Nicely concise tour of historical Merida. Gabriel was an exceptional Guide with a thorough knowledge of pertinent historical details without going overboard. His English was flawless and nicely exemplified his rich sense of humor. He answered all questions and made several valued revisit and restaurant recommendations. He is obviously proud of his Mayan heritage!

The tour covered a lot of central area and was quite detailed. We arrived early and waited to find the group, Somehow almost missed them as Sunday is an exciting time in that central area. Perhaps something to help you recognize group would be helpful. Lots of good information given.

We had a wonderful and insightful tour with Gabriel. We walked this beautiful town and saw many interesting sights. Gabriel was a great guide, pointing out historical sights, not to be missed museums to visit, and his favorite spots for meals and drinks!! We are so glad we started our time in Merida with this tour! Gabriel was extremely helpful in connecting us with a private driver to take us to Chichen Itza and other interesting places. I hope you are lucky enough to get this tour guide.

Gabriel was great!! He was super communicative even before the tour started. The tour itself was a fantastic introduction to Merida (or Jo' in Mayan as we learned). He was super patient with all of the questions and you can tell how much he loves this city and his job. Highly recommend!

Fernando did a great job despite the heat, humidity, and 20 guests! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to walk with. I will say though, I will look for a smaller walking tour in my next destination. Any city can be a noisy place so, walking and talking with 20 people in tow makes it difficult - if not frustrating - trying to hear everything he had to share. Plus, there is a ton of street construction going on in Merida right now. Ten guests is really the maximum that can feasibly walk around together between the construction. Still, 5 stars for Fernando!

Good experience - the guide was knowledgeable and humerous. But the reason I am giving 3 star instead of 5 is apparently this tour is free of cost, only runs on voluntary gratuity but Viator charged me a hefty 380 pesos!!! I found this disparity quite dishonest. Besides the description of the tour mentioned entry included in many places but we hardly entered any sites. Other than that, the guide's English and historical knowledge was top class and thanks to his timely information I was able to watch the enactment of Mayan ballgame
