. Everything was so good, and I have found the first margarita that I actually like. He gave us all the recipes so we can make them at home. The location is a bit from La Condesa, which was not a problem for us. We just took an Uber ride. The neighborhood is good.

Great experience! The host, Mauricio, was very knowledgeable on tequila, mezcal and cocktails. The class was a joy. There were only two of us in our party, and it was still an enjoyable class. I could see it being fun with a larger group too. As a note, the class was a little further out if the normal tourist areas, but it was worth it!

Such a fun time. Mauricio has such passion for what he teaches, and he does it in an entertaining way. The location is a little off the beaten path for tourists, but it’s a beautiful space and well worth the trip.

Dropped our luggage at the hotel and Ubered over for this exhilarating experience. So glad we did. Our mixologist was a perfectionist but was able to tweak my cocktails so they were ‘bespoke’. ☺️ Cocktails were delicious and tapas perfectly paired.

Highly recommended. Visited CDMX for a food/beverage tour for my birthday and this was one of my favorite events. We learned how to make three incredible drinks. Mauricio is an expert mixologist and knows exactly what he is doing. So much so that I was able to replicate what he taught us when we got back home. The Margarita Al Pastor is now my favorite type of margarita. If you’re in to cocktails and speakeasys, then you’ll definitely enjoy this.

Mauricio gave us a great introduction to the differences between tequila and mezcal, and taught us some great out of the box cocktail recipes that we can (and will) make again at home! He was also so easy to talk to and joke around with! Highly recommend this experience.

This experience vastly exceeded even our high expectations! Coco is an incredible host with a huge amount of expertise, and he shares it in such a warm, fun, entertaining way. We learned so much about types of tequilas and mezcals, when to stir or shake, order of ingredients, fancy shaking techniques and more. The cocktails and snacks were all delicious. We loved this and would absolutely send friends.

So glad I took this cocktail workshop. Immediately fell in love with the venue - Sorondo Bistro. Gerardo was amazing and very impressive. He broke down mixology concepts in very simple and understandable terms. I loved his passion for mixology and Mexican culture, it truly made it a valuable experience. He was patient and very personable and make the experience feel casual and fun. The food pairings from the restaurant were delicious! Still thinking about the perfect chilaquiles! I will take the workshop again when I next visit. This is perfect for true CDMX experience!

Me encanto! Mau es súper bueno explicando y haciendo los cócteles, la clase es súper amena y divertida. Te da tiempo para platicar pero tmb para aprender y disfrutar de las bebidas y la comida. Excelente para un plan diferente. Además te envía las recetas de los cócteles después para que puedas hacerlos en casa. No se lo pueden perder.
