This is a wonderful way to see some great history behind the Mayan culture some of the ruins/pyramids and cenotes. I LOVE THE CE-Notes but THEY MUST RECOMMEND PEOPLE WEAR SWIM SHOES because you are not allowed to walk to the Ce-note with shoes unless you have on swim shoes.. The rubber mats located where you have to change into swim wear and the sidewalk/ground that you have to walk on to get to the Ce-note were VERY UNCOMFORTABLE😒..

Davide was very knowledgeable & funny. He was passionate about te Mayan's & the Yucatan region. The Cenote was a must do, Izmal was nice but Chichen Itza is spectacular. Pity place is overrun with souvenir stalls that really spoils the effect.

All around beautiful experience! Awesome and very knowledgeable tour guides. I loved listening about the culture and history. The food was Soo good 🤤 I miss it already lol. My kids had a blast jumping in the Cenote! Simply an Unforgettable experience! Thank you to everyone involved in making our tour awesome!

Good experience and tour guide was very knowledgable and very willing to share. Seen the most beautiful thing in the world.

It's a long day but we covered a lot of distance. Enough time at each location and nice lunch. The cenote was great fun and Chichen Itza was amazing

Our driver was great and very knowledgeable, although I suppose i didnt realize that all the tickets were not included in the tour.

This was a good introduction to some of the highlights of the Yucatán peninsula. Our tour guide spoke alternately in English and Spanish throughout the day as he told us many things. Only at Chichen Itza did he actually tour with us, for one of the two hours that we were there. At the cenote and at Itzamal, he provided all the info in the van as we traveled, and then we were on our own while we were there. This is certainly an efficient use of the time in the van, but I had questions in all of the locations that only came to mind as I was there, rather than in advance, and I wished for the chance to ask questions in the moment. As well, I felt that asking questions in English might have been challenging. Our guide was welcoming in a professional way but did not seem interested in engaging with any of us in the tour who’d conveying his information.
I did appreciate getting to Chichen Itza late in the afternoon because while it was busy, it didn’t feel enormously crowded, and it was definitely less hot than earlier.
It’s a lot of time in a van with not a lot of legroom for a tall person, and there was only limited conversation among those of us on the tour that day, so I felt it wasn’t necessarily the best option for a solo traveler.

Great tour, three great experiences. Seeing the yellow town was cute, but climbing on the Mayan pyramid was awesome. Beautiful cenote on this tour, I’ve seen many, this one is super pretty. Chichen-Itza was a wonder. Such a cool place, bring sunscreen and plenty of water, it’s in the sun.

Our main guide, Carlos, was great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. But overall the trip felt rushed. I don’t see the point of stopping at Izamal. It didn’t offer much, if anything. The Chichén Itzá experience was fantastic, except for the extraordinarily aggressive vendors selling souvenirs. Some were fun to haggle with, others I just walked away from while they shouted at me. If I did this trip again I’d only do the cenote at Ki Kil and Chichén Itzá. I’d spend more time at each and forget Izamal.

Don’t forget your swimsuit! The tour is full of fun, entertaining and educational moments. It is very well organized and the tour guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are interested in experiencing all the highlights of Yucatan in one full day, this is the tour for you.

This was a very interesting and enjoyable tour Our guide, Alberto, was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. He did a great job teaching us the history of each site, and we were impressed that he speaks Mayan, Spanish, and English fluently. His explanations really enhanced the experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience with your guide David & driver Martin. Nice tour of Izamal town, adventure in the Ik kil Cenote, good buffet lunch and finally great visit to Chichenitza in the late afternoon.
Kent_D, Dec 2025
Izamal a waste of time. Cenote great. Lunch horrible. Terrible buffet. Beverages not included in price. Chicken Itza great. Pablo a good guide. Admission to cenote and Chichen Itza not included in tour price making it an expensive day.

Great experience! Our guide was very good and knowledgeable and the tour was very well organized, I loved it!

The van was comfortable and the driver drove well. The food wasn't good and there weren’t lots of options. At the pyramids, I wish the guide would have gone a little further in explaining some of the other parts of Chichen Itza. He really only talked about the main area but there’s many other remains around it that I saw and wanted to understand better. I would say for all the sites it was mostly a quick explanation in the van and then you mostly got to explore on your own which is fine if that’s what you’re into.

David is a fantastic story teller and tour guide. Thank you for the great trip! The Cenote is an incredible experience.
Ana_R, Nov 2025

Be ready to wake up early, but it’s worth it. Take some electrolytes too. Wilbert was an amazing guide, fluent in both Spanish and English with amazing fun facts and great story telling abilities.

Great trip to the site and centor was also excellent. Long day but well worth it. Would certainly recommend it.

We had a wonderful experience. I traveled with a 10 yo, 11yo, and 14 yo, and we all had such a beautiful time. I appreciated how the tour was set up. We went to Izamal first, then the cenote (Ik Kil), then lunch, and then Chichen Itza. We had an hour at Izamal, another hour at Ik Kil, and then 2 hours at Chichen Itza. The kiddos wanted more time at the Cenote, but I was fine with the amount of time we had. We got really great information at Chichen Itza, and had plenty of time to take beautiful pictures and shop. The items at the market were absolutely beautiful, and I wanted to buy everything.
Definitely bring cash. For the cenote, we needed 220MXN, and we needed more cash for tips for the dancers, and servers at lunch. We also needed cash for the tip for the driver and the tour guide.
Chichen Itza takes card for entrance, and the people at the markets took card as well. Chichen Itza was free for children (both my 10 yo and 11yo were free).
The bus ride was not bad. AC worked well. It was a little hard to hear the tour guide as he was talking about history, but that's only because we were in the back of the bus. I did wish he had a microphone.
The kids didn't suffer at all with the bus rides, but that was because we had a deck of cards that they played the whole time. Strongly recommend bringing cards (or Uno)!
Also, the bus was equipped with USB ports above every seat. I was running low on battery on my phone, but I only had a USB-C chord. I'd recommend bringing a portable charger, or a USB chord.
Overall, we had an outstanding time, and I really only began to feel exhausted 20 minutes before we got off the bus. Those last 20 min on the bus driving through Merida to our drop-off point felt very hard, but after a 10-hour day with 3 kiddos, that's not so bad!

This tour is outstanding!! The cenote experience is out of this world!!! Chichen Itza is also unbelievable!! Izamal is a cute town! Carlos and Jose are a great team!! Carlos explained everything so well!! Would love to have him as a tour guide again!!
Kameron_R, May 2025
Overall excellent experience! Carlos was entertaining, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Izamal was very cool and we had plenty of time to explore the enormous monastery and the markets. The Ik Kil cenote was amazing and super cool and fun to swim in. We then got lunch at a buffet, which was pretty decent. Finally, our guide in Chichén Itzá was excellent, switching back and forth between Spanish and English so everyone in the group could understand.
My only complaint is that we rode in Carlos' car, not a van, so it was pretty tight for driving seven people 1-2 hours between activities.
ARLETA_B, May 2025
It was first and only trip in Mexico we had, where guide spoke English. Everything was well planed and organized. The guide told us a lot about history and culture.

A lovely tour in a small group! A very friendly and knowledgeable guide.
Amazing sightseeing spots, sufficient time for each stop
Barbara_F, Mar 2025
Tour guide was amazing and overall tour was great only problem was the van. It was way too small and felt very claustrophobic. The seat in the back had windows but were so low that we couldn’t really see anything unless we stretched our necks down. So the only view we had for the whole hour and a half to and from the location was the pavement or the backs of people’s heads.
Terri_S, Feb 2025
Javi and Jorge were excellent guide and driver. Javi spoke clearly and the tour was very enjoyable. Jorge navigated the roads (some) under construction very well.
Izamel was my favorite... it has an old pyramid there that you can climb and it was so fun! I would highly recommend the tour!
Cornelia_M, Feb 2025
An amazing guide, Birdie, who has a great sense of humour, extremely knowledgeable and very sensitive to all members on the tour. The bus driver was careful and safe as well as willing to communicate with the members of the group.
Simone_B, Feb 2025
The Chichen Itza / cenote tour well organized, informative and had comfortable transport. I would certainly recommend!! It was such a great, very memorable day.
Sharon_M, Jan 2025
Tour guide emilio and busdriver georgeha were professionals. Great fun day at cenote and ruins.
Bring pesos for tips. Tickets take applepay .lots of peddling of trinkets at chitzenitza.
David_R, Jan 2025
The guide speaks without a break between Spanish and English, so an English speaker has to concentrate on the Spanish in order to be ready when the guide reverts back to English.
Very informative, but the details of the pyramid are complex and abundant.
Tbe cenote was a fun experience, but the walk down to the water barefoot was painfull, as no shoes were allowed.
The meal was very good, supplemented with music and two dancers.
Ismal visit was OK, but nothing special.
I would recommend this tour.
